I don’t post much here, but I am celebrating my 5 year anniversary at the flower shop soon ✨

By request here’s a post explaining why succulents drop leaves in different circumstances!

Overwatered: yellow squishy leaves, maybe even a brown stem and root rot

Underwatered: wrinkles on the lower leaves/ very thin limp leaves before they shrivel up and die

Etiolated: the plant didn’t receive the correct amount of sunlight and is stretching towards the light. It uses the nutrients etc in the lower leaves to make new leaves. Notice the air roots as well!

normal shedding of lower leaves: 1 or a few lower leaves die to make some space for pups, roots or just to make new leaves.

I got a puppy in may and have been very busy taking care of her and training her. She’s such a sweet pup and I love her very much!

She started digging holes in the garden, so I decided to plant some flowers in some of them. Here’s a picture of her with one of them 🐶🌸

✨ ~ Finally found some reasonably priced airplants, repotted quite a few plants and my mostera unfurled this beautiful, big leaf! Absolutely too excited about the leaf 😂🌿

~ My beloved variegated monstera got infected by some insects and I’ve been trying to save it. Sadly it didn’t work... I decided to get a new one and the plant centre I got it from had some other plants I’ve been searching for! I ended up bringing home 6 new plants 😍🌿

✨A few plant things! I got mom some tulips and a pineapple plant recently. Also a florist shop I interned at is closing so all their plants and pots were half off, so I got a little cactus and a really big monstera (for a really, really good price! He gave me an extra discount bc he remembered me ☺️) 🌿🌿🤩

~ Bought this big beautiful boy at Ikea yesterday along with a white amaryllis 😍🌿

Mom got me the tiny pumpkin pot with the plant in the spirit of Halloween and I love it. It’s adorable! ❤️
