right when i was finally happy with my hair again (took about 2 years) my scalp has decided to do a another round of telogen effluvium

thanks, body!!!!!!

#it's just non-stop again #constantly shedding telogen hairs #and every time i run my fingers through it it's coming out basically in clumps again #this sucks so bad #it was already so thin #ugh #i have chronic TE triggered by a covid infection 4 years ago #-_-#telogen effluvium #hair loss

The mythical disabled person who is so disabled that everyone consistently supports and accommodates them without question is a straw man which only exists as a hypothetical for the political purpose of denying real disabled people care while still being able to argue that said care would be accessible to disabled people who "actually deserves it"

being anti-amatonormativity in a romance centered world is like watching half the people you know put all their eggs in one basket and then drop the basket and all their eggs break and they’re crying and swearing they’re never gonna do that again and then a month later they have all new eggs in a new basket and they tell you the problem was they didn’t have a strong enough basket or fresh enough eggs and then they drop the fucking basket again.

#it genuinely makes me wonder if i've ever truly been in love with anybody #because i have literally never felt this urge before #and yet every (female) friend i have ever had is permanently infected with it #(not so much the men)#it's like they lose their minds every time #pouring every cell of themselves into maintaining this new relationship for years #mould themselves to fit the shape of the person they're with and throw off everything that made them *them*#abandoning their hobbies and friendship groups until their network is so tiny #until nothing else matters to them #and then uh oh! (he treated her like shit and left) well she's never doing that again!! buuuuuuut here comes the new guy...#and it's so exhausting helping them through it and then a minute later they're doing it again #and it just goes on and on and on #and as you get older suddenly there are children involved and shared assets #and then they go through horrible messy divorces #and fucking do it AGAIN!!#but this guy's *actually* perfect so i guess she has to mould herself to his shape and abandon everyone else she knows for *this* guy...#they still don't learn!#and i'm treated like the freak for not participating in this

sources say there are muscles in the back of my neck. and they want to kill me

#i lifted a very large bottle of water awkwardly today #and though it didn't hurt at first about a minute later i was suddenly hit with a deeply weird pain in my neck shoulders and head #that made me almost vomit #it felt so wrong #i cautiously turned my head to one side and immediately felt like i was going to die #it did NOT feel like normal neck pain; i usually get the shooting or burning kind where you can't move properly #this was like a deep intense dry? ache on the back of my neck and head that made my hairs stand on end #i just said “oh no” out loud calmly and wondered if i might be having an aneurysm or something #it hurt so so bad in such a specifically unusual way #and turned into a hellish headache with shooting nerve pains in both arms and sparkling in my vision #it was like when a masseuse digs super hard into a knotted muscle and you nearly throw up #but ramped up by like a thousand all over my neck head and shoulders #with accompanying severe vice-like head pain #i just got my fancy neck pillow out and lay there until it felt a little better #which took around 30 minutes?#then did VERY gentle stretches and haven't lifted anything else since #anyway fuck!!!#be careful with your necks!!!#i do have a bulging disc in my neck that's been there for about 10 years #plus 3 years ago i got whiplash and my neck has been really strange ever since
