SO Madoka Musica, in contrast with timeloop miku au, takes place in a universe where the plot of Madoka (or at least one timeline that Homura happens upon) happens after Symphogear. im kinda nebulous about the timeline right now, but im thinking maaaaybe 5 years or so later? possibly a bit longer.
Hitomi Shizuki doesn't like keeping secrets from her best friends, but if it means keeping them safe, she'll do it. The first of a next generation class of Symphogear wielders, she uses her old tea and dance lessons as cover for her new sword lessons with Tsubasa Kazanari herself. They're necessary if she's to someday wield Galatine, the Sunlit Sword, in the field alongside her seniors. Though hopefully, that day won't have to be for a long time yet.
anyways, im taking Hitomi and making her relevant outside of being a barrier for Sayaka. ...and also adding her to the "wow that crush was a massive case of comphet oh no I'm in love with a girl" pile.
i've got a bit less for this than i do for timeloop miku, so bear with me here.
i've yet to come up with exactly how SONG discovered Hitomi, and how they'll discover Madoka... maybe they did a nationwide survey of girls schools in order to find new adapters or something.
but Homura knows something is off about this loop from the first day at school, because somehow she's not the only transfer? there's this shy little blonde girl with a tiny braid and bright blue eyes who has a barely-pronounceable germanic name. she doesn't seem like much at first, just an unplanned foreign exchange student, but there's something about the girls eyes that makes her seem older than she actually is. as much as she hates when outside factors are added, Homura is going to have to keep an eye on this Elfnein girl. it doesn't help that she seems to integrate with Madoka's friend group so quickly...
I'M PUTTING ELFNEIN IN SCHOOL! BECAUSE SHE DESERVES TO HAVE NORMAL GIRL EXPERIENCES! even if its just so she can back up Hitomi if anything weird happens, which that energy flux the other day that she couldn't pinpoint definitely seemed to qualify as!
Sayaka calls her Elfie.
like i said i don't have much plot yet just vibes. but i DO have two little mini files for Hitomi's Symphogear, and the one that ends up being Madokas!
SG-r04: Galatine
Epithet: The Sunlit Sword

Notes: has the conceptual property of "sunlight", being associated with the round table knight gawain who was said to be stronger in sunlight.

Notes: a bow that could upset the balance of the universe.
various other happenings in this verse include:
- kirika and kyoko arguing over whose pole weapon is cooler
- elfnein having severe beef with kyubey
- homura having lost her sense of empathy (towards anyone that's not madoka) to the point that wielding a symphogear herself is impossible (at least without another character arc)
- chris and madoka archery lessons
- mami lives but she's down an arm
- sayaka still has a bad time but in a different way
- homura gives the entirely of SONG war flashbacks when she starts saying shit that finé would say
everyone is traumatized in new and exciting ways but everyone lives . goodnight
hmmmm thinking about my old magical girl trinity verse. flower power / rainbow force / star light star bright. they all take place in a connected multiverse and each series + team has their own patron goddess of a trio of sisters. astraea, the eldest, is patron of the star light star bright team; iris, the middle child, is patron of the rainbow force team; flora, the youngest, has a massive case of youngest sibling syndrome and may have messed up a little with the flower power team. they'll forgive her eventually...
i didn't even realize this when i made them but their age is in order of which one existed first. stars had to exist first in order for the light spectrum to exist. light later allowed plants to grow. a serendipitous little thing that i just kinda stumbled on. either that or high school me was bigger brained than i remember
