We do NOT write NSFW. More specifically, we don't write smut. Suggestive themes are okay! If you're unsure, please feel free to ask in your request and we'll confirm for you.
Headcanons and Scenarios are both okay! You can ask for just headcanons or just scenarios, or both. The only difference is that it'll be held back on the queue since it takes longer to do.
The character limit is 3, though there are minor exceptions!
Those exceptions mostly include if you ask for a certain pirate group (like for example, the Supernovas). In which case we can write it, but it'll be more brief.
Please be polite within your requests, we'd also love more interactions!
Any requests sent in while the box is closed will be deleted, apologies!
Unless specified, we'll be using they/them pronouns for the readers (no OCs).
Characters/Groups we WON'T write for:
Blackbeard pirates
That's it.
Characters we're most comfortable with:
Trafalgar Law
Donquixote Rosinante (Cora-san)
Killer
Portgas D. Ace
Sabo
Thereâs a chance the rules will expand once we get more into things, but for now, we hope you enjoy your time here!
I'm..kind of new here but I really like your scenarios and writtings you made!
If it's okay..Can I ask a headcanon for Whitebeard Pirates with Female! Teen! Shy! Reader?
By that I mean, Y/n is one of the people that usually spend their time alone away from others and genuinely prefers to be in fpur walls.
I just wonder how would the crew treat her..
Anyway, if you feel uncomfortable with it - please ignore this message. Take care of yourself!
Have a nice day!
Sorry this took us 5000 years </3 askjdh
From the moment you joined Whitebeardâs crew, you knew you were in it for the long haul
They could be quite loud and rambunctious, but there was so much affection that came with it and admittedly it can be a lot- especially since you tended to shy away from these sort of scenarios.
Of course, if you donât look like you want to be there or seem uncomfortable, the division leaders are the first to come to your aid. Izo in particular is a face youâve grown well accustomed to.
You assumed youâd be hard-pressed to find a moment alone and to yourself, especially in the company of those so tightly bonded together as a family- yet itâs quite the opposite really.
Those moment where you needed a way out and Izo found you, depending how easily the answer could be coaxed out of you a few encounters may have been necessary to get your point across but damn- does Izo truly deliver.
No one treats you like glass and they sure as hell arenât walking on eggshells with you. An important part about family is the fact people are accepting of one another and Whitebeard and his crew are no exception to this clause.
You donât have to explain yourself, they understand- but they do need you to let them know your boundaries and what youâd be comfortable with overall; theyâre more than happy to accommodate.
As a member of the crew, you are always welcomed to join them when you feel more comfortable or ready, take all the time you need!
That of course, does not save you from friendlier souls who will simply seek you out because theyâre built like that.
Theyâll give you space, but you have to accept that theyâll be around sometimes- maybe they wonât say anything to bother you but theyâll be around.
Marco and Ace are probably the finest examples of this case.
Ace is an older brother, of course heâs going to look out for you. Even if heâs easy going and a rascal, heâs got a big heart that he wears quite openly on his sleeve and heâll always be around if youâre willing to take his penny for your thoughts.
Most of Whitebeardâs crew have family or have found family amongst themselves and would be 100% understanding of your situation- but will also stir the pot, because as loving as family can be, they can also be a very lovable pain in the ass.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEARLY BELOVED !! Modern AU because there are ONLY good vibes here !! iâm writing this without hamfieâs permission pls donât kill me ty ily
There was something incredibly lonely about waking up in the mornings alone.
When the rays from the sun peeks through the curtains, and the chirping of birds sound more like nails scraping against chalkboard than a daylight tune, Law finds it hard to get out of bed. It wasnât the first time, and it surely wouldnât be the last. Still, he manages.
The scent of freshly brewed coffee and the sound of Bepoâs pattering is enough to wake him up in the mornings, most days. Heâs thankful that today is one of those days.
Itâs 8:42 in the morning when he receives a text.
Itâs from the group chat he has with Shachi and Penguin- itâs unusual for them to be up this early. Theyâre wishing him a âHappy Birthday,â and itâs only then does he remember what day today is. Scrolling up, it seems this was the second birthday text. The first was sent exactly at midnight.
Why did you send it twice, he wonders sipping on his coffee and sending back a âThank you,â message. They respond moments later, saying how heâs too formal, and that theyâll be telling him happy birthday for the rest of the day- something he very quickly shoots down. Unfortunately for him, he knows his friends donât take 'No,â for an answer.
He doesnât tell them how heâs secretly grateful that they were so hard-headed.
The weather is good today.
Thereâs a slight breeze, only strong enough to sway a few hairs, and the sun is playing hide-and-seek, popping out every couple minutes to greet passerby's before going back behind the clouds.
This is the time he takes the harness off of Bepo and allows him to run and play with the other dogs. Despite being so big, Law would argue that heâs never met a bigger baby.
âDonât run too far,â he ruffles his fur, earning a happy bark in return before the white mass scampers off.
He could still remember the first time Bepo had ran off and gotten lost. It wasnât too far away from home, not even a ten minute walk, but the poor thing was frightened, shaking near some bushes. Thankfully, every since then, heâs always stuck within view.
âTORAOOOO!â
There goes my morning, is the only thought that passes as heâs tackles to the ground.
