Welcome to my blog! My name’s Deniz, but I go by Denise (it sounds prettier) . I’m an Albanian girl who lives in a small town on the coast! I speak english, albanian and serbo-croatian fluently, but I’m currently learning italian, german and turkish! I love love love music, movies, daydreaming, learning about history, long walks, going to the beach, writing (Not to brag but I’m an award winning author), etc

I’m currently writing a book, but I like writing poetry more (you can check it out on my page), I mostly explore themes like longing, grief, or even just random things I think about on the daily.

I always say that it’s important for a person to know their history, which is why I absolutely love reading about the history of my town and my country.

My bday is June 18th and my fav season is summer☀️

I love wearing flowy dresses, off the shoulder tops, capris, polka dots, gold jewellery, and my style is mostly coastal.

My fav subjects are maths, english literature, albanian literature, geography and history.

I used to do ballet and volleyball, but now I’m thinking about starting tennis.

My mediterranean dream

And once I spend the rest of eternity

Under the lemon tree

Behind my house thats 1 minute away from the beach

I know I’ll be home, and hell, far out of reach

Ill spend my days eating summer fruits, cherry and peach

Pass the glasses of wine around the table,

there’s one for each.

I’ll call the neighbours over

And have their kid play with mine

While we watch a Turkish drama just to pass the time

I’ll make us all cocktails and garnish them with lime

As we admire Italy and its nature, so divine

This is my reality,

But if it wasn’t, it’d be my dream

Sometimes it’s not as glamorous as people make it seem

The mediterranean is my home

Shqipëria, Italia, Ellada, Filastin

United by the sea, and olives green.

Do you ever get so caught up in a convo with a person and you’re just staring at their face, and in your brain you look as pretty as them but then when you catch a glimpse of your reflection ur just like woah i dont look like how i think i do ewwww nasty

If someone asked me what my day was like id tell them it was fine

But if they sat me down and told me to describe my day to the best of my abilities id tell them it was beautifully tragic.

So beautiful in its sadness

And all of its madness.

Waking up at grandmas house without you here is uncanny.

And people underestimate just how much i miss you

I went about my day doing the things we used to do together,

And they made me smile

and then cry for a long long while.

Its been 2 years since you died

We all died too
