Your human Rocky is AWESOME SAUCE and I feel like he'd be a great singer. I was wondering if you have any headcanons about him as a human?

He is a pretty good singer! The life of the party too! He's definitely the extrovert of the couple, who drags Adrian out to meet new people and have fun. Some other silly tidbits I've thought of is that his favorite animals are whales because he loves their song and that they're very intelligent and compassionate. He's also very fond of the ocean/sailing in general too, as he was stationed on an aircraft carrier when he was a navy mechanic/engineer. He's also great with kids, but he has a bit of a sailor's tongue so he worries a lot about being a bad influence on them. That's all I can really think about right now that I'm okay with revealing, there's other details of he and Adrian's lives that are gonna come up in some other comics !

Species swap AU but it's just Rocky, eridian or human, still being protective of his alien best friend Grace, who- human or eridian, still acts like a clumsy wet cat

Little detail ramblings under the cut!!

Human Rocky's dialogue here: But I will hunt everyone down if someone even dares attempt to touch Grace in his sleep.

That dialogue was very inspired by @tineyincubus 's backstory for their Eridian Grace!! Where he was still forced onto the mission, but instead of drugging- they fr just brought him on board in his sleep.

I'd like to think after Human Rocky learns about this- when they got to Earth, despite being on the verge of dying- he'd threatened every single person he meets in whatever facility he gets taken to- to not EVER leave Eridian Grace alone with any type of scientist. Human Rocky absolutely NEEDS to make sure nobody is experimenting on his best friend- ESPECIALLY when they find out Grace can not wake himself up like Humans

I also feel like Human Adrian would also act as a body guard despite not really knowing the full story and still processing that the love of their life came back from the dead and aliens exist- once they see Eridian Grace in his big old hamster ball and utter out small worried chirps while pointing at a sleeping sick Rocky- Human Adrian absolutely gives in and everybody else will have to go through an entire ahh interrogation if ever they want to communicate with Eridian Grace

Conclusion: Rocky and Grace are best friends anytime, anywhere

How would Human!Rocky and Adrian react to Eridian!Simon? Is the blood ocean basically an acid that corroded Eridian!Simon's carapace?

Adrian and Rocky are always willing to help someone in need and Rocky can tell that Grace enjoys his company a lot, so a friend of Grace is a friend of theirs. However, "Butcher" is very quiet an standoffish, only really speaking when necessary/in private with Grace in their language, so they try to respect his boundaries. Maybe Butcher will learn to open up eventually though! I like to think he's very fond of Goose.

I think that the ocean would've been whatever the equivalent of blood is for Eridians, so something very corrosive/hot and unbearable for human flesh? But I'm not sure if there's any confirmation on what that might be and I do not know enough about science to make any claims as to what it COULD be lol

I fricken LOVE your swapped au and i have a werid question, who saved who? Becuase in the movie human Grace realizes that Rocky’s ship will be in trouble and goes to save Rocky so in the swapped au are the roles swapped or does Grace still saves Rocky

Grace still saves Rocky in my AU ! I think that because he has more experience in the microbiology field plus the benefits of an Eridian lifespan, he was able to keep a much closer eye on the Taumoeba and catch the leaks earlier. However he was still unable to stop it completely and decided he wanted to close the distance to save Rocky. Once Grace got to Rocky they decided to reinforce the beetles with xenonite + send them to Erid with Grace's instructions and return to Earth with whatever Astrophage they had left, because Grace feels that the top priority is for Rocky to return home to Adrian + his family.

And maybe pick up another passenger...