âShishishi!â Law would swear up and down that Luffy needed a leash way more than an actual dog. âHappy Birthday!â
âThanks,â he groans, trying, and failing, to push the younger male off of him. Where does he get all this strength from? Eventually, he gives, and falls back on the ground. There was no use in trying to get him to let go, and he surely wasnât going to do it voluntarily any time soon, so what was the point?
âNeed help there, Traffy?â The snickers of Luffyâs two brothers ring prominently in his ears. Of course they were enjoying this- if you hadnât told him that the three of them were actually adopted brothers Law would accept that they were all blood related.
âGet him off,â he seethes, watching as Sabo casually lifts his younger brother up by the collar like a cat. He only barely manages to regain his balance when Ace comes next to him and roughly slaps his back, grin wider than ever, as if he didnât just give someone a seven-inch bruise.
âHappy birthday, dude!â Thankfully, Saboâs a little nicer.
âAny special plans today?â The blonde asks, still holding onto his brother whoâs desperately trying to flee from his vice grip to no avail.
âNone,â he answers. His friends have enough energy for today that he feels like there wasnât a need to expend his own. âIâll take Bepo on a walk, visit family, then go back home.â
Despite his rough tone, they donât seem to mind. âWell then,â Ace makes his way to join Sabo. âI hope you have a good day then, we should get going. Itâs was nice seeing you.â
He rubs his back, half-heartedly agreeing with that statement before walking back to the bench. For some reason he felt like today was going to be a long one.
The door opens with so much force Law swears that the hinges would need to be replaced later.
âBig brother!â
He smiles, as he always does around her. âMorning, Lami.â
âDonât âMorning, Lami,â me! You didnât respond to my text message this morning!â She huffs, puffing out her cheeks and settling both hands on her lips. âBut who cares about that,â her frown is replaced as quickly as it came with her signature smile. Her hands reach out to grab his and drag him inside the house, Bepo and all. âMom and Dad have been waiting for you! Cora-san is here, too!â
âCora-san?â He repeats. It wasnât that he wasnât happy to see him, quite the opposite, but given the clumsy nature of the man Law had to wonder how, and if, did he get here unscathed.
âYeah! Uncle Doffy drove him over.â Ah, he cringes, that explains it.
Stepping into the room felt stifling. Not in a bad way, of course, but the amount of love that fluttered through the air and glided right towards him felt surreal. This happens every year, but he could never get used to it.
âLaw!â His mother and Rosinante both stand up from their seats at the same time. Lami dodges out of the way, moving to sit next to Doflamingo- how she could stand that man was beyond him. âYouâve grown so much since I last saw you!â The older male ruffles his hair.
âYou saw me last month, Cora-san.â He moves out of the way from his uncle only to get trapped in the arms of his mother.
Her words are as gentle as her touch, and he doesnât mind admitting that he likes being held by her. âHappy birthday, Law.â He gives her a gentle squeeze back.
Their hug doesnât last long, only a couple seconds, but there were other people in the room, restless to congratulate the celebrity of the day. âWhy donât you come sit down?â
He would like that.
Itâs late night when he finally arrives home again.
Itâs been a long day, just as he had thought it would be. From visiting family to friends tackling him on the street, to getting dragged out to celebrate at the Baratie for lunch- there was no denying that he was grateful to have such supportive people in his life, but perhaps they were just a bit too supportive.
He barely manages to fish the keys out of his pocket when the door opens.
âLaw!â A flood of calm washes over him. âWelcome home!â
He doesnât say anything as he steps inside and takes off his shoes, finally releasing Bepo from his harness. You donât say anything either, content with simply standing to the side and waiting for him to finish his tasks.
There was something so fulfilling about coming home to someone waiting for you. How theyâll greet you back every time with a big smile and open arms, urging you to come closer.
âIâm home.â He mutters, burying his face in your neck.
âTiring day?â
âYeah,â he appreciates the strokes to his hair.
Hello hello! Both of your have such awesome writing! I had so much fun reading the headcanons and scenarios of the bodyguard AU! Could I request either college AU or a soulmate AU or your choosing for Zoro? Whatever you feel like writing! Thank you!!
College & Soulmate AU; Scenario
Character; Zoro
Word Count;Â 1,718
Thank you so much, weâre glad you liked it !! But no, but let me tell you how we screamed at each other for literally half an hour when we saw this request. There were too many good soulmate AUs we ended up using a generator aksjdhas.
The first time you and your soulmate touch you get stuck together for a while.
December is when you find him sleeping on campus grounds. Heâs resting on one of the outdoor tables, book open, with arms covering the pages. Snow is falling, and youâre cold even with a heavy fur coat and umbrella keeping the white specs from melting into your hair.
Youâre not sure if you should wake him up despite the fact that he was wearing nothing other than a T-shirt and some jeans, but he doesnât seem very bothered. Well, that is until he sneezes. Itâs followed by some incoherent grumbling and nearly scares the shit out of you, but itâs enough for you to decide to help.
âHey,â you poke his cheek with the butt of your umbrella, not too fond of touching strangers. âHey!â
He doesnât stir, and youâre left wondering if anyone else has tried to help him before you showed up and ended up leaving it be because he wouldnât budge.
Still, you couldnât leave him here in this type of temperature; so you decide to leave your umbrella behind. Itâs long enough to lean against the table and shield him from the ever piling snow without directly touching any part of his body and possibly bothering his rest- not that you think it would. He didnât flinch even when you yelled at him.
December is when youâre working at Shakkyâs bar late into the night to pay off your college tuition.
