fmdxsuji:
“i’m not really sure what this smudged lipstick look is supposed to accomplish.” after a few takes of group choreography, it seems that the music video filming has taken a turn into individual scenes. sitting in the waiting room couch, she stares at the makeup mirrors set in front of the members, wondering about the aesthetic behind her makeup. she takes a look at her leader, her lips pursed and brows furrowed because she thinks she looks sick for the lack of a better work. she knows they still have a long day in front of them, and there’s probably a good two or three outfit changes to go, and she’s wondering how long the other members are going to take with their scenes. “do you think i’m supposed to look like some abandoned lover who’s been hurt?” a lot of the times, suji can’t figure out the correlation between their songs and music video, and she wonders if there’s even a story line behind this one.
@fmdcherry, psycho music video filming
no fuse concept has ever given cherry clothes that she actually feels comfortable in. it’d be difficult to, unless gold star decided that they would be doing a more “boyish” concept which… wasn’t very likely. for that reason, cherry was more than used to feeling uncomfortable in what she was supposed to wear. or, at the very least, the difference between who she was and who she was supposed to be was clearer and made it easier for her to be… well, cherry, rather than kyunghwa. at least for the scene she’ll be shooting next she’s wearing pants instead of a dress. “ it’s probably just for the sake of dramatics, ” when are the aesthetics of one of their videos ever related to what the song is truly about? zimzalabim was a motivational song and the concept had been carnivals. “ aren’t you our main vocalist, suji? they expect you to have more emotions or some shit like that. i don’t know, you can ask the stylist but they are probably just as clued in as you and i. ”
