Steampunk is an fascinating trend right now, I made interesting discoveries through this style. When I start an original artwork, I usually find inspiration amongst my closest friends. Recently I went to my brother's place for a dinner and he told me about his last trip to South Africa where he had the chance to do a safari. He could observe lions, elephants, wildebeests and other amazing creatures. His pictures were so astonishing I felt I really had to draw one of these animals. 🦋Butterflies are beautiful creatures but what really inspired me for this one is my mother. She traveled a lot in her youth and she flew away in Greece for a year where she learned the language and the writing.