Those loans wouldnât pay themselves after all and the salary was good.Â
The company at the bar itself was interesting to say the least. You could never truly say you had a dull night while working there. Be it the slurring drunks and their awful attempts at pickup lines, to the terribly sobering tales that would be shared across the counter; it was an eye opening experience.Â
Tonight would be much like any other- at least, thatâs what you had thought until a familiar man comes through the door.Â
He seemed well- that was good. You didnât give it too much thought, after all, you were on the clock and this was a rather popular bar for the student body to frequent. From the way Shakky greets him, he mustâve been a regular long before you had begun working here.
Setting down the glass you had been mindlessly polishing, your attention is drawn towards a customer sitting near the back of the bar. Heâs a bit louder than the other customers, but you were pretty used to that. Eustass Kid came in all the time and drank until he either passed out or his blonde haired friend carried him out forcefully. At the very least he wasnât bothering anybody.
âExcuse me,â the green haired man raises a hand, successfully catching your attention. It seems he was done talking to Shakky by now.
âYes?â You make your way over, an award-winning customer service smile tugging at the corner of your lips. âWhat can I get for you?â
He ends up getting a few, maybe more than a few, beers. This man sure could drink.
December is when your car decides it needs its own break from the cold winter snow. It thankfully doesnât break down anywhere too traffic heavy, and thereâs an auto-repair shop not even five minutes away.
âOh, hello,â you greet, surprised to see a familiar face working here. Heâs wearing a tank-top and some slacks, and this time you think the attire is appropriate given how much he was sweating.
The owner, Franky, had more than generously came to pick up your mobile and gave you a ride along the way, saying it would be done the same day. I have a reliable repairman, he said more than just a bit too loudly for comfort.
The male glances up at you for a second before going back to finish up on the vehicle he was already occupied with. âHey, there.â Youâre not too sure if he recognizes you- itâs a hard to not recognize him- but thatâs fine, you just needed your car fixed.
It doesnât take him very long to finish up on his current project before moving onto yours. He thankfully doesnât ask any questions, it seems like the owner had already filled him in, and just starts working.
âYou know,â he spares you a glance, picking up another tool. âHe said itâd be done the same day but itâs still gonna take a few hours. Donât you have anything better to do?â
âUnfortunately not,â you sigh. The only plans you had were to go back home and take a long, long nap, but there was no way you were going to walk back in this type of weather. For a while, youâre standing around a little awkwardly, fiddling with the fluffs of your sleeves before he speaks up.
âIf you want you could sit inside where itâs warmer. Thereâs a TV and some magazines you could read to keep you occupied.â You debate that for a bit, looking through the glass door to the waiting area, but ultimately decide to stick around for a bit longer.
âItâs fine,â you say with a smile. You could wait inside later, for now youâd want to wander a bit. Itâs not every day youâd get to go to an auto-repair shop and youâve always been a bit curious with how often Kid yells about it in the bar. âWould it be alright if I take a look around?â
He gives a grunt of approval and you make yourself comfortable, roaming the workshop. Itâs quite big, and you hadnât noticed âtil now that the walls were painted in vibrant blues, red, and yellow. It matched the ownerâs eccentric personality.
âOh,â a stand hidden to the back of the shop catches your attention; a lone umbrella resting on its handles. Yours- to be more precise. âYou use an umbrella during snow time?â You hadnât bothered to ask for it back, the thought never really occurred to you. Considering they werenât that expensive buying a new one wouldnât be much of a hassle. If anything, you were more surprised heâs kept it around.
The male clears his throat, stopping whatever it was he was doing to your car and wipes his hands down with a towel. âActually,â he admits sheepishly, âIâve been meaning to return it to you. I just kept forgetting.â
You raise a brow, âYou knew it was mine?â
âIâve seen you use it around campus before,â he admits. âNot a lot of people use an umbrella while itâs snowing, and the colorâs pretty vibrant so itâs hard to not notice. I had wanted to give it to you when I visited the bar, but you were constantly busying yourself so I never got the chance.â
A chuckle escapes your lips at his little confession. He seemed like such an intimidating guy, with the furrowed brows and scar over his eye, but he was a lot more awkward than one would expect. âWell,â you catch his attention. âIâm working there again tomorrow night if you want to come give it to me in person.â
December is when youâre sparing hopeful glances at the door every time the bell chimes.
âExpecting someone?â Shakky teases, coming behind the bar and pouring herself a glass.
âSomething like that,â you mutter before making your way past her to attend to someone in the corner of the room. Itâs the same person from around two weeks ago- heâs louder this time, but there were also less customers tonight and no one seems to be complaining any so you let it slide. âYes? How may I hELP-?!â
What you canât let slide is how he forcefully grabs your wrist and essentially drags your body to lean over the table. âAh, damn,â youâre used to drunks, not idiots. He has a permanent grin plastered over his lips and his grip on your wrist tightens. âI canât let go! Guess we must be soulmates!â
There is no explaining the disgust that washes over your face. âSir, Iâm asking you politely to let go.â
Everyone who goes here knows that itâs simply an unwritten rule to not fight unless you wanted to be beaten half to death. Not by you- dear lord no- Shakky on the other hand was ruthless and youâd never want to end up on the other side of her fist.
Ever.
âHuh?â He slurs, âdidnât I just tell you that I canât let go?â
âIâm telling you-â before youâre able to get anymore words out another hand wraps around the older manâs wrist, successfully shutting you up. For a second, the dread of it being one of his friends rises, but itâs quickly crushed by the voice that follows.
