tbhk college/uni au... i got carried away. we have mini fic of broadcasting club and toilet trio at the end.
i briefly mentioned this in the last post, and while some of u may disagree, i REALLY really think tsukasa would be very much into biology. perhaps this is self projection cuz i am a bio nerd myself, but something about it seems so fitting. remember this...?
yeah uh. i rest my case. this man would 100% be SO so curious on how living organisms work, look, or react... regarding internal organs and external ones. i would say he wouldn't just massacre any poor lil fella he finds, but he would be OVERLY excited and curious during dissections or when they bring out a goat heart for examination... did anyone else have that in their 5th grade coursework? or just me?
i feel like it would be really funny 2 imagine them as lab yashiro looking horrified at his eagerness 2 cut up small frogs nd animals. she herself is very reluctant and perhaps even a little queasy, and ts mfs eyes shine with wonder as he starts inspecting and explaining shit in detail. probably why yashiro would be so surprised 2 meet amane and see their dualities. but i digress.
now uhh. im not really sure what bio degree tsukasa would have. phyisology or anatomy sounds, well, eh. he also wouldnt feel very inclined 2 veterinary science like yashiro, because although those little critters insides are fascinating, its not enough. like i just imagine his thirst to know MORE and EVERYTHING. he wouldn't want 2 stop at animals, its a shame they never get examinations regarding humans aside from the usual cheek cell or blood cells.
yeah. i uh. this might just be me using tsukasa as my outlet for my love for bio. he would do a little bit of everything 2 me. oh but ALSO he def has a minor in theatre. i am so so sure of it and if theres like any college plays he definitely gets the main roles if not the leading ones.
also this lwk makes me wonder. tsukasa obviously does this for the knowledge and might as well do a PhD and even teach as a professor for bio, no? he could, but i feel like he would not be interested by it. he might be on the way 2 becoming a doctor... not cuz he wants 2 care for his patients but he's intrigued by cutting up people and seeing what it looks like inside. so in surgeon!tsukasa we believe...?
for sakura... i went with pure vibes here so pardon me. but, shes such a writer to me. i feel like she would be an Eng Lit major and would love 2 read gothic classics like Dracula, Frankenstein, etc... would like 2 think these books had an effect on her own writing as well, making it eloquent and just. rich in description. I also feel like her stories would lean toward the supernatural/horror/mystery aspect. hear me out!!!!! this is the same woman altering the rumours of the 7 wonders and honestly the new rumours were SO scary but also so so intriguing. i definitely can imagine her rolling out some stories during her time in uni for publication.
and the ever so persistent natsuhiko bothers her continuously! i feel like he would very much be into acting⊠and with his looks and dramatics, its an easy win for him! girls all around the campus are so easily woo'd by a few words and that charismatic wink of his⊠yeah. he really is built for this. and, in theatre, he gets 2 keep an eye out for his junior tsukasa!
WAITWAITWAITTTTTTTTT. HEAR ME OUT. what if natsuhiko convinces for a student led play across campus. and really begs sakura 2 write it as its a win for both of them. and then they have an annual play starring tsukasa and natsuhiko (sakura begrudgingly assigns him that role) with the other students and they have ts uni play. ik they might be 2 old for this but bear with me.
and!!!!!! tsukasa DEMANDS amane 2 come and well. amane is resigned and mentions it 2 yashiro and they both decide 2 go along. they mention it 2 kou and find out he and mitsuba were planning 2 go asw! so the whole gang tags along.
all of them get front row seats, and by the time the music stills and the curtains droop low, nearly the entire audience has tears in their eyes. sure, the play was comedic horror, but it went in depth on emotional themes. a fresh script that moved the audience greatly.
amane blinks back the tears in his own eyes, as he sees yashiro sniffling into a napkin and both kou and mitsuba arguing and denying that neither of the two cried. his gaze lands on the spot where tsukasa laid on the ground---playing the role of a childlike, innocent boy with something wrong and evil living inside of him. he had been killed, by the end of the play.
amane recalls how his brother yelled and ran around, so in touch with the emotions of his character that... everything seemed so effortlessly real. he often wondered why tsukasa didn't go for theatre as a whole---he would've earned well and lived a happy, luxurious life with that skill. a wave of pride washed over amane, the kind that blossoms when you see a tiny seedling of a plant turn tall and reach high, as if reaching for the stars.
his little brother had outdone himself, eh?
amane quickly shakes his head before someone sees him, of all people, teary-eyed. the four go 2 the backstage, altho mitsuba seems very reluctant, muttering something about a bad collision with tsukasa, finding him eerie and eccentric. amane reassures him the boy's kinder than he seems, although too excited.
amane's greeted by a hug from tsukasa backstage, babbling about how he had to try his best to restrain himself from searching for amane in the crowd, and did he like his performance? their play? sakura wrote the script! and natsuhiko---
yeah. everyone ends up meeting. natsuhiko relishes the attention given by yashiro and kou, impressed by his acting, his feats, and his good looks! although mitsuba doesn't buy it, having encountered natsuhiko's vain-ness before. sakura seems surprised but pleased as she's showered in compliments on how well her script was written, especially from yashiro who did a bit of creative writing in her free time as well! had she come up with the script on her own? how did she figure it all out? the opening scene was so well executed---
sakura bashfully tells her that it was influenced a little by the authors she read, although the idea was completely of her own brainstorming.
sakura and natsuhiko also meet amane thrillingly, letting him know that they hear no end of tsukasa's rambling! amane did this, amane said that, amane's working on some new assignment today, he saw amane and yashiro sitting together, alone, in the cafeteria---
amane brushes off the comments, apologizing for his brothers enthusiam, seemingly embarrassed. he thanks them for looking after his brother; Natsuhiko simply pats his back with a grin on his face, assuring him that its no trouble, whilst sakura offers him a polite smile.
to yashiros surprise, tsukasa is pretty curious how she found HIS performance. to him, she's already sharing some labs and lectures with him and she's already close with amane... they're already friends, no?
yashiro reassures him quickly that he did well on stage and beams, earning him a side eye from amane.
either way, the students pool out of the auditorium, chattering of the play they saw. one thing for sure, everyone involved has had a certain popularity boost; even the intimidating tsukasa is praised for his immense skills. natsuhiko's popularity triples and sakura's mysterious but talented presence has been highlighted even further.
anyway um. this was supposed 2 be a simple ramble but i got too excited. i hope u guys like it.
