Justin Timberlake is being honored tonight - whatâs your favorite Justin song?
PM: Beiby >> FlynnRaider
PM: I didn't say I didn't think highly of you. I said that your reputation doesn't hold much water with me.
PM: You're telling me I'm /not/ super impressive and intimidating and totally brag worthy?
this can only go poorly
What:Â Siblings talk love life
Who: Flynn Fam @italianelf-sophia
Where: Settlement where Daphne and Sophia live
Notes:Â Katya and Bei run
PM: Beiby >> FlynnRaider
PM: How is that hurting your pride?
PM: I mean, when somebody says they don't think very highly of you, ouch. A man needs a moment.
PM: Beiby >> FlynnRaider
PM: I'm merely being honest.
PM: Way to give my pride a hit.
PM: Beiby >> FlynnRaider
PM: For what it's worth, that reputation is non-existant to your mythical sister and hanging on by a thread for me, so.
PM: Wow....WOW. Tell me how you really feel.
PM: Why would I do that? I tend not to ask for embarrassing stories about friends. Though I do, admittedly, enjoy listening to them.
PM: Unfortunately, Sophia is also the type to offer them up. It would not go well for me.
beibyblackmage:
PM: Well, sounds like it would certainly be interesting for me.
PM: Thatâs what Iâm worried about. I have a reputation to upkeep.
PM: Why would I do that? I tend not to ask for embarrassing stories about friends. Though I do, admittedly, enjoy listening to them.
PM: Unfortunately, Sophia is also the type to offer them up. It would not go well for me.
matthiasthegamedev:
âI was more so comparing intelligence at large than between two individuals when the argument started.â Matt arched an eyebrow before he shook his head slowly. âI have places to be. Get a leash.â He called before he turned and disappeared into the crowd.
He just shrugged. âWow. Idiot doesnât even know how to argue. Câmon Romulus.â He gestured for the oversized pup to trot after him.
PM: And why would blackmail material even come into play?
PM: Youâre telling me you wouldnât ask for embarrassing stories?
matthiasthegamedev:
âIntellectuals such as those could not be compared, but it is a safe assumption that they are within the top ten to five percentile when it comes to intelligence versus the population at large. So to compare intelligence between a person and the mass of the world, then Iâd argue it is feasible.â
Leo blinked. âThis entire argument was about comparing two individuals in different fields. Not the population at large. So I donât quite see how we went off the rails here.â
italianelf-sophia:
âIâm actually five levels above you.â She pointed out with a grin.Â
âYou know, topino, I really donât like the look on your face right now.â
PM: Blackmail material?
PM: Childhood shenanigans. Embarrassing photos. The works.
matthiasthegamedev:
âIt is a rather easy assumption that Albert Einstein was smarter than the vast majority of the population, is it not? His specialty may have been mathematics but that does not diminish his overall intelligence. Though I wonât disagree with the last bit.â He smirked.
âYes, but how do you compare someone like Socrates or Leonardo da Vinci to him and pick whoâs smarter? They occupy entirely different fields. Itâs just not feasible.â He shrugged. âIâm not arguing that heâs not smart. Just that comparing something that isnât quantifiable just isnât feasible.â
PM: Why would it be a bad thing if we crossed paths?
PM: Too much enthusiasm. Too much blackmail material. It must be avoided at all costs.
matthiasthegamedev:
Matt rolled his eyes. âAnd how would you categorize it?â
âWell, people are good at different things and different areas. Itâs kind of hard if you donât do the same thing. And you canât even compare education levels, because some people with degrees are fucking idiots. Itâs really hard to just point blank say to someone âIâm smarter than you.ââ He paused. âAlso, rude. But we already established that about you so.â
PM: She'd be thrilled to hear that I don't believe she exists?
PM: That you think sheâs mythical. Iâm thrilled to hear you donât believe she exists. Because that means youâll never cross paths.