âIâm sure youâre not deaf. She said let go.â
The bar is dead silent for a few seconds before the man roughly releases his grip on your arm. A bit gentler wouldâve been nice, you internally grumble, rubbing the sore area.
âHey there, could I ask exactly what you were trying to do with my precious barkeep?â Your boss comes over, leaning against the table. She gives you a wink and a slight nudge of her head towards the break room and you donât think twice before leaving the scene, your green haired friend following close behind.
âIs your wrist alright?â He questions as soon as the door closes. âMy bad for being late, I got held back by some work Franky wanted done.â
His hand reaches out to gently hold your wrist and a spark of electricity shocks you both. Usually, your first instinct would be to flinch and pull away, but he has a firm grip.
âUhm,â you glance down, then back up at him. âItâll probably bruise tomorrow but itâs nothing to worry too much about...â
His face is unreadable, and after a couple seconds his ears turn a faint shade of red. âI canât let go.â
You chuckle at his poor attempt of a joke. âCâmon now, we just went through this.â You lift your free hand to pry his fingers off your wrist only to feel the same electric shock as earlier. It doesnât hurt, only stinging enough to really initially surprise anyone, but you quickly realize he wasnât trying to pull your leg.
Oh.
âSo,â he awkwardly lifts his other hand. âI brought your umbrella.â
hi! i was wondering if i could request some zoro fluff headcannons? like he has a super huge crush on reader and heâs an awkward mess hehe
Awkward Crush; Headcanons
Character; Zoro
Fluffy headcanons coming right up, Anon! You guys really love this man, huh?
Thereâs just a small part of him that thinks, maybe, just maybe, if he stayed away from you long enough that it would allow his heart some rest.Â
Easier said than done.
It works for a while, a couple hours to be exact. He dodges you when youâre going in the same direction, avoids eye contact when you do pass one another, and pretends to (and then actually does) fall asleep, but caves the moment youâre calling for his name.
He feels like a dumb kid going through his first crush
Honestly, that ainât even really far off
âThis man just makes it so obvious that heâs crushing on you but wonât act on anything, itâs kinda pathetic.â - Nami, probably
Heâs trying so hard to keep it cool, down-low, making sure you donât notice
But the moment you call his name he just jolts
âZoro, could you help me carry this?â
Act normal, heâll try to play off his embarrassment with sarcasm, âwhat, you canât even lift something like this?â
âI can, I just wanted an excuse to talk to you more.â
Abort, abort, abort!
His ears flare up red and heâs just scrunching his face trying to keep cool.
You know he likes you, but itâs just too funny to see him riled up like this that it wants to make you continue
So you make it an effort to just mess with him more. Because itâs fun.
âWhat are you doing?â
âI wanted to take a nap. Canât I?â
Heâs looking away, covering his mouth, basically just glaring at nothing to keep the smile down. âSuit yourself.â
Gods, he wants to kiss you so bad.
Man becomes like three times as salty whenever Sanji approaches you
Robin and Nami will never give him a break. One is making fun of his love life and the other wonât stop trying to give advice.
Donât tell them he actually lowkey pays attention.
He can never find a time to tell you how he feels, really.
Was the timing good? Maybe heâs in over his head. What if you didnât like him back?
Itâs not like heâs ever told anyone his feelings before- he doesnât know what heâs doing.
When he does find the courage to confess [after days of deliberation and failed attempts] he comes to you as he is.
With a shyness he shares only with you, his gaze averted as he offers you his heart and you canât help but smile, âTook you long enough, silly. Come here.âÂ
Hello Reiu and Hamfie! I hope you both are doing well. First, do you have rules or a guideline for requests? About what you write or not, what characters and how many, in what form (hcs, one shots, etc)...
Second, may I request Ace, Sabo and Law being saved by a mermaid? And until they need to leave again they spend some time together and the boys can't avoid falling for the reader?
Thank you so much! Welcome back!
Rescued by a Mermaid; Headcanons
Characters; Ace, Sabo, Law
hello! weâre doing good, thank you for asking! and yes, we do have rules and guidelines, theyâve been rewritten and pinned by the time this is posted! Sorry for the long wait on this one we had a little bit of trouble with ideas ;Â ;
ACEÂ â
The heavens had sent you an angel, only to let him drown.
Perhaps it was quite bold of you to leave the safety of the sea in the first place, but your curiosity had gotten the better of you. Of this man and his strange craft, powered by what you can only assume to have been his devil fruit. A peek wouldnât hurt, right?
Well it definitely didnât hurt you, but it did scare him.
Watching him tumble off his one man raft, there is a sense of urgency- fear. The realization that he could not swim;Â
But you can.
Your first meeting was perhaps not the best, but Ace laughs it off, unbothered by the occurrence.
Perhaps it is your worry that keeps you around at first- he did almost drown after all. It would be good to keep an eye on him...
Ace isnât very against the idea, heâs aware of how much it weighs against your conscious and if it would make you feel better to travel with him for a while- there really was no harm in the company.
You learn very quickly just how much mischief this man gets up to and in to.
Honestly, youâve experienced- and its barely been a week.Â
From the insane encounters with the marines to cocky pirates thinking they could take on Fire Fist Ace of all people- there is never truly a dull day when youâre by his side.Â
Speaking to him though, is probably your favourite thing to do.Â
Swimming alongside his Striker, you have a great many conversations- be it about his many adventures across the New World, to his current mission and hunt, Ace is full of surprises.
