hello lovelies, so since anthony and boone did this, i wanted to jump on that bandwagon too since i have two muses i’ll be revamping for this next phase of famed and i’d like to make sure i’m not stepping on anyone’s toes. with sooah it’s a very easy decision since the change wasn’t drastic with fuse, so i’m planning on keeping her spot as MAKNAE, VOCAL, RAPPER IN EQUINOX. for jiah, things might differ a little bit since i’m indecisive af even before this happened, but i might stick with MAIN DANCER, LEAD VOCAL IN SELENE or LEAD VOCAL IN CALYPSO, i’m not a 100% on it yet. the faceclaims are going to stay as they are with minju and taeyeon because i love them, and i don’t think any major things would be changed that affect the interactions they might have with others, but again, too soon to say something for sure. wooram, my babe, will not comeback to this unfortunatelly, at least not right now. maybe i’ll come up with a third muse who’s a mix of him and something else that i’ve been working on for a couple of weeks. we’ll see. i’m very excited for this new step that the rp is taking, and i’m very excited to write with you all again soon.

These are songs that you won't ever see Sooah perform for the sake of the image that gold star wants to keep for her, but they are bops that she enjoys quite a lot. She has practiced the choreographies of some of them just for fun and sung others for practice. Imagine being that relevant. “oh god, no. the first time i forgot it in my bath robe at the hotel and i realized at the airport.“ he laughs, already embarrassed as he cover his face with one hand. it really wasn’t like him to forget his belongings anywhere, it was a first for jakyung. “the second time it was while we flew from the states to here. it was on the flight. couldn’t go back and get it, who knows whats happened with both of them.“

Sooah pouts almost imperceptibly, and her eyes are the most sympathetic because now that she thinks about it, she realizes that the staff couldn’t be having it any easier than Origin themselves. She imagines how hectic it must be to always be moving countries and spending so long away from home when they aren’t even the performing parts of the business. “You’re right, that was silly of me to say. You all must be so glad to be home again. I can’t imagine how it must be for the whole crew,” her expression eases, and Sooah smiles thankfully for the reassurance. At the suggestion of the flavor for a next time, her eyes brighten up, and her jaw drops slightly, “that sounds like a very good idea, I knew I could count on you to give me genius ideas, oppa,” Sooah says excitedly, her brows creased in delight.

Sooah doesn’t even have the decency of pretending not to be happy that Jakyung takes another muffin from the batch. Silly as it might be, she now understands what her mother used to say about being pleased to see people eat the food she made. “Fully English? Have you ever done something like this before? Not that I don’t think it’ll do well, after all, it's you guys but sounds ambitious. How do you feel about that?” she decides to ask after a little pause. In Sooah’s case, it doesn’t mean a lot saying that she’s not a fan of some of their songs, but who knows how others react to changes like this. She can learn a thing or two. “Parents don’t get along with communicating only with phones, so I hope you get the chance to see them soon. Thankfully my family is all here in Seoul, and even then, it’s a little difficult to go see them regularly,” Sooah adds with a humph and a shake of her head.

Sooah chuckles and covers her mouth behind her fingers, weirdly sympathizing with his situation even though she never lost her phone anywhere. “I understand losing your phone on the flight because that has happened to me too, but with my passport and my manager had to hurry back and get it for me, bless his heart. But I’ve never left stuff at the hotel. I think I re-check my belongings a handful of times before leaving.”

CHO SOOAH — HEADCANON #16 (DANCE)

SUMMARY: because i’ve been watching quite a few rina, lucy and may fancams nowadays since sooah got their lines, i thought i should write something to track sooah’s relationship with dancing, and how she’s practically a coach to herself when it comes to it. this is a headcanon about dancing and not performance. if remember, i might do another one for the other skills. also, i think it’s obvious but i’m not a dancer, and neither is sooah, so this is our non-professional thoughts about it. WC: 602

Sooah didn’t know how to make a step in the right direction when she started training in Gold Star. Two left feet, clumsy and uncoordinated. Not enough swag, not enough control of her body to hit the movements like the other trainees. Sooah was as green as someone can be about dancing, even more than singing or rapping, and that was obvious to everyone who cared to paid attention.

First and foremost, Sooah was always a little wobbly. She wasn’t great at sports in school, and she wasn’t the fastest runner either. She was very stiff, and she didn’t trust herself to not end up falling in her face if she tried doing something more sophisticated like racing her friends to the gate. She was also very shy and didn’t want to get more attention to herself from that (or for anything, really), so Sooah never tried to fix that, or get better at it. As long as the PE classes allowed her to do the easy stuff, she was safe.

But then she became a trainee, and that had to immediately change. Of course, she didn’t audition with a dance routine, so there wasn’t a great expectation on her to be good at it, but as idols, they are expected to be at least regular all-rounders and Sooah wasn’t that at all. There was a reason why some trainees thought she was meant to be an actress trainee and not an idol, and that she was just lost in the wrong department.

Thing is, Sooah is stubborn as a mule. It may not look like it from how she turned out years down on the road, but she’s very harsh on herself to get proper results if that’s something that she signed up to, and she kind of did the day she auditioned and got herself a place as a trainee. Of course, she was very discouraged when she first started training. Everyone was better than her from her point of view, and her point of view was quite accurate.

