I love that both the Kagemori and the Tadera clans are offshots from Higashi village, yet one of them is a big family with a huge mansion, serious capital (several warehouses, stocks in weapons or even several companies, I am unsure on the specifics), ties to organized crime, a private army and several philantropic projects (ie a bunch of orphanages to feed the private army psssh).

Meanwhile the Tadera clan is a guy in flipflops, who has to room it with his coworker because his extradimensional garden shed is hostile to human life, his deadbeat missing weeb dad, and a literal child.

Ryland ‘the beanbag is lava!!’ Grace was absolutely around for the loomband craze. He’s telling his students to stop doing those 3AM challenges because they keep falling asleep in his class. He’s putting on low-quality homemade internet videos about the electromagnetic spectrum. He surprises his class with an science themed escape-room building assignment when that escape room craze was going around

I think Rocky, the engineer who weaved 5 km of chain, would be amazing at braiding. Grace makes a joke about how when he woke up from his coma his hair had grown so long that he could braid it. Rocky asks what that word means.

Soon Rocky’s the one showing off his perfect xenonite braid patterns to Grace, who’s still clumsily trying to weave his still-too-short hair.

I bet Rocky ends up unintentionally making a fashion trend for celebratory clothing when he goes back to Erid

So on Erid, Grace is constantly listening to Eridian, teaching in Eridian and so on, I think at one point he’d be eating a me-burger realise that sometimes he thinks in Eridian too.

It gets so frequent that he forgets that his vocal chords can’t physically speak the language and makes the most ungodly wheezing noise in front of Rocky, who makes fun of him for weeks

Look I’m no expert on Eridian biology but it’d be heartbreaking if the radiation sickness went into a latent period for some of the crew members. Rocky watching one of the scientists get their energy back and rushing around to check on all their equipment, thinking that they’re getting better and practically wailing in relief, only for them to later collapse against the strings of the ship, a dissonant chord. Leaving Rocky alone to keep sole vigil for the bodies that will never wake up.

I think Grace would speak softly all the time by the time he lives on Erid because Rocky and all the other Eridians can hear him no matter what volume he speaks at. I think one day he shouts in surprise when one of his students sneaks up on him after class and his voice cracks really embarrassingly because he hasn’t raised his voice above 70 decibels for 5 years

Y'know something people haven't really been talking about with SF/DAWTDE is Wifies' own involvement (within the meta of the ARG).

Because like, canonically, Avery only makes his second video because he saw Wifies' Searching video. But the King in Yellow always knew that Avery would come back.

So Avery only came back because of Wifies.

But the King in Yellow knew that Avery would come back.

Meaning that the King knew that Wifies was going to make that video. Wifies is not just an impartial narrator, telling the story. He's a part of the story. He is known by the King in Yellow, who's plan could not have continued without him.

Not to mention, D3rlord3 only says those google drive codes in chat because he knew that Wifies would find them, post another video, and Avery would see it. Meaning D3rlord3 also knew of Wifies and Wifies was part of HIS plan. He knew that Wifies would get out his final message to Avery in a place where Avery could see it.

Idk I just find that interesting. Like in the meta sense, by creating a video, it was Wifies that nearly doomed reality, Avery, and Derek. But it was also Wifies that provided Derek and Avery with closure.

Wifies is just as much a character in this story as he is the creator of it.
