Exercise 8 Traveling

My last holiday was in Italy. I was here in the summer holidays with my parents, brother and my friend. We went 2.5 weeks to a campsite close to a disco where we went every night with friends who were also with me at the same campsite. We went by car and I went back by plane with my boyfriend because we went home a little earlier than my parents and my brother. it was nice and warm in Italy and had a delicious meal in different restaurants. I have it with lots of friends to go back again because we have had a great time on holiday and enjoyed the nice weather. I hope that I get my parents to go to the campsite one more time. That would be very nice as the last year that I'm still going.

Exercise 7 My Internship

My past internship was a lot of fun. I did an internship at the jeroen bosch hospital in s'Hertogenbosch and I am very happy here. I came out well with my planning and the exercises went smoothly. I have not finished my internship yet, I have a few weeks to go but everything is going well and I have very good guidance. I teach conversations with patients and learn a lot in the field of communication and acting on a specific situation. What I still find difficult in this internship is taking responsibility because this is a very important thing within the hospital. I advise everyone to do this internship and also recommend that you have to stand up for yourself and show initiative. then you will complete the internship sufficiently because these points are very important in the hospital.

Healthcare in India

Healthcare Public means that they have a few hospitals and a few doctors. Because they have that they have access to healthcare. A hospital with a doctor is most of the time far away, you have to travel a long time to come at a hospital. And when you arrive you have to wait a really long time to see a doctor. The most of the people don’t have enough money to went to a doctor privately so the wait on the streets. At the poor villages the doctors don’t have any kind of formal training. The doctors don’t need papers to set up an clinic. My opinion about this subject: I find it very bad that there are so few good clinics and doctors in India. everyone is equal whether you are poor or rich. This is hard for me, I personally feel that everyone has the right to good care and that good care is needed close to home. If I am allowed to change something in India this would be the first thing I start with because it really can not go on. I also do not think it is possible that doctors can set up a clinic without valid papers.

My internship (exercise 2)

I am very lucky with my internship, I am going to do an internship in the Jeroen Bosch hospital in s'Hertogenbosch at an operation department. I am going to learn a lot of things there and I can work out my assignments well here. I will meet many different patients in the department. the first few weeks in the department are super good and I have learned a lot in this internship period. however, it is very far away for me. I go first with the scooter and then a long time with the train but I am certainly do it. I think my fellow students would also like this internship so that they know or the hospital is something for them and or they want to choose this in the third year as a sector.

My favorite things (exercise 1)

She is my best friend for 6 years. We have been through a lot together and always have fun together. 

This is my cat Gijs, he is just 2 years old and is very important to me. We got Gijs when my other cat died and that’s why Gijs really helped me out of that difficult time. 

This is my dog rosco, he is 11 years old and I got rosco from my 6th birthday. Rosco is a very sweet dog who has a special place in my heart because he is always with me when I am home.

I always enjoy going out with my girlfriends, walking together with the dogs or shopping. We do this often after school and go get some dinner together!
