Omegaverse RyuSen fic idea.

All secondary genders go through two types of puberty. Early stage puberty (ESP) where they go through all their normal puberty stuff as well as present their secondary genders, their scent and instincts begin forming and they experience weaker heats and ruts. Late stage puberty (LSP) where their scents and instincts are fully developed and they start having mature heats/ruts. ESP takes place around ages 12-14 and LSP takes place around 17-19.

ΩSenku however ends up going through ESP way earlier than normal (around 8-9) which leads to him going through LSP earlier as well (11-13). This leads to him both having a better control of his instincts than others and seeing his classmates/kid his age as pups instead of pears.

αRyuusui on the other hand is a late presenter, going through ESP when he's 15 and not having gone through LSP till the age of nineteen.

He and Senku met when they were teenagers (17 & 15) at a party that his family was hosting where Senkuu mistakes Ryuusui as a pup. Ryuusui being extremely embarrassed at being treated like that, tries to constantly prove to Senkuu that he is in fact not a pup, is in fact older than him and would be an amazing future mate, despite not even having his first mature rut yet.

My reasoning for tanji having his headband on his waist instead of his forehead is bc his forehead doesn’t rlly need much protecting (hard head), he’s already got his bandana on his arm and it’s not rlly big enough to have anywhere else!! he’d feel awkward w something on both arms, so he just uses it as a belt. He had Nezuko make it wide enough for that purpose!!

Him and Nezu both are crushing on Zenitsu, so they have a bit of a rivalry going on that i find very silly. Theyre not rude to each other but they can get passive aggressive w each other every now and then

Ino stops by hisa’s to give her flowers he finds in the forest :3 Which is why he eventually finds out abt the hokage thing! He does have his own place (like Naruto) but he prefers being in nature more since he didn’t rlly know too many ppl in the village aside from Hisa and eventually Kanae, who is their class’s teacher (iruka role basically, v close w ino) :3

Neither Zen or Kaigaku were actually birthed into the Kuwajima (uchiha) clan! They were still adopted by jigoro and don’t actually possess the sharingan, but they were still trained as such, and eventually their hearing level became just as useful as having a sharingan :3 Zen closes his eyes sometimes during combat to focus better, as does kai (I came up with this because the sharingan doesn’t fit their aesthetics actually. Also partly bc I wanted to keep the orphaned storyline up, not that I rlly had to, but I just like that aspect of canon and I wanna keep it in their chrcs. I think they’d be a little fundamentally different w/o that experience)
