lots of playing around with perspective, even if not always successful. i really like to sketch in pen and marker which means estimating vanishing points is a little difficult, but it's so fun to work this way :^)
Working on this piece was so fun, I was so charmed by the idea of a winged AU only to realize I know next to nothing about wings, so I hope I did them justice! I really liked the idea of Reigen, consciously or not, using his wing to shield mob from the rain, even if he gets soaked in the process. Your prompts were so lovely and I hope I've made something you'll like. Wishing you the Happiest of Holidays & a lovely 2026!

Little snippet I wrote as a background to the art:
It had been a long day, filled with festivities and excitement and laughter, all things each member of the S&S crew were happy to have after a year of growing pains.
Reigen claimed he wasn’t tired as he finished his meal. He was young! He had plenty of energy for that pillow fight they were all taking about! Only for his eyelids to betray him, the many sleepless nights of stress dreams catching up to him.
Shigeo was dozing off as their meals were finished as well, warmth from the space heater beckoning him to sleep. Ritsu snorted, maneuvering a blanket over the two of them before joining him in rest, even as Shou and Tome booed at them for not joining in the games they had planned.
As if they too weren’t tired, the heat from the Kotasu they sat under making their eyelids droop.
Teru hopped Reigen wouldn’t mind him joining the group on the couch, laying his head on his lap and curling himself into a ball. He clutched his little red envelope protectively, a gift from Reigen who claimed it was just a bonus. It wasn’t much, and it was something his parents always gave him as a courtesy, but this felt much more special. Care was put into it, even if it was folded poorly.
Serizawa was one of the last to go, a familiar green spirit chatting with him until he went to settle in Shigeo’s lap, a spot that was always open for him. Shigeo shifted in his sleep, squeezing him a little closer as Ritsu fell onto his shoulder, the two squished against Reigen as the night came to an end.
Serizawa sat in silence for a while, content to sit in silence with a full belly and warm surroundings. Though, he would join them soon, the relaxing atmosphere and the light patter of snow against the window encouraging him to finally rest. A blanket was found, one he draped over Shou and Tome who were deep in the world of dreams, before he sighed happily into the pillow on the table
New year’s was calm for once, something all were grateful for.
