In the spirit of Spotify Wrapped, my friend and I put together a questionnaire out of pure curiosity and because this seemed infinitely more interesting than our own research studies. 

So, what makes a song good to you? 

This is just for fun. If anyone would be interested, I’ll post the results!

A very common swedish expression is “passa på”. It roughly translates take the opportunity of the moment and we use it every time the sun peaks out. Since we don’t get a lot of sun here, especially not now, in February, you have to “passa på” and go outside, as soon a sunbeam creaks out of the dark cloud.

I am not exaggerating. If it is a sunny day, it is a full-on waste to do any indoor activity or indoor obligations. And the rare sunny days are so important. It was a normal Monday morning, and everyone are being outside! Everyone is happy, and everyone is smiling and greeting one another.

I have been very angsty the past week, because of uni obligations that I keep procrastinating because they give me angst and I don’t really want to do them. But today, I was gonna get up, and get to work. I took me three hours to even get out of bed because I. Do. Not. Want. To. Do. This. But the sun was out! So I had to “passa på” and went for a long walk and everyone I was meeting were smiling and before I knew it, I was too.

It is afternoon now and I still haven’t started with my studying, but at least I feel a little bit lighter.

It’s not really about Waterparks

It is not as much about seeing a band three times in a week, in three different cities, three different countries even, as it is about me. It is about the rush. It’s about the risk I take when I’m skipping days in Uni, and missing shifts from work. It’s more about the adventure. Escaping the every-day-life-routine, WHICH I AM SO FUCKING TIRED OFF.  It’s the feeling I get when taking a leap, into the unknown, knowing I am an adult and I should act more responsible or whatever. It’s about that sense of freedom you get when you realize only you are the boss of you and you can do whatever the hell you want to do. I am flying now.

I am almost twenty-six years old. I am a year away from graduating from a five-year long university education (for a profession I am not really sure about anymore?). I study full time and work part-time. I always pay my rent on time and I eat my greens and all that or whatever. Anyways. I’m going to see Waterparks. And I am going to do it in three times (in the time period of four days). In three different cities (in which neither I live in). In three different countries. I am going to spend nights on busses, and I am going to miss precious time studying. But more importantly, I am going to be happy and I am going to feel alive.

It’s not really about Waterparks, but it is also a little bit about Waterparks.

fleur and harry got people they truly loved taken, fleur’s sister, and ron is “as good as” his brother (referencing when molly weasley said harry was as good as her son)

cedric had been dating cho for like three months?? yeah they were friends but like im sure cedric had better friends, especially considering him and cho weren’t even in the same year

and viktor barely knew hermione, he had not only just met her, their communication was also spotty at best bc of the language barrier. taking hermione makes even less sense, the only way i can see it working is that krum was infatuated and he had no close friends at durmstrang bc of his quidditch career

like if anything it would be cedric and krum that should be embarrassed bc it’s like accidently saying “i love you” too early in a relationship
