So I’m going be talking about Groomlake mass masked massacre theory. An experimental band from Las Vegas, NV. They are five piece band, although mostly for live, they play as three piece band. They have a unique sound, that has the elements as indie pop, indie rock, post rock, ambient, jazz, progressive. Here’s I’m going started about the vocals. I really like it a lot. They have a calm, mellow feeling towards them , also catchy and dramatic. The vocals have different time tempo and depth towards that catches your attention. The lyrics are creative and cryptic and its telling an crazy story to you. Here’s a interesting thing about this ep one half is in english and the other half is in Spanish. That gives different feeling and emotion. So I’m going talk about the instruments now. Everything is perfect structure and well layer together with the drums and guitars and bass. The guitars have some great leads that doesn’t over top the structure and well balance. They give different dramatics and feelings to the listener. They can be describe as very dancy or groovy and intense. The bass holds everything together and adds depths in it. The drums are creative and consistent. Now there’s a song that has a horn on it, it gives the song a jazzy and aggressive feeling, that hits you. I hope you guys enjoy them. Check them out. They have unique sound that’s for everybody. So I’m going to be talking about this emo violence band Meryl Streaker from San Diego, CA. Meryl Streaker is active 3 piece emo violence that started in 2013. They have another band called flowers taped to pens, that is more on the emo side. Meryl Streaker has epic raw and dark and aggressive and groomy sound. They aren’t the usually emo violence band but stuck strongly to the roots. I’m going break down their sound, so I can describe it. They have very fast chaotic guitar parts along with the drums but yet has some calm ambient and noisy parts. The vocals are really raw hit pitch and chaotic, pretty much sounds like screeches. Everything is way balance with this band. They have that strong emo violence/screamo sound but throws in some classic power violence along with some sludge and grind. Mixing it up with some soft groomy parts. They just release a new split with Nayru. Check them out, if you are a fan of screamo and emo bands . This isn't for everybody. It might be a little over the top for some. I hope you enjoy it.

So I’m going talk about this experimental band from Japan called boredoms. Often has been called japanoise. Well anyways there’s two sides of the coin with Boredoms. There’s early Boredoms around the late 80’s and early 90’s was wild and crazy and very noisy and randomness all handed together very nicely. Often pushing the limts, combining many elements of music like kractrock and punk and jazz and noise rock and avant garde. The other side od the coin is more of minimalistic, drony, dreamy, electronic, post rockish, ambient, psychedelic, landscapes and heavily filled with percussion. This style is has so much put together and is layer and more organize and the production is pretty high and really cinematic . So anyways no matter what side of the coin you fall on with boredoms. They are still very diverse and pushing the boundaries of music. If you want crazy rawness and spazzy and really noisy and on the Kractrock side. Check out the albums chocolate synthesizer and pop tatari. If you more into drone and ambient and electronic and tribal precisions. Check out the albums super ae and sundrums/house of sun and vision creatures newsuns. I hope you enjoy them!
