One doesn’t go around expecting to have a 45 pound dragon smack into them. Even less so for said dragon to trap them in a pair of cloud-like wings. Cynthia instantly fell forward when such an event did happen, landing right on Garchomp (who HAD been napping in the afternoon sunlight).
Giving a low growl, the dual type wedged her claws between the wings and carefully pried them off of her trainer, Cynthia gasping for breath once she was released. "What in Arceus’s name…!?”
Tara gave a small chirp at being taken off of the woman, looking almost ashamed of what she had done. She usually conducted herself so much better than that, but she hadn't really been paying attention to where she was going, or what she had been doing. She cooed apologetically to the both of them before looking behind herself to see if the Ice-type had followed her, looking more relaxed when she didn't spot them.

◤Reaching up, the fox-like man started to climb the tree, looking over the girls predicament. “It seems a lot of people seem to think it is clever to camp in trees lately….” He mentioned, knowing that another girl had lost her hat at some point due to trying to sleep in a tree. Glancing towards her, Ninetales raised an eyebrow and helped tug what he thought was her coat free.
"No need to offer me anything." He replied, jumping down from the tree after a moment to hold up his arms. Offering to help her down as gently as possible.◢
"I'm a bird, and that's kind of what birds do. Well, I mean, beside the whole flying thing as well, because there are other types of Pokemon that can do that as well." Accepting his help, she was soon back on the ground, smiling at the other. "I thank you so very much, but I'd feel weird if I didn't make it up to you somehow. So, just tell me what it is I can do!" There was a wide smile on her lips as she checked her sleeve right quick to any tears, finding a small one, but not feeling like it was anything to really worry about.
"I would not advise to shooting ice at birds--!" As someone who's terrified of Ice-types....
Hello everyone! New Indie gijinka!Altaria here! A like and reblog would be absolutely wonderful, and it would be nice if everyone could take a look over the about page. Thank you!
Oops. She had been trying to fly away from an Ice-type, being quite terrified of them, and had run straight into the back of someone's head. Worse still, her initial instinct was to wrap her wings around them, probably suffocating them in her fluffy wings. However, now she was too embarrassed to let go.
He wasn’t really sure what type of pokemon this was. She seemed nice though, and she didn’t act like she wanted to snatch him up and feed him to other pokemon. So that was a plus. He crept out from under the bush a little more to sniff at the pokemon’s talons.
He looked up at the pokemon, coming out of the bush and sitting on the ground in front of her. His tail swished back and forth and he blinked a few times before answering. “I’m not sure. I can’t find Mama.”
Couldn't find his mom? That wasn't good at all. And it was getting really late. The way Tara saw it, they had two choices. Either, he stay the night with her and she helps him look for his mom in the morning, or they search now. The problem with that second option was that they would have to stay on the ground to look, and not only was Tara awkward on the ground in her Pokemon form, but the both of them had a few predators, who would no doubt be active in the night. She didn't want to risk him being hurt, but she also didn't want his mother to worry about him anymore than she probably already was. After a few moments thinking, she spoke up.
"Okay sweetie. Either I can help you look for your pack now, or you can go ahead and sleep with me tonight, and I promise we'll look first thing in the morning."
I'm off to the laundry mat. If anyone would like a starter when I come back, go ahead and like this. I still have a few others from the first one too that I'll get to
That moment when you thought you saw someone follow you, but apparently you didn't. Now I kinda feel like an ass.
Where was she? The bird blinked, having no idea the answer to her question. She looked around, finding a boy nearby. Quickly, she changed into her human form, carefully approaching him. He wasn't facing her, and she didn't want to scare him. Softly, she spoke up.
"Excuse me, dear, but do you think you could tell me where I am?"
I don't know if you guys have noticed yet, but, yes, Tara calls people 'dear' and 'sweetie' quite often.

◤Glancing up at the mess that sat in the trees just ahead of him the fox raised a thin brow, his head falling to the side just to simply watch as she tried to get herself free. “…Did you get yourself in that predicament?” He asked, it seemed that quite a few people that he had met just seemed to climb trees without thinking of how to get themselves down. He let out a sigh as his conscious nagged at him, his eyes narrowed at the thought of helping what could possibly just another stupid human.
"Fine…" He muttered before making his way over to the tree, trying to work out what she was snagged on.◢
"I nested up here last night, and my wing had gotten caught on the branch. I figured it wouldn't hurt as much to try and get out in this form instead, and I actually have fingers, but now I'm just even more stuck." Tara sighed softly, a quiet groan slipping out in the process. Having so much fluff on her body really caused her trouble sometimes, and there were moments when she wished she were just a Swablu again. Less to deal with. Though, it was her fluff that helped her nest without a flock, and help keep warm in the winter, so she guessed she shouldn't complain too much. There was relief in her eyes when he said he would help, though, to her, he didn't seem very happy about it.
"Oh, thank you very much! If there's anyway I can make it up to you, don't hesitate to tell me, okay, sweetie?"
It was going to be a cold night, and Prince knew it. The way that the wind was blowing during the day. Which sucked because it was finally starting to get a little warmer. But what could he do?
Pulling in the sweater he managed to get from a bench at a nearby park, Prince pushed aside a few empty bottles that were carelessly tossed into the bush by humans. It wasn’t going to be the most comfortable situation.
The voice from behind him made him jump slightly, but the gentleness of it didn’t make him scared. He looked out from under the bush up at the fluffy-winged pokemon. He nodded, but didn’t say anything.
She laughed softly at the sight of the sweater, having not seen it when she first spotted him. She guessed she hadn't really been paying enough attention. At his answer to her question, she gave a nod of her own, glad that he at least had a place to sleep. However-- and she could be wrong-- didn't Eevee usually stay in groups? Had he wondered off from them. They were probably worried about him. Shifting on her feet a bit, she tilted her head, looking at him curiously.
"Sorry for being so intrusive, dear, but where is your pack?" There was a bit of worry in her tone for the younger Pokemon. Having other Pokemon to cuddle up with really helped keep the cold at bay. It was nights like these where she kind of missed her flock, but she couldn't complain. After all, she left of her own accord.
You have the biggest heart. It is your greatest quality and probably also your biggest flaw.
The best and worst thing someone told me. (via 04newby)
If anyone would like a starter, feel free to like this! I’m doing icons right now, but I’ll do them some time tonight, and if not, I’ll get to them tomorrow!
"This is really no good at all...." She was talking about the fact that one of the sleeves of her coat was severely stuck on a branch, and so she was stuck up in the tree until she could get it undone. However, the more she tried, the worse it seemed to get. Her eyebrows drew together, looking around to see someone a bit away. Waving her arm, she called out to them.
"E-excuse me--! Do you think you could help me out here....?"
Okay, I know there's a Swablu gijinka blog somewhere but I can't reMEMBER THE URL SOmeone please help me ;;;;
