The Hiatus

Hi everyone, sorry about my sudden hiatus on here. I’ve gotten burned out on minecraft all of a sudden and since this is a minecraft/content creator blog that will hit hard.

I’ve since moved on to other games, namely ARK: Survival Evolved, and letting my creative mindset do it’s work there. The magical land of Cad Goddeu was not always so. It took the work of five guardians to bring magic to the land and the work of many Nerdfighters to preserve it. The guardians put their faith in Nerdcrafteria and watched as their forest was soon teeming with life. Some came to help the forest grow, while some sought to destroy it, and the guardians have been here through it all. The story has not ended and it’s time for you to enter this magical narrative, fellow Nerdfighter!

Confession time: While I haven’t been playing Minecraft as much, I have been playing ARK Survival Evolved. Not only can you build things like up there, but there are also... uhm... dinosaurs. (No judging ok :p)

So up there is my base in all its glory, on the highest graphics settings. Sadly you can’t play the game like that, simply because my computer isn’t awesome enough. With this base I wanted to bring some of the elements I used in Minecraft into the world of ARK. Combining different materials, cheating the building mechanics and straying from the 90 degree angles was a goal from the start. While building in ARK isn’t the most forgiving, it is really satisfying to see the base done :D

It seems a hermit has moved into our seasonal area. Oh well, guess we have to keep him there, because that is one cute house. Little does he know that something is brewing up above :o

After taking a hiatus from some bad mojo I wanted to take on a small project in creative minecraft. Turns out I can’t do small, since this is the biggest thing on my creative plot 0.0. It started out as an attempt to make a Blue Morpho butterfly. The pattern however is very much made up :p

The RSA presents our newest build, the RSA Petting Zoo! Accessible through /warp zoo, the build features a phenomenal barn with dining and lounge areas upstairs, luxury pens for the animals to roam in chock-full with endless entertainment for the animals, and a fun Carnival area for the wandering player. Stop by, check it out, and get to know the animals!

If there's an animal you find yourself really drawn to, you don't have to be content with simply watching it roam in its pen. You can adopt and name an animal, and come visit it whenever you like. If you'd like, you can even buy your own stable stall in our barn for your pet(s) and even subscribe to monthly updates on what your animal has been up to!

 This weeks theme for the weekly competition in EdgeTown was Floating Islands. And I got to say I love the theme.

I made a hermit island that includes: a house, sawmill, windmill, well and a beacon (not the ingame one :P).

A while back the town of Green Hills faced a huge blazing fire. It destroyed the local hospital and the Tesla Laboratories. Many speculated to the cause of the fire, which seemed to be started by a huge blast underneath the Tesla Laboratories.

Fast forward a few months and after the local fire department got a hold of the flames, all that remained of the old Tesla was a crater.

Here I present the New Tesla. It features the latest in redstone wizardry and technology. All of it housed in the most futuristic architectonic building ever seen (not really :P). Want to see it for yourself? It is located at /warp tesla on the Nerdcrafteria server.
