I love ur Clonetles (clone high Beatles)
I just would love to know if u have any lore abt them as of this moment?
(I love the designs so much)
Waaahh thank you so much!! That makes me so happy to hear ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ I do have a bit of lore actually!
They are technically graduates of clone high (though I'll probably post some art of them in HS at some point), and they're trying to navigate the adult world as clones of the Beatles while also getting their own band off the ground (surprisingly, they're not succeeding at this yet). Rotten Applez is their grunge/alt rock band (the name inspired by Apple Records), and they practice in Geo's garage/Richie's basement respectively! They all enjoy making music and possess the same talents as their clone fathers, but James is the one who wanted to start the band in the first place. Making their own music is always the main objective, but they do cover Beatles songs as well (with their own spin ofc). I don't have as much lore yet for Geo and Richie as I do for James and Jon, but here's what I do have:
Geo(rge): Geo is pretty indifferent about being a Beatles clone, but he does think it's cool to be a part of George's legacy. He's "emo" and was labeled as one of the cool kids in school, usually pretty chill but he does get tired of James' and Jon's bullshit (tbh he's tired of everyone and everything, but those two especially test his pacifist nature daily). He is also very quiet, much like the real George! His foster parents give him the space to follow whatever he wishes to pursue, and they don't force anything Beatles related onto him. He and Richie are like this ๐ค and they live in the same neighborhood.
Richie: Richie is similar to George in that his foster parents don't try to push Ringo's legacy onto him either. He comes from a pretty well-off family and is overall very easygoing and good-natured. The ladies LOVE him, to the point where he doesn't understand it at times (he just chalks it up to the money/his clone dad). Richie loves the fact that he's a Beatle clone! He thinks it's super cool, but he tries not to let it go to his head. He looks up to Ringo quite a bit, after all! He also loves to skateboard and is a huge jokester (and he wears rings on just about all his fingers).
James: James is a bit different. James' foster parents are massive Beatlemaniacs and also pretty shitty. They essentially are trying to raise him to be the next Paul McCartney so they can get super rich and live off of whatever he makes. They even make a point to call him "Paul" when he's explicitly asked them not to. For these reasons, James (almost) resents his clone father. He doesn't hate him, but he hates the position he's been put in as his clone. He does love music and he does want to be a musician, but he tries to keep it hidden from his parents. He wants to make his own music and make a name for himself, not just be known as Paul McCartney's clone. He wants to forge his own path (though it'd be nice if people would care at least a LITTLE, maybe then the band would succeed a bit more)! He goes by James; most call him Jimmy, but Jon specifically calls him Jamie. He's very sweet, optimistic, easygoing, and a little sassy; though his nerves do get the best of him sometimes. And yes, he does have a big lovely sheepdog named Martha, whom he's nicknamed "Marmite" โค๏ธ
Jon: Jon very much acts like he's better than his clone father, but he's secretly terrified of even attempting to fill his shoes. John Lennon is a massive cultural icon and a rock and roll legend: how can he possibly live up to that? His birth name is John, but he makes a point to cross out the h any chance he gets (he wants to legally change it). Much to his embarrassment, however, he's pretty much a carbon copy of his clone father in terms of how he acts. He's smart, witty, funny, hot-tempered, and honestly a bit full of himself. He makes a show of his artistic capabilities and harps on the fact that he will finish art school, and he will be successful at his craft where his dad was not (in his opinion)! He needs to be better, has to be! His foster parents are similar to James' in that they want him to be famous, but for political and social activist reasons. They aren't as shitty, but they can definitely be pushy. While Jon does believe in what his clone dad stood for, he's not interested in being a figurehead for anything. He really just wants to create, whether it be his next big project or his newest song with Jamie.
Thank you sm for your question and your sweet words!! You made my dayโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
