“I guess we both hit high on the scale of good looks, then,” the girl replied playfully. She was slowly shaking off her hesitation, growing accustomed to the change in her plans and assuming that Ava was in no way going to stop her from shaking off her previous self. “Yeah, that’s the one Alpha Sigma, alright.. Computer Science major, I guess that let me qualify for them. Plus, the initiation shouldn’t be so bad, what are they going to do: throw books at us?” A soft laugh followed, now slowly wrapping the headphones around her phone and tucking it into her pocket to dedicate her attention to her previous friend. “But you and the party girls, huh? Doesn’t necessarily surprise me.”
"a true compliment," ava chuckled good-naturedly, then gave a proper laugh when lyra mentioned the initiation. “i doubt my initiation is going to be quite so tame - if my memory serves me well, delta xi nu’s got a pretty wild streak where it comes to hazing and all. but if there’s anything i’m ready for...” she winked, tapping her temple. “well, it certainly seems like nothing much has changed. but i don’t doubt it has. how about a coffee? we can catch up over a slice of cake or something, my treat.”
