'Theory of thought' Sophie Watkins, 2013

This is my final and main piece for the exhibition on Monday.

It’s bleak and minimal and i don’t think the internet is gonna react to it, i wouldn’t be surprised if it got lost in cyber space without ever being acknowledged. But i don’t care, the harpies of the inter-world can do one. This piece is more personal to me than maybe anything i’ve ever made and I love it.

If its viewers take advantage of it during the show then fantastic, i’ll be thrilled, if people choose to leave it alone then that’s fine too. I’ll keep you posted on it’s changes and developments. I’m nervous that people will not understand the connection and just vandalise it, but I guess that’s all part of leaving it open to the public

Atelierhouse is a minimalist house located in Bolzano, Italy, designed by Harry Thaler. Commissioned by the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Museion in Bolzano, Italy. This project involved the furnishing and rearrangement of the artist in residence studio and living space.
