my boss who I adore with my heart and soul and maybe an extra soul or two just for luck, turned 50 this year and one of the gifts from her her husband was the first acotar book.

neither of them read fantasy, and they absolutely LOOK like they do not read fantasy. I'm pretty sure he has no idea what the books are about, and she didn't either.

she's not a big reader. she's a full time manager with a preteen, and on top of that she's just one of those buzzy bee types always doing things to help out others and such. she doesn't prioritise herself (like most mums, right?)

as of last week, she's on her third reread.

the fairy/elf/dragon books aren't really my bag. but i will happily scratch out the eyes of any mortal who tries to deny her her right to the fantasy smut.