Perhaps the most surprising of them all is when night hits and he camps out by the beach. Thereâs something incredibly sober about the way he looks under the firelight and for the first time, you really take a moment to admire his features.
Heâs not simply just loud and rowdy, but neither is he cold and calculating like an action movie Casanova; Ace isnât like that.Â
You think he has a greater hold on you than you do on him- but youâre sorely mistaken.Â
Even when you eventually parts ways and he leaves you with a blinding smile, equivalent only to the sun, you know not the impact you have left in his bleeding heart.
But the sea calls for her sailors and he had a mission to see through.
Youâd never know, as he left you with his vivre card, how much he wouldâve loved to see you once more.
âWill you visit me?â
âOf course! Itâs a promise.âÂ
SABOÂ â
Sabo was perhaps just a bit too over-confident in his abilities, and a little too forgetful in the fact that he no longer had the ability to swim.
Youâre very much not pleased when battleships start sailing in your direction and even less pleased when people start falling into the water left and right. Thankfully, all of them simply swim back up to the surface rather quickly, all except for one.
Thereâs no reason for you to save him- after all, he was part of the ruckus. Yet even with that train of thought, you find yourself moving towards him, cradling him in your embrace before dragging him to the surface.Â
Some air would do him some good.Â
To be frank you were ready to give him a piece of your mind once he started waking up- but holy shit was he pretty.Â
Your irritation was swallowed temporarily to be replaced with concern when he starts coughing. The poor thing did almost drown, but that didnât excuse him from disturbing your peaceful day.
He takes your words quite well, offering a sheepish smile in apology and a well overdue introduction.
A revolutionary? And the chief of staff at that?
Perhaps if youâd been in the mood, you mightâve made some snide remark over his careless demeanor, but you were much too intrigued by this new found knowledge.
Youâd eventually get him back- after all, you had made the executive decision to come with him, if only for a while.Â
He agrees to let you come with him on the condition youâd stay away from anything dangerous and in turn keep him out of trouble [like drowning].Â
Itâs a risk by all means- this is a classified mission, but some detours and shortcuts can be advantageous.Â
Like your company for example.Â
Not a day goes by without some witty banter or the other.
In his eyes, youâre seem so awestruck by every story he shares, particularly enamored by the tales of his youth alongside his brothers.Â
Having you around is like a breath of fresh air while his mind is drowning in the sea.
Itâs difficult to say goodbye- when he has to meet up with the others upon the completion of his mission. It wouldnât be right to drag you into their affairs and heâd rather you not be directly involved if he can help it.Â
But he makes it clear heâll be back, you know heâd never lie. Not with that stupid smile on his face.Â
âWait for me!â
âJust try not to drown until then.â
Itâs so cheesy, the smile he gives you, âI wouldnât mind drowning if it means youâll be there to save me again.âÂ
You 100% drench him for that one.Â
LAW â
Youâre certainly not too trusting of humans, but curiosity has always overweighed that fear.
Itâs stormy the day you decide to swim out of your little bubble and explore the endless depths of the sea, and perhaps also very fortunate. Even in the raging storm you could hear the shouts of people, possibly pirates, and their rapid footsteps as they tried to clear their... vessel from tipping over.
âCaptain!â Even through the heavy rain and roaring waves you could hear members of the crew call out, followed by a loud crash as body meets water.
The heart pirates are more than shocked when their captain resurfaces not even moments later, arm swung over another personâs shoulder and coughing out large amounts of water
Heâs grateful for the help but he sure wasnât expecting you to ask to get on the ship
âThis is your pirate ship, right? Can I hitch a ride?â
Can you what now
Shachi and Penguin are more than delighted to say yes for Law
Youâre just a little too curious for your own good, asking about everything from what their ship was actually called- you learn itâs a submarine called the Polar Tang- and very quickly make friends with Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin. Jean Bart scares you just a bit.
And of course making friends with those three means making friends with Law, whether he wants to or not
Heâs a lil annoyed at first
Why does everyone insist on treating his sub like it was their home
But he warms up to you easily- considering how much time heâs spent with Luffy this was nothing
He likes spending time with you during his breaks. Youâve traveled plenty despite your caution of humans, and thereâs a great deal of stories to tell.
âI almost got eaten, you know!â
âMaybe if you werenât so reckless you wouldnât have.â
Heâs never thought to find banter fun before (thatâs a lie, he just wonât accept it) but it sure is nice to talk to you.
When time comes for you to leave he doesnât ask you to stay- he doesnât tell you how he likes your company or how heâd like to spend more time with you.
He simply leans over the railing of the sub along with everyone else, âYouâre welcomed back anytime.â
It would not be a lie to say that this AU is what made us want to get back into writing. We also had⌠way too much fun writing Zoros. Under the cut because itâs a long one, beware!
KILLERÂ â
Youâre less than thrilled when the person that gets assigned to keep you safe is literally someone named âKillerâ
Thankfully, you learn the same day that he was pretty much a sweetheart, contrast to his name.
You also learn much later on that he fits his name (and the title that people give him) very well.
Never judge a book by itâs cover, as they say.
Quiet, and itâs often times unnerving to not be able to read his emotions with the helmet covering his face, but we can work on that.
