Cadha, you find anyone that's bigger than you?
"Yeah, surprisingly! Thought the only ones bigger were thos' storm giants I hear about, but I met a pretty girl named Catalyst! She and I are mates."
So Cadha, are you looking into getting a mate?
"Ah... yes. I've never had a long term mate, as other hill giants don't stick around much... I hope someone likes me." Sounds like shes already got someone in mind.
open starter: Friendly Giant
The ground rumbles in a rythmic pattern, the shock with every footfall rattling windows and making picture frames fall off of walls. Over the hills of a previously peaceful village, a female hill giant peers down at the residents.
"Little folk!" She bellows, standing tall and muscular at the mouth of the road into the village. "Name is Cadha. I decided to make myself known to you, as I have set my camp up nearby. If y' need help with construction, transportation or other things, I'd be happy to loan my bigness. Also, I like visitors, so my camp is in the clearing to the north."
She smiles down at all the perplexed smallfolk, chuckling. "You are all very small and cute. Especially you, lady. I like your dress." Turning on her heel, she begins leaving the way she came. "Anyone who wants to chat, feel free to follow."
a new character to rp with!
Meet Cadha (meaning 'person from a steep place'), a hill giant who lives among the ranks of small folk. She's relatively simple-minded, like most giants, but is unfalteringly kind to those smaller than her, unlike most of her kin. She handles the smallfolk gently, and even helps them out with construction and harvesting if she's rewarded. She frequents a forest where the trees only manage to tower above her, disliking the openness of fields.

âTerribly nice of you to spare your time drinking with an old man.â The haggard old veteran said, giving a jolly chuckle. âNot many will drink with a hobgoblin, no less speak to one, but I suppose even the most unlikely things must be accounted for.â
He downs a bit more of his beer, a small amount of the liquid escaping, making a short-lived trip down his chin before being wiped away. âSo what inspired you to walk up to me, young man? Just felt like doing your good deed for the day?â
Geld wraps a firm, gloved hand around the handle of the longsword at his hip, drawing it from a scabbard and holding it low at his side. âDonât worry about the blade. One side is blunt. Took an oath of redemption.â
He pushes the front door open, taking in the sweet evening air and milling carefully to the nearest open grassy patch.

"Y-yeah, ya can say that..." The wolf chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck before downing his lemonade. "Believe me, mate. I uh...got lots to make up for and I thought this could help even if it's just a drink." Lex really wasn't much of a conversationalist but he figured he wanted to give it a shot. "Not many want to drink with ya? Why so? Ya seem pretty mellow to me."
"Wine-hued fur and whiskers, for a start. Likely doesn't help that I keep my armour on nearly all the time, but I feel quite naked without it." He rested his chin on the heel of his wrist, elbow on the table. "Perhaps its partially my fault. I do hardly talk to most folks who pass me by." He shoots a glance to Lex, smirking.
"What about you, then? I can't make this conversation all about this old hobgoblin's sad state."
"Me? Ooh shush, a rogue like me isn't really popular." He shrugged, looking down in shame. "People mostly want to flirt with me or try to kill me but it's usually the latter, heh. Believe me, I know how it feels. I feel naked without my blades or jacket on, heh."
He raised an eyebrow at that. Though this one was less macabre than he, he'd still faced the same consequences to his birth. How unfortunate.
"Blades? So you're a fighter, hm?" He said, taking another gulp. "I could use a spar to work off some pressure. Would you be alright with that?"
"Me?" He chuckled sheepishly, idly rubbing his neck. If this bloke was old that means his experience while Lex was young, what if he wasn't good enough?
"Sure, bruv. Been a bit since I fought with someone's intent to kill me." He chuckled sheepishly and brought out a hand for him to shake on. "My name's Lex by the way, what's yours?"
"Geld. A pleasure, Lex." He responds, narrowing his eyes in satisfaction. "Let's not waste time if you're up for the challenge. My sword arm can only ever get rustier." Geld chuckles, supporting his movement by leaning on the counter as he stands up.
He grabs his shoulder as he rotates it, a couple of his joint popping as he does. "We're taking this outside, yes?"

âŚOh dear. She doesnât find many people this upset in public very often. Padding theough her surroundingd, she strolls up to the stranger with a kind smile on her face, placing a hand on his shoulder to alert him to her persence, however gently.
âGreetings, young one. Are you alright?â She asks, giving a sympathetic smile to him. Her stance is relaxed and genuine, but confident in those white robes she wore.
