boyfriend almost completely murdered his calathea. itās been 8 months since i moved in and this is how the plant is recovering āŗļø
finally started therapy today
this is one of my first plants. had her when i was depressed in high school, took her with me when i went to college and when i moved abroad she had to come with me. weāve grown a lot together
babies babies babies
itās been a while.

Hey! I have a question about my aloe pup. I was told to put it in water til it grew decent roots, which it has, but I'm also worried it might be rotting? I'm not sure if this is normal. Should I be worried? It's growing a new leaf so it seems to be doing fine otherwise
The roots are firm but dark. And the core stem is dark and soft, but doesn't seem to be spreading upward past that point yet
(it's been sitting in my window so the color is slightly off. Been getting a tad too much sun I think)
Best to let the pup hover above some water instead of actually putting it in water! Putting it in water might cause rot, letting it hover above water will stimulate it to grow roots without that danger. Picture doesnāt look too good, roots are probably dead. If the plant is still alive i would remove the roots so it can start over again. The dark stem doesnāt look healthy and it being soft is concerning. i would try to wiggle the bottom to see if the dark part lets loose, sometimes succulents start rotting but dry out again before the rot can really spread and do too much damage
Light green tips & the left cutting is growing roots
Some of my plants have their own little friends
Woke up at night to watch her bloom and she then proceeded to keep this flower alive for 2 nights and 2 days
Skies from our bedroom windows ā¤ļø itās been almost 2 months since i moved to another country and iām still a little overwhelmed with life
Growing a flower stalk
Hace unos meses comprƩ una suculenta que estaba en una maceta pequeƱa. Cuando lleguƩ a casa la trasplantƩ. Y desde entonces, no para de crecer sana y vigorosa.
fantƔstico :)
New leaves ā¤ļø
This person stole my picture and acts like my plants are theirs. Iām probably not the only person whose pics have been stolen. Can you please report this account? Thanks!
This plant didnāt get the right care for a while but itās happier now! Also look at my orangutan :)