Outside of being your bodyguard, Killerâs helpful in just about everything. He helps you carry your items, even when you insist itâs okay, is quite knowledgeable and helps with work and projects whenever the occasion arises, and even cooks.
He isnât anti-social but finds it a bit hard to be more casual with you considering the fact that youâre his boss. Youâll need to initiate most conversations.
âI said I donât need to head to bed yet, itâs only 2:00 am!â
Sometimes he gets an attitude out of nowhere like heâs more of your mom than a bodyguard.
âOnly two, huh?â You can often imagine how heâs reacting even when you canât see his face.
Itâs amusing when you make up a game to guess facial expressions.
He always wins, of course, and youâd swear heâs lying every time.
Perhaps saying that you were curious about your bodyguard was a little bit of an understatement.
And no, it surprisingly, was not his name.
Well, maybe just a little.
âItâs my duty to protect you,â heâs said that on multiple occasions, despite the fact that you two barely know each other. You understand, of course, that this was his job; what you didnât understand was how heâd be willing to give his life for you, but not take off his mask.
âYou really wonât take it off? Even just for a few seconds?â
âIâm sorry,â he sounded genuinely apologetic. âIt makes me anxious when I take it off in front of others.â
With a sigh, you reluctantly stopped bothering him about it. Yeah, you were curious, but you werenât willing to pry further after heâs explicitly said no. Though, it seems with the situation youâre currently in prying wasnât exactly needed.
âPardon me,â he whispers, lifting you up into his arms as bullets fly through the air. One of them gets the side of his head which nearly sends you into a panic, but thankfully you quickly realize it had only grazed his helmetâs latch.
âKiller-â you attempt to check for wounds as soon as he finds a safe space for you to hide but immediately silence yourself when you realize that his helmet was very much cracking and falling apart. With break-neck speed, you turn your head around, earning a confused sound from the male which stops the moment you hear the head protection completely break and fall to the floor with a heavy thump.
âUhm,â you furrow your eyebrows, unsure of how youâre going to check for wounds now. So instead, you reach your hand up to your own head and gesture around the area he was hit. âYour head, are you alright? Are you bleeding anywhere?â
Heâs silent for a while, and you could only guess he was checking himself. âIâm fine,â the blonde finally mumbles after a while. âWhy arenât you looking at me?â
âBecause you feel uncomfortable showing your face around people, right? So I wonât look. I didnât see anything, either.â
Thereâs silence for a little while, and in that time youâre left wondering if the people chasing you have given up by now. âItâs alright,â he finally says, perhaps a bit teasingly. âI think we have more pressing things to worry about right now.â
Well, to keep things short, you like the color blue a lot more now.
MIHAWKÂ â
Maybe it was the fact that he towered over you at 6 foot 6, or maybe itâs because his eyes seemed to stare right through your soul, but this man was the definition of intimidating
The epitome of a professional.
Itâs almost unfair how good he looks, really serving us the tall, dark and handsome as a full course meal.
In all seriousness though, it takes some time to get used to him and get a proper read on how he expresses himself. Mihawk reacts very subtly when he does, but being in his company teaches you the meaning behind the faintest quirk of his lips to the slightest curve of his brow. Heâs not the most expressive, but learning these cues makes a whole world of a difference in understanding what exactly he might be feeling in that moment.Â
Surprisingly very cheeky.
Buying him expensive, quality liquor tends to curry his favor. Wines especially. Perhaps he might even ask you to join him for a drink!
Heâs good at his job- maybe a little too good. To the point he might even purposefully stir trouble just to have something to do. Heâs a real fire starter when heâs bored and you unfortunately [or perhaps fortunately] have front row seats to the show.Â
Quieter moments are hard to find in this hectic life, but he does like to read in that time. Heâs a very well-read guy- even if heâs not the most chatty, heâll definitely give you a solid synopsis of the book if youâre interested in reading it as well. Might even offer to discuss the book together once youâre done reading it.
Built incredibly different because manâs really knows how to get under your skin if heâs teasing you.Â
Bastard [affectionate].Â
Your protector was definitely intimidating, that was for sure. If his height wasnât enough to scare off people who were trying to hurt you, then his piercing, hawk-like eyes surely did the trick.
If it werenât for the fact that he was actually quite kind and polite, you would have more than once mistaken him to be upset at you.
âMihawk-â
âShh,â he quickly silences you, pressing your bodies closer to the side of the building.
âNo, no I donât think I can be silent right now when youâre three centimeters in front of my face!â You want to say that, but you know better than to talk back to this man. And given your position, you donât think you trust yourself enough to not say something completely stupid.
Still, 'this is way too close!â
You donât fancy being pulled into a dark alley and pressed up against the wall without consent, especially when he wonât even tell you whatâs wrong. There was no way he was doing this just because, you knew better than anyone else whoâs worked alongside him this man was as professional as it got, but being told to be quiet isnât very reassuring.
You had tried a few times to get a glimpse at exactly what he was looking at, though with his arm basically caging you in you werenât really able to see anything other than the fabric of his sleeve.
Finally, after minutes of what seemed like hours, he finally backs away, eyes slowly making their way to your form with a raised brow and you swear- you swear, you could see him quirk the corners of his lips.
âAre you alright?â
'No, Mihawk,â you cover your face with your hands, nodding. 'No Iâm not.â
ZORO â
This isnât a situation you had expected your life to turn in but at least you had a lax bodyguard, who seemed more like a friend if anything, around at all times to keep you safe.