This is one of those days where Lex just thinks about where he life ended up at. He got betrayed, nearly framed, left for dead, and even his own brother saw him nothing but just a bounty.
He just whimpered and quietly sobbed, tears running down his cheeks even his hoodie couldnât hide his sadness away. âHm?â He wiped his face after the stranger tapped him. âYeah, sorry, allergies are hard nowadays. U-umâŚâ He stood up. âS-sorry, Iâll just go and uhmâŚfind some medicineâŚâ
âNow, now, hun. There is no need to hide what you are feeling. I am here in solidarity with you, not to criticize that which I do not fully understand.â She comforts, folding her hands in front of her passively.
She sits down next to where he was, patting the seat next to her. âIf you wish to talk about it, I am here. But I think it best to let these emotions run their course.â
He looked back at her and sighed. âO-okayâŚâ He sat beside her and sighed, a pitiful whimper coming from him. âIâm just self reflectinâ, I followed a psychopaths ordeals and now Iâm deep in shit. I was loyal even when I thought her motives were shady but nope, I had a frigginâ conscious about the bloody murders and I get shot and left for dead by a fuckinâ weasel! Money and greed, she used my eagerness to her bloody disposal then she threw me away like garbage! Money and greed just took over and I thought we were fightinâ for somethinâ but nope, only to fill that bitchâs pockets!â
He covered his mouth after his outbursts, that was all waiting to let out, huh? âS-sorry, ma'am. I just didnât talk to anyone who isnât tryinâ to kill or flirt with me in a while, guess I forgot my mannersâŚâ
She listened patiently, sitting cross-legged on the bench, and smiled earnestly when he apologized. âI am not bothered in the slightest. You need not apologize, troubled one.â She soothes. She places a hand gently on his back, and rubs small circles on it, hoping to soothe his tension.
âI must say, in my 203 years among this earthâs peoples, Iâd be hard-pressed to conjure many memories of a more troublesome situation.â She says. âAre you still hunted? I may be able to offer you sanctuary from such a thing.â
âI mean Iâm not sure, I-I think so?â He sighed. âI donât know about that, ma'am. Trouble tends to come to me a lot and I hate to bring it to ya doorstep, hehâŚâ He wiped at his face. âPardon me but whatâs ya name? Gotta know the name of the woman whoâs tryinâ to help me.â He cracked a small smile.
âItâs Villi. Villi Peacewood.â She said, placing a hand on the back of his. Her features were wise, a bit weathered and tanned, head shaved bald and ears pointed like small knives.
âOnce, my monastery harbored a criminal. He knew his wrongdoings, and wished a better life for himself. We taught him the ways of peace, patience, meditation⌠however those he stole from still came to find and kill him. We reasoned with who we could, let them know of his reform⌠and the others, the many who could not accept his change were driven off with force.â She assured. âPeace is never synonymous with nonviolence. I know this, yet I opened a home for the needing and downtrodden anyways.â
She smiles at him. âMy doors are open to all- no matter the situation.â
âLex BriggsâŚâ He replied, scratching the back of his head.
âThatâs aâŚencouraginâ story, ma'am.â He rubbed against his snout and his tail wagged as he thought it over. âW-well, okay then. Iâll check it out if thatâs okay with ya? Then after that, I gotta get goinâ.â He added, a sheepish smile on his face.
"Very well. It is a good drive away, as it's just a small distance from the outskirts of town. It is well and hidden for the safety of our asylum seekers." The bald woman smiled, standing up from the bench.
"Follow me, young one." She said, strolling along to her car. It was a little beat-up, probably second-hand truck, and she opens the door for him.
"It may be a small bit cramped for you. My apologies." She said, still smiling softly.

âOnly burglars and vampires creep around after dark. Â So which are you?â A beckoning voice called from the shadows. From the dimness light of a street lamp, a horned figure could vaguely be seen... but not totally. //floralorcs, for any muse
âNeither.â The former theif replied quickly, happily munching on a chocolate bar while his fluffy tail wagged happily. âIâm just a bloke enjoyinâ the wonders of sweets!â Lex looked up at the figure. âWhat about ya? Ya look more shady than me, mate.â He mumbled.
@floralorcs
âMe? Shady? Oh, you wound me, darling.â The voice returned. Walking into the light, be could see that this person(?) was indeed horned. Long, twisted horns longer than the height of her head itself, poking out from a slicked-back short black haircut on top of her grey-blue skin and dark eyes.
