Error doges for if your save file isnât loaded correctly.
Iâll probably be posting separate audio files for this as well!
Seeing eye Flowey.
Hey there, everyone! I wanted to make an announcement regarding the state of this blog.
I never update this on a particular schedule, but Iâve been doing some debugging things and not posting them here simply because Iâve been distracted. What have I been distracted by, you may ask? Weeeell... I have been enlisted recently as a moderator for nochocolate! Specifically, Iâm Mod Comedian!
Anyway, that doesnât mean this blog will go inactive, as that blog is more for theorizing and answering questions than anything else. My debugging adventures will still go here! Iâm just making this post to note where Iâve been.
I tried the F10 through Toriel's bscotch thing and it didnt work. Is it only UT v1.0?
I use the patched version for all my debugging tricks, so if itâs not working for you itâs probably because you might be doing something different from what I do!
Itâs not simply pressing F10 again -- what you need to do is step over the trigger. F10 simply allows you to walk through walls, and thus, to move after youâve triggered dialogue. The trigger should still be in the same spot, so you just walk right back to where you were!
youre a nerd
Fun Fact #2- No one wants to pratfall during a cool techniqueÂ
Undyne also didnât grab you while you were on the phone with Papyrus on purpose.
Fun Fact #5- Papyrus painted a rock formation to look like a bridge.
He also added the ropes.
IS THIS REAL
Yes, everything I attempt on my blog is real! Itâs not possible through normal gameplay, but I use debug, which allows me to do things to the game you ordinarily canât. In this case, Iâm able to press F10 to walk in the middle of dialogue boxes. If a dialogue box hasnât finished, its trigger still remains within the same place (for certain dialogue boxes, at any rate), so I can retrigger that dialogue box over and over again until I close the very last dialogue box I opened.
For the most part, this just makes the dialogue box overlay itself, but very strange things happen if the dialogue box Iâm retriggering (or triggering over another dialogue box) happens to have a choice that I can make (in this case, the choice was Cinnamon or Butterscotch). Since the game doesnât have a -> Next dialogue for specific lines later on in the call (or earlier), it desperately attempts to pull text from somewhere else. This can result in me getting text that doesnât happen in this part of the game to occur.
Or something like that, anyway!
So as it turns out, the game really doesnât like you stacking regular dialogue boxes that have nothing to do with the option on top of option boxes. (Yes or Nos, Burgers or Fries, etc.) This affects Torielâs dialogue, too, by the way.
I just happened to come upon this realization here.
(Stacking normal dialogue boxes just results in them either being displayed at once or on top of each other. It doesnât lead to... this monstrosity.)
If you press on the switches too many times, it makes them uncomfortable!
Fun Fact #6- Sans loves outer space.
Fun Fact #12- The ice the dog person throws into the river is to cool down the core.
Fun Fact #15- Woshua pats pizza with a napkin to get off the grease, but pats until there no pizza left.
Fun fact #18- Sans is most likely left handed.
This also goes for Frisk (and perhaps Chara), who dominantly does things with their left hand, too.
Fun fact #22- Undyne used to give Shyren piano lessons.
Fun fact #24- Undyne doesnât tell you the undergroundâs history because she forgot the words.