Heâs a smooth operator when it comes to his line of work. From his appearance to his capacity to handle and get you out of a situation, Zoroâs the man.Â
The absolute best when it comes to unhinged banter. You donât really need to watch what you say with him and the petty arguments do add spice to even the worst of situations
Will absolutely 100% refuse to drink while on the clock. Heâll complain that he needs one, but will never actually go get one even with your permission.
Since your relationship is quite relaxed, he can be quite sly with his words sometimes and it takes a moment to set in because holy shit what did he say???Â
Will lug you around like a sack of potatoes if need be.Â
The amount of concern and raw emotion that just spills out of this man when he finds you after getting separated. Itâs like a crumbling dam at this point- he cares a lot and is more than willing to put his life on the line if it means you get out of there safely.Â
Incredibly good listener, his advice can be...interesting, but you can always rely on him to lend an ear.
Will remember obscure things youâve talked about once or twice and bring it up if you ever pass by a store or a billboard with said thing on it. Might even get something as a gift for you simply because he felt like it.Â
You are his living gps, please help this man.Â
Zoro was the perfect bodyguard- almost- perfect.
He was handsome and intimidating at the same time, yet easy to get along with. You appreciated the fact that he wasnât so formal despite the fact that he was supposed to be protecting you- it made it easy for you to get along with one another and more importantly, relax. When youâre constantly being pursued by people it helped to not be constantly on edge.
Now, his flaw?
âRUN BACK, I SAID RUN BACK!â
âHUH, WHICH WAY IS BACK?!â
âWH-â a confused grunt escapes your throat, the two of you obviously not caring if the people chasing after you heard. With how many wrong turns heâs taken you were certain heâs unintentionally lost them by now. What does he mean which way is âbackâ?! Back is back! âJust turn around, dammi- NOT ALL THE WAY AROUND!â
âThis fool just spun a full three-sixty!â
Directions, perhaps the only enemy on earth that could stand up to this man.
You werenât prepared for a shootout happening today in the middle of the street, but then again, no one is- besides Zoro. Before the first shot even rang out the male had swept you up into his arms and ran; youâve always wondered how is it that even with one impaired eye he seemed to know exactly what was going around him at all times.
But that wasnât important right now.
The sounds of shouting and shoes hitting against concrete had stopped long ago. The new problem is that now you were lost and he refused to put you down just in case they came back again, but also didnât know his left from his right even if it would save his life.
âZoro, I said put me down!â
âAnd I said no!â
âYouâve been running for half an hour, weâre in the middle of nowhere- PUT ME DOWN!â
We have returned after our own rather ironic 3D2Y time skip!
Both of us have grown and changed a lot but One Piece continues to be a place of great comfort and we have now swan dived rather violently back into its depths :âDÂ
Itâs so incredible to see that people still enjoy our content even after years of inactivity and holy shit there are 750 of you now?? Thank you so much for sticking around so long <3 <3Â
We are very proud to announce the revival of floof-headcanons and that we will once again be creating [ definitely cursed ] content! Since itâs been so long itâll be a bit difficult to get back into the groove of things, but please feel free to send in asks to help us!
We look forward to once again setting sail with you all!
You're such a talented writer, really! And I love your works. They make me smile when reading em. xoxo Anyway, since yours are mostly fluffy imagines and scenarios, I was wondering if you accept angst with happy ending request?
Hey there, Anon! Your words mean a whole lot to us, thank you!
Weâre really, really, sorry! I know we put the tagline as âOpenâ but itâs just cause we forgot to change it. Weâre both still very much giant OP nerds, though donât exactly keep up with the blog anymore mostly due to academic reasons and timezone issues.
To answer your question, however: yes we do!
though we have no clue when weâll be able to write again, sincerest apologies!
I saw box Open and I exploded. So I was thinking if you could do an scenario of Ace and his S/o (fem). Like them being best friends so he's not shy with she,but they like each others. One day they were joking and his So says something "I love you" (in a playful way) and so he thinks it's the best moment to say what he feels, but S/o says she was just joking, so both of them turned into a red flustered mess but in the end they knew they love each other. Thaaaanks
Under the cut!
Ace and S/o accidentally confessing Scenario
Laughter vibrates through the air, your hair blowing with the wind and getting strands into your face, blocking part of your vision. Ace laughs harder, one hand grasping to the railings to support his balance as the other clutches his stomach to suppress the pain.
âGeez, Ace!â You pout, pursing out your lips and desperately moving strands of hair behind your ear and out of your face. Your stupid freckled friend had come up behind you just a few moments ago, scaring the daylights out of you and nearly caused you to slip and fall right into the ocean. Apparently he thought that was the funniest thing ever because its been two minutes and he still hadnât stopped laughing yet.
âKeep laughing over there, flame brains, next time Iâll be the one scaring you, and once you fall into the ocean Iâm not helping you out!â The male tries holding back his laughter, wiping away a tear that formed in the corner of his eyes.
âS-Sorry, (Name)âpftt⌠I just didnât expect you toââ He couldnât even recollect himself properly enough to apologize, oh my god.
Ace gives it a few more solid attempts, each one of them failing over and over again, and eventually even you couldnât stay mad at him anymore, breaking out into a smile and letting out a few stifles yourself.
âGosh,â your grin, looking at your freckled friend who has finally managed to recollect himself, inhaling and exhaling solid breathes just to get back to composure. âHave you had your fun yet? I love you and all, Ace, but sometimes I really wish I could just knock you overboard like how pops did the first few weeks you were here.â
âHuh?â He pauses completely this time, blinking blankly your direction.