âIâm just a simple demonchild of the abyss, you see. Looking for either my next lay, or another decent bar. You know, the typical degeneracies us Tieflings get up to.â âŚMan, is she ever chatty. âHow about you? You look different from all the humans around here.â
âMe? Hell, I donât know.â He laughed, taking another bite. He leaned forward, his large canine scarlet furred snout revealed in the light. âJust say Iâm a wolf, lady. Itâll be easier, I am just a drifter. I go my merry way and see what sweets I can come across.â He took one last gulp at the candy bar. âAnd right, Iâm impressed. This place ainât too bad, heh.â
âOh, good, so youâre not an Infernal. I would be terribly bored talking to one of those stuck-up types.â She said. She seemed to almost slink into the shadows themselves before suddenly appearing next to Lex, throwing an arm around Lexâs shoulders.
âYou seem interesting. So what do you say we have a night out, hm? I can tell youâve been alone a while.â She said, brushing off some dust from her tight-fitting leather jacket. âOh yes, and before I forget to ask, what is your name? Mine canât be spoken in a human tongue so you can just call me Amelie.â
âAn Internal? The bloody hell is-â He lets out a little yip in surprise as the woman appeared out of nowhere. âI mean, sure? Somethinâ to eat will be great right now and I have ya know that my social life is uhâŚvery healthy, yeah uh totally legit.â He gave a cutesy chuckle. âOooh, right. My nameâs Lex, Amelie. Pleasure to meet cha!â
âPleasureâs all mine.â She says, tousling the fuzz on his head and behind his ears before taking her arm off of him. She takes out an old-timey pipe and lights it, blowing a ring of sweet-smelling smoke off to the side.
âWell, I know a few different places around here. In the mood for diner food?â She asked, taking another draw of the pipe.
His fluffy tail began to wag at the mention of food. âYeah, of course. Always in the mood for food.â He smiled, placing the hoodie back over his head. âW-well, heh. Lead the way, ma'am and Iâll follow!â He stated, sheepishly fiddling with his fingers.
âOh, you wonât need to follow along.â She said simply. Standing next to him, her height would become evident. She stood near 6 foot 7, excluding the six or so inches her horns stood up. She was muscular, too. A broad chest, toned arms and muscular thighs accentuated by the tightness of her ripped jeans.
She placed a hand on his lower back, and the world whipped around them for a second. Suddenlt they were standing at a small, but surprisingly busy, diner.
Taking her hand off of his back, she gave a small, showy jazz-hands gesture. âTiefling magic.~â
He glared around at his new surroundings. âWhoa, hey.â He smiled widely, giving him a thumbs up. âNow thatâs frigginâ convenient, thanks!â He was about 6'9 or close to 7 feet. The clothes that Lex wore hid his cute chubby curvaceous body with his legs and thighs strong enough to crush at stone, he definitely needed it due to his crazy speed.
âNow thenâŚâ He stretched, his shirt being lifted on slightly to reveal some of his tum. âYa gonna pay for our meal or shall I?â
âNormally I would jump at the opportunity for a free meal,â She began, giving Lexâs exposed tum a single playful poke as she spoke, âbut since you seem like the type who likes a woman to take charge, Iâll pay for us.â
She walks up with him in tow, giving him a gentle nudge along with the back of her hand. She opens the door into the diner with a small bow and a flourish, smirking. âAfter you, monsieur.â She teases.
The tum jiggled just a bit, causing him to blush.âH-hey, how would ya know? I have a boyfriend and uhâŚtake chargeâŚ.â He grumbled, a complete stranger knew he would be lying.
âR-rightâŚâ He blushed darker under his hood and chuckled sheepishly. âT-thanksâŚâ He mumbled before walking in. âSmells nice, heh.â
"Is that so?" She says, chuckling. "Listen, if I could tell that you're a bottom from across a dimly lit street, I don't think you should bother trying to lie to me, mmkay sweetheart?" She teases, elbowing him a bit. It seems like she frequents this place, as the locals don't seem phased by her. Their gaze does linger on Lex a tad longer, but they go back to their food soon.
"What would you like?"
"Any and everyone lacking a good parental figure is permitted to look to me. Even if you are not lacking one, or are simply lonely, I will be here with a hug and a mug of tea or hot chocolate." The wood elf Villi says, smiling in her white draped robes.
