HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED
Motivation is what helps me to reach my goals.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a big or a small goal, motivation is an essential in my routine. Said that, it is not easy at all to focus and keep in mind what you truly want, and it’s something people struggle about every single day. It’s all about pushing yourself, on and on and finding that one thing that keeps you going through the jungle that is life.
There isn’t any special pill or trick which helps you to stay motivated, and, at the end of the day, that’s fine because you wouldn’t be as proud as you are after reaching your goal, day by day, with your own strength.
So, I’m not here to reveal you the latest method discovered which gives you results in a short time (let me know if you find it out) but just a few tips that I hope will push you further towards your aim.
Have somebody to look up to
Right now, I want to get fit and healthy and a good way, to remember myself why I started, is filling up my Instagram with healthy recipes, fit girls and quotes and everytime I lack in motivation I will look for them. It may sound stupid and maybe it works just for me but a try costs nothing.
Find somebody who can support you
If a simple picture or a quote aren't enough, and you need someone you can actually interact with, I suggest you to surround yourself with people with your same goal. You will always feel inspired, part of a group and, main thing, constantly motivated.
Anyway, you can also ask a friend or someone close to you, some help. He or she could tell you off when you’re about to quit, push you and pick you up when your down and just keep you focused. Choose somebody you can trust and who understands your aim and why you want to reach it so bad.
Celebrate what you achieve!
Another thing you must remember, is to compliment yourself for what you’ve achieved. We spend entire days reminiscing about something we’ve done in the wrong way or something we should have done, but we forget to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished and we should be proud of.
Take a break during the week, and think about all the progress you made and how, even when the wind was blowing against you (how poetic), you kept going. Congratulate yourself! Don’t wait for someone else to notice what you reached. You’ll always be the first one to take view of your improvement, so, if you learn to celebrate and be happy for what you achieved, without no one else’s compliment, you’ll surely live better your journey towards your goal.
Go shopping!
When a girl feels sad and is going through a rough time, shopping always helps. I always say it’s “therapetic” and I laugh afterwards, but I’m not kidding at all. Last week I was really demotivated so I treated myself with a new sport bra and the morning after I had one of the best workouts ever. Obviously, it isn’t something you can do every single time you’re a bit down, because it would get a pretty expensive deal but every now and then why not??
Another kind of shopping you can do, to keep your healthy lifestyle going, is buying new foods!
Extend your diet and add more healthy dishes you enjoy eating, so you will look forward to them and not to junk food, which will make you feel nothing but guilty.
Find your perfect plan.
Last but not least, I think the main way you can stay motivated is to…(DRUMS ROLL) …. get to know yourself!
We are all different so it’s obvious that what may work for me, won’t work for someone else. You need to understand which “plan” is the best for you. Do you prefer to workout everyday for a short time or three or four times a week for an hour or more? Can you eat every 3 or 4 hours or you prefer a few but consistent meals? It’s up to you! And the best part is that, when you’ll find your perfect routine, everything will get easier and easier.
Get to know yourself and what now requires a lot of effort from you, it will be a normal part of you life.

I like cancelled plans. And empty bookstores. I like rainy days and thunderstorms. And quiet coffee shops. I like messy beds and over-worn pajamas. Most of all, I like the small joys that a simple life brings.

Let me introduce myself
This is my first post and I am pretty excited!
Starting a blog has never crossed my mind before until a few days ago when, during one of those boring summer mornings, I decided to go for it and do something creative.
I'm quite scared of what is going to come out from this adventure but I feel like a blog is a good news in the ordinary life of a teenager.
First thing first, I'd like to introduce myself:
I'm Letizia, I'm seventeen at moment and I live in Italy.
Why are you writing a post in English if you're Italian, you're probably wondering.
Well, I was quite undecided about the language at first because I absolutely love English, one of my dreams is to live in England and everything but the massive fear of making any grammatical mistakes held me back a little (By the way I'm terribly sorry if you'll find any). Since I want to challenge myself and try something new I couldn't help but make this choice.
In my free time I love listening to music, singing, watching films and A LOT of TV series, reading and from now on also writing posts for my blog I hope!
I live with my parents and my brother in a little village and I have a dog called Crock (I don't even remember why we called him like that).
I don't really know what else to say about me, moreover, I don't want to bore you too much.
If you have any question about me or any topic you would like to know my opinion about just leave them in the comments or send them to my email. :)
I will post something new very soon so come back if you like to.
Bye!