Did I say something weird?
Slowly, ever so slightly, his face blooms a soft color of red. You think back on your words, mouth eventually falling agape. It was accidental, and you hadnât meant it as a proper confession, but it seemed like Ace, had in fact, did.
âOh,â was all you manage to get out. Your cheeks following in the footsteps of his and vibrantly turning red. âUhm, so, uhâabout thatâŚâ You like him, oh you definitely like him, but you never expected him to take that out of all things as a confession!
âSo,â He starts, eyes darting everywhere but you, now. âI,â he awkwardly clears his throat, looking at you again and sucks up a breath, still not able to get the words he wanted to say out.
You smile faintly, creeping a hand over to his, the boy nearly setting aflame at the sudden contact of your hand wrapping around his. A few moments of silence pass like this, watching the rest of the crew running and talking across the deck of the Moby Dick, and deciding to take the next move, Ace carefully intertwines your fingers together.
Hey hey!! Soo... could you do Ichiji headcanons of like... an arranged marriage where heâs like âfuck thisâ but then ends up falling in love? And the s/o is just like... loud-ish and cheery and doesnât seem to take much seriously, but can be chill too. Ay thanks!!!
I was reading the latest OP chapter and couldnât take writing this seriously anymore after seeing Ichijiâs eyes flashâ
Ichiji arranged marriage Headcanons
Gods, okay, he absolutely hates you in the beginning
Youâre loud, youâre brash, you never take what he says seriously, youâre extremely annoying in every single way, and he hates you
However, he goes through with the marriage anyways for the Germa, and is forced to get to know you, despite not wanting to. After all, heâs your husband now, he doesnât really have a choice.
Well he does, but you keep bothering and following him around even when heâs making threats to beat your face in and kill you. Sadly he canât because you and your family are in alliance with the Germa now and if he kills you, well, that alliance is through as well.
If anything, heâs more surprised you arenât complaining about the marriage like he thought someone of your personality would. No, except here you are trying to actually get to know him.
Obviously Ichiji doesnât want anything to do with you, but he spots you often getting along with his other siblings, extremely surprising, and with you bugging him all the time he eventually starts noticing all of your better qualities.
How even though youâre annoyingly persistent, you donât let what others say to you get you down, how youâre always cheery and outgoing, and how you have your moments where you can take situations seriously, contrast to your usual behavior.
He sorta just, reallllly slowly falls for you, and heâs just ridiculously good at hiding it behind his [ Dick Mask ] though Reiju picks up on it either way, being the sharp person she is.
Being the older sibling she is, she teases the hell outta him, and he tries to make it seem like it isnât getting to him, but the moment you show up Reijuâs teasing increases tenfold and heâs just about ready to strangle her before youâre right in front of him and Reiju is nowhere to be seen.
He never directly says he likes you, but you eventually start picking up on his subtle behavior, like how he isnât pushing you away anymore, how he acknowledges what you say by patting your head, how when youâre doing something stupid, like tripping over your feet, heâs there to stop you.
Oh boy, and once you call him out on these things he regrets ever acting nice to you because not only is Reiju in on it now, but so are his two younger brothers.
âI swear to god one day Iâm gonna kill you.â âYeah, yeah, love you, too Sparking Red.â
well i also laugh or talk during my sleep sometimes so i guess i could do it to distress ace and take the sheets mwahahahaha ... tho thing is that happens subconsciously
I honestly imagine him just snoring through the whole thing without even noticing that youâre laughing or talking in your sleep; unless you suddenly start snorting really loudly and somehow manage to wake him up. I mean Ace snores a lot too so Iâm pretty sure all the sleep talking and laughing sorta get drowned out by him, lol
Iâm the one who steals the sheets and traps my partner in bed so.... i guess Iâm going to have an all out fight if I sleep on the same bed as Ace does
My money is on you winning, Anon, donât let me down, take those sheets like a champ!â( シă シ)Ů ĚĚ
could i have some headcanons on what kind of romantic gestures ace and sabo would do?
Of course you can!
Romantic Gestures Headcanons
Portgas D Ace
Aceâs idea of romantic gestures include a lot of hugging or cuddling
Heâs a big cuddler, and does it every chance he gets, even if itâs to the point of annoying is s/o
Holding hands is another one, he does this most often when going to town to buy supplies or to eat
Most of the time itâs him grabbing your hand to dash after dining, though he also has a habit of just holding hands in general and swinging them around
Maybe a few times heâll put his hand around his s/oâs waist though thatâs usually in a most dangerous situation
Outside of just physical romantic gestures, Ace would also just go around bragging to everybody about how great his s/o is, just like he does with Luffy
Sabo
Sabo on the other hand really shows most of his romantic gestures to his s/o by kissing
And he kisses them everywhere cheeks, forehead, nose, chin, hands, lip, he takes every opportunity he gets, bonus points if he finds out his s/o is ticklish and takes full advantage of it
He also feels almost 0 shame doing this out in public, so his s/o is constantly having to tell him to stop and focus on their mission
Something important Sabo thinks is necessary would be trying to show interest in whatever his s/o is interested in, even if it isnât in his range of preference
And whilst fighting, he wouldnât dote on his s/o too much, he knows they can handle themselves and respects that they donât need to be saved or looked after 24/7