But Sooah trained her ass off, and whoever says otherwise is jealous or bitter, and I said what I said. She might not be the most qualified, and she certainly wasn’t ready for a debut if compared to some other people, but Sooah was quite impressive in her learning evolution. She went from -10 to at least a 40 in that one year and four months of training, so you see, for someone who didn’t have any experience, she grew a lot in a short time.

She’s still Fuse’s weakest dancer, I think. She’s nowhere near their leader and much less Kiana, but she doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb anymore. Sooah has been training to get better at moving her body with more fluidity, and she’s allowing herself to look a bit like a fool from time to time. She’s also asking more questions and wanting others to give her feedback so her moves look clearer and the execution is done better. She trains a lot of hours to get the best result she can get, which isn’t much if compared to others, but Sooah learned that if she keeps comparing herself to someone else, she’ll keep downplaying her achievements.

So, what we know is that Sooah will keep trying to get better in what she does, because by the end of the day, this is her full-time job and, despite what others may say or think, she’s very focused on proving that lacking natural skills don’t automatically make you worst than everyone else. It’s the attitude that counts.

his house is already getting too cluttered for his liking. too many stupid things that he’s never going to use, too many gifts that he’d been so awkward about accepting. dowoon throws a glance over his shoulder to see if there was any junk lying around behind him for sooah to see. but no, save for a sleeping chihuahua next to him as he lays on his stomach on his bed, his feed is clear. he’s never been good at taking anything physical, but he supposed, if he was, on the off chance, to ask for something … “tell me more about these chips though. what flavour are they?”

“Oh shush, there’s no such a thing as owing me anything. I like bringing some silly gifts to the people I like, it’s no problem,” Sooah counters as she looks around the room in search of her wallet and room keys. She’s always the person who ends up losing those anyway, so it makes sense that she can’t find them anywhere in her immediate sight. “You know, I’ve been paying Yuanjun’s meals recently, so this is nothing in comparison. Just let me know if something comes to mind, and I’ll figure it out.”

Sooah instantly brightens up at Dowoon’s further probing. “Alright, so, I know this is going to sound terrible but I promise it’s not that bad,” she gestures by putting one hand up to where Dowoon would be able to see, almost defensive, but not dismissive of his opinion in any way. “Royce’s have this chocolate and salt chips that sound terrible, but are absolutely the best snack, and Calbee has a honey and butter one that is also amazing and a must-try. I’m almost certain that my manager will end up confiscating my money at some point, but it’s totally worth it.”

“Unnie, do you see unicorns more than once per year now? You must be very special to make them come to you like that, while drunk me isn’t that much of a fun sight,” and even though her smile is gone, there’s a little lift in the corner of her lips, out of fondness or amusement, either would work. Sooah scoffs and shakes her head in disbelief before focusing in Minjung again, “I’m an adult, unnie. I wouldn’t go with strangers, but also, you don’t have to, but I would love to keep your company. You’re great and lovely and I believe, a very decent bodyguard.”

Sooah scrunches her nose and sighs lowly, “well, that’s my fault. I gave you that cue. Just don’t do something you’ll regret or that will make one of out managers quit their jobs.”

“twenty two…” yuanjun sighed dramatically, as if the realization had the years catching up on him all at once. “my god sooah were getting old, where has our youth gone? its truly a struggle. i can’t believe the industry is already replacing us with younger, better models.” a beat of silence. “well, not better, we’re pretty damn great, i’d like to see them try and pull that off.” he nudged her foot with his own under the table, hoping that his silly joke would hopefully be at least a little bit uplifting. “damn right i do, it has taken a lot of hard work. contrary to popular belief, this adorable, pretty face isn’t enough to get by on. this is my life’s work! years have gone into this! i will not be dethroned.”

“Wow, I’m terrified,” she says with her best blank expression that prevents her from breaking into a smile. It’s the same face she has to pull off when working on magazine photoshoots, so it’s easy enough to make it come by. It’s difficult to keep it up with Yuanjun’s overall demeanor, though. “You do know that saying fuck the system and be a rebel doesn’t change you in the slightest right? You still look like someone who would cry if a seven-year-old stepped on your toes,” she says mostly teasing but not completely. It’s rich coming from Sooah, but she always thought Yuanjun looked fragile.

Sooah rolls her eyes good-naturedly and shakes her head in disbelief, “you sound as if you just turned 40 and your joints hurt from blinking,” she comments with a smile that quickly turns into something else. Her eyes go wide, and Sooah leans forward, “do you think you’ll still be this dramatic in your forties?” Which she can only expect to be the prediction of his future, and even though she’s not sure of what it holds for them and their friendship, but she imagines for a bare second the two of them in this same situation but decades older. It will be good if she manages to keep Yuanjun’s company for the next few years at least, “I would be sorry for you if you didn’t have so much charisma. You were meant to do this.”

