I went to China this Jan and returned to Singapore ~10days later. I have taken 14days quarantine after the traveling. I have experienced the beginning of coronavirus breakout in China. Now it’s spreading worldwide. I have some words and I hope my followers should know.

1. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE WEAR A MASK if you have one. You can reuse it after air-drying, just ensure the side that directly contacts your face is not contaminated. At the end of January, people were forbidden to take public vehicles or enter shops/malls if they were not wearing masks. That’s how Chinese control the spreading of the virus all over the country.

2. STAY AT HOME. NO GATHERING unless it’s necessary. It's very easy to get infection through breathing. There is a case in Guangzhou. Three families in a restaurant, sitting in three individual tables to have dinners. One person in one of these families carrying the virus and he didn’t have any symptoms at that time. After this gathering, all the three family members got infected by the virus.

3. BE SERIOUS. If you are not able to get a mask, and you have to go out. Note that talking to people wearing masks is safer than talking to those without wearing masks. WASH YOUR HANDS AS FREQUENT AS YOU CAN. Wipe your cellphone after you touched it with your contaminated hands. Measure body temperature everyday.

4. The latest update is that the virus not only attack the respiratory system but also the immune system. So try to maintain nutritional balance to make your immune system stronger.
