HANNAH MONTANA: THE MOVIE (2009) Dir. Peter Chelsom
Magneto was Right, X-Men: The Last Stand
See, when I say that the X-Men should be a period piece, and that the early 2000s are the absolute last moment they can be set at, but they really should have stuck with an earlier decade? This is what I'm talking about. Magneto being a child during the Holocaust is something that is really ingrained in our current view of the character, exactly because of these movies, but if they had kept his age as 60+ years in the 1960s, or even the 1980s, then he would have been an adult for all of it. Old enough to see the political landscape before the worst came to pass, old enough to remember the early days and recognize the warning signs from his own lived experience.
Anyway, as the original post said, MAGNETO WAS RIGHT.
AQUAMARINE (2006) dir. Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum
The Circus arrives without warning...
“This is, in part, why there is less magic in the world today. Magic is secret and secrets are magic, after all, and years upon years of teaching and sharing magic and worse. Writing it down in fancy books that get all dusty with age has lessened it, removed its power bit by bit.”
The Night Circus, Erin Morgenstern
You have eight children. Eight pieces of your husband to remember him by. Eight!
I do not know if it is wise for me to stay.
CINDERELLA (1950) BRIDGERTON, SEASON 4 (2026)
We're all gonna clap and cheer and imagine him having birthday pie with his angel husband in a beach house overlooking the ocean because that's what he deserves <3