“for the next batch, maybe cut down on… how long you were mixing the dough? just so we get that chewy texture? but I’m not exactly sure on that one, really. I’ll google later and get back to you on that. but overall, the cookies aren’t bad, really,” he says with finality, smiling brighter as he did. “maybe I’ll join you when you make your next batch so i can learn, too?” there’s a lot of space for improvement really, and he doesn’t mind getting a few tips for himself. besides, it’s always fun to learn something new with a friend.

It’s super dry. Sooah is aware of it just as much as Sehoon because she had put herself through the struggle before for the cameras, too. She’s thankful for his extra effort to make it look like the moisture inside his mouth isn’t gone, but she knows what he’s going through. She smiles at him, but her eyes grow more and more worried as the time passes, and she’s ready to call off the whole thing the moment he starts coughing, but they have to keep it longer, if the instructions given to her serve her well, “It doesn’t surprise me that you have a sweet-tooth. I think we’re very alike, but I was just following the recipe, but I’ll keep that in mind for next time,” and please, let it be a regular occasion so she can properly do it right, and maybe Sehoon won’t be too apprehensive to eat something she offers.

Sooah thinks about responding, but she didn’t keep track of her mixing time. She just knows she spent a long time with the mixer working. She smiles at him sweetly, even if a little bit sorry, and tilts her head to the side. “This is very nice to hear, but I would honestly love if you stopped eating now, otherwise you’ll have a stomach problem soon,” she says while pulling the contender closer to her. “And well, that is a very nice idea! Maybe next time I get the chance to bake cookies, people at home will be able to watch it, and I’ll make up to you for this prank,” Sooah says while pointing at a specific point by the end of the corridor, where the cameraman appears, “I’m so very sorry to put you through this, and you shouldn’t have lied to me about these. I know they are awful.”

“Drunk Cho Sooah isn’t much better than sober Cho Sooah, so since there are no benefits, I prefer to drink my juice and look out for my favorite drunk unnie. At least for now, until we eventually part ways, because I know I’ll lose you in the crowd at some point,” Sooah says with a knowing shrug of someone who already understands the circumstances of their arrangement, even though they’ve never been through a situation like that. “Plus, I know by now that being the mom is just useless, so let’s think of me as the sister that lies for you so neither get in trouble, deal?” and that’s an arrangement she’s more familiar with, having helped her older brother sneak into the house.

The corners of Sooah’s lip lift a little bit, and she closes her eyes as she nods. She holds Minjung’s hand and looks at her sympathetically, “you too, unnie. Let those muscles relax a little and enjoy yourself. Pretend you’re one of these super-rich American kids who have nothing to worry about besides which car they’ll drive tomorrow.”

“its been a handful to say the least. ive never been this tired to speak english. i even spoke a bit of german here and there while in europe. i got to see a few places i was excited about, like the london eye and niagara falls.“ he pauses, to make sure he didn’t miss anything else “i also lost my phone, twice. that’s a new thing, never happened before as well.“ he says with a laugh.

“I would expect them to make a better decision with their best-selling artists. It looks like it isn’t the case, but either way, I’m glad that you liked them,” she says putting her hands together and holding them under her chin. Jakyung’s aura reminded her a lot of her older brother’s and that might as well be the reason why she felt a lot more comfortable around someone who’s not only older but also so much more well-known. “Are you willingly volunteering to be my guinea pig in your few days home when you could have perfectly fine friend chicken? I’m starting to think you’re some kind of a saint, oppa,” Sooah says with a playful expression as she breaks into a smile. She nods her head and hums in agreement, “I’m glad you mentioned that, I think so, too.”

Sooah was always an easily excitable type of person. Depending on the topic, she could keep going on and on, and her recent projects are an example of that. She grins and nods enthusiastically, “It was amazing! I hope you’ll have the chance to do it too because time seems to pass differently when you’re there, and with how much you have been working, I can only imagine that is something you’d appreciate,” she gesticulates a lot as she speaks, but in this case, she only rests her chin in her palm and sighs contently. “Who knows, maybe you’ll be able to appear on it in the future if the company allows it and you don’t have too many schedules abroad,” there were no talks about the possibility of a second season for Sooah’s show, but it doesn’t mean she can’t hope for the best, and getting people she likes to appear always sounded like a good plan. “We heard the demo. It’s not… my type of music, but I guess that since Fuse is known for pulling off weird concepts, it’s understandable,” she shrugs defeatedly. Sooah complained enough times, and they aren’t even making the song yet.

Sooah scowls and pouts a little bit, “but how did you lose your phone twice? It’s not very you to let something like this happen. Is it because you’re tired?”

Gold Star Media recently confirmed that Fuse’s youngest member, Sooah will be joining the cast of Amazing Saturday DoReMi Market.

According to reports, Sooah is set to join the panel of the tvN variety series, and her first episode is planned to air at the beginning of August. The Fuse member appeared in Law of the Jungle with current Amazing Saturday DoReMi Market cast member Knight’s Haon at the beginning of the year, and she’s wrapping the first season of her YouTube show Sooah’s Room soon, making Amazing Saturday DoReMi Market her fourth variety show appearance in 2021.

Amazing Saturday DoReMi Market airs every Saturday, at 19:35 PM. Sooah’s first episode will air on August 7.
