                    it’s not hard to tell that jingjing isn’t the smartest person in the world, forgetting everything, getting out in dumb situations and getting lost is a sure for something that happens every day to jingjing. he might as well just could have it on his to do list because then he’d at least get something checked off on it. but as said, jingjing isn’t the smartest, hence he’s lost. jingjing isn’t sure how it happened, one moment he was posing, another moment he was looking for a toilet, and he did find a toilet, but when he exited it, he had no idea about where he was. jingjing scratches his head, he looks to all sides, how could he be so stupid and get lost?

it was weird, this was one of his first filmings besides the ones he had done for vive, not that this was a solo thing completely, because he was still here with his members. jingjing reminds himself that next time he goes to wander off he will drag one of his members with him, that was he won’t get lost (that or they’ll both get lost). and just as jingjing is in his own world, he bumps into someone ( @fmdyul​ ) , oh fuck. jingjing bows and a sorry escapes his lips. jingjing looks at the other’s face and just like basically all the other faces here, he doesn’t recognize it at all, can’t put any name on it. jingjing realizes how long he has been staring, and that it’s a bit weird so he decides to introduce himself. “uh sorry, i am vive’s xingxing” he bows once again.

pool parties were not jihoon’s thing to say the least. social gatherings even less. he was always on the side lines, watching other people, making sure none of charm killed themselves or someone else on accident. sometimes he talked with his friends, sometimes he kept to himself. the lead vocal was never much of a social butterfly, however, the weather was too good to actually say no. plus, there were also mocktails, so that was a plus.

it was all pretty much going according to his humble plan. jihoon just stood by a table in the corner, leaning his elbows on it and sipping from his alcohol free mojito. he mainly kept his eyes on one of his closer friends, but soon after his phone was more interesting. he was watching some dumb league of legends videos before he noticed a shadow, someone standing right in front of him. with the straw in his mouth, jihoon looked up, brow raised, expecting to see yuju or someone from charm. yet, of course he was greeted by a semi familiar face. he couldn’t put a name to it even if he tried.

“can i help you?“ he asks, straightening himself ever so slightly, ignoring the unbuttoned shirt threatening to fall off his shoulders. the vocalist squints ever so slightly, it wasn’t due to a lack of lenses this time.

floor stretches finished, kiana opened her eyes and moved to sit up, but a pressure made the task difficult. the pressure had yet to register when rippp, and it hit. ki’s immediate reaction was a low gasp, and a turn to her shoulder to see what had happened. instead of being able to see what the damage was, she found a foot. high, high above that, the face of who she assumed was the culprit.

before coming to the dance class, the night before even, kiana had planned out her outfit. she liked to think of herself as someone with an outfit for every occasion. a dance practice with the other fuse girls in the safety of gold star, no cameras beyond security, had a different need than one that would be posted publicly. viewers would look into what clothing they were wearing. they wouldn’t want to see throwaway clothing from no name brands, or shapeless, boring outfits either. carefully, she’d planned out her leggings with a ruffle top and wrap closing that would hopefully look pretty enough when dancing to make up for the need of more simple leggings.

ki scurried up from the floor and to the mirror to look at her back, and... well... it was a ruffle top. now it might as well be a ruf, maybe a fle. her shoulders fell, immediately deflated, and her lips pushed out, a touch. “i really liked this shirt.” still visible in the mirror, kiana flicked the part of the ruffle unattached, floppy, and lifeless.

it was pretty disheartening, being shot down every time he asked about anything regarding him having solo schedules of his own. it seemed as though everyone else in unity was getting their chance to break away from the group and do their own thing. he wasn’t sure if it was because he was the youngest or because dimensions wasn’t sure that he had a lot to offer. either way, it left a bitter taste in his month whenever he approached his manager, or someone higher up on the food chain in dimensions, about doing something on his own only to have them basically laugh in his face. maybe laugh was a bit of an over exaggeration, but in ting’s eyes, they might as well had been laughing. that was how it felt when his manager walked away from him after dimensions’ company wide meeting, leaving ting there with an irritated frown on his face, eyes narrowed as he watched him walk away. he didn’t realize anyone else was there until he caught movement in his peripheral, causing him to glance over. “oh - hey, hyung. what’s up?”

“how’s the album promotions going?” he asked conversationally while he patted his pockets a few times before finally pulling out his packet of cigarettes. they were seated on the balcony of his luxury apartment overlooking the city. even though he liked his apartment, it hadn’t been his first choice. he had been looking at a loft a few miles over, but someone else had put a down payment on it before he could, so he settled for his second option. it was still just as nice though, at least it was in his opinion. which was the only one that mattered. “is promoting by yourself more fun than doing it with six other people?” he was asking to be polite, but there was a hint of curiosity there. everything he had done during the course of impulse’s career had been with his members, nothing was ever by himself. he pulled a cigarette from out of its pack and placed it between his lips, flicking his lighter until it caught flame.

music bank has some of the worst waiting times out of all the music programs. she’s never sure what’s the point of calling all these artists so early in the morning when they won’t actually be performing until 5pm. she thinks it was better when she was a mc because then she actually had to be present during the whole of rehearsals. 

thankfully, she’s not completely alone in her waiting time today as yul had come to visit her waiting room. it’s been a while since she’s sat down and got to talk to him, and he surprises her each time with how much he’s grown older. the first memory she has of him is when she saw him with his sister who was once a gold star trainee. never having a younger sibling herself, yul was probably one of the first to make her act like an older sister. knowing bits and parts of his family history only made that sisterly feeling grow, and now he seems more like a sibling than her actual older sister.

“million sellers, huh? you’re going to knock me right off of a first place nomination.”

when an extended break is given to unity, sunghee never hesitates to go home. it’s true that it’s rare nowadays for them to have more than a couple of days off – if it’s not unity, it’s champion; if it’s not either, they are busy working with music that can potentially be released in the future, be it by unity or someone else. sunghee enjoys a routine they’ve set for themselves – as close to a routine as it can possibly be, taking into consideration how an idol’s schedule is rarely ever organized during promotions –, but the aching for home is too strong at times for them to take that into consideration. so when unity is told they are to have january pretty much free, without much to do for champion members other than a photoshoot, sunghee arranges a couple of things; they schedule two of their music video filming for the first week of january and buys a ticket home.

being with their family is enough of a comfort that it doesn’t take them long at all to settle but it also means that it’s twice as painful when they have to come back. and all because of a meeting that could’ve been done virtually, giving sunghee another week with their family – but no, dimensions would never allow for those exceptions.

the first thing they schedule – after said meeting – is a dinner with yul. sunghee promised when they interviewed yul for music core, that they’d owe him dinner in celebration of yul’s comeback, and the time has come for said dinner to be cashed out. all of the unity members have the passcode to their apartment, and since sunghee is not expecting jaeyeol home anytime soon, when the door opens sunghee knows who to expect. “hello you,” sunghee greets him as they slice the meat. “the xiaolongbao are almost done steaming. it took too long to finish them so i’m making kimchi jjigae,” they look up, smiling at yul. “there’s beer and soju in the fridge, so help yourself to some if you wanna.”

halloween 2020: a shared love for scary movies finds charlie and @fmdyul at the lawn at exactly 10:30pm

Having no idea of how popular this segment would be, Charlie finds herself already outside at the lawn with tons of time to spare before the movie even starts just so she could make sure she could get the best viewing place.

Nothing ruined the movie experience than having the worst seatmates and she wanted to do anything within her power to avoid such nuisance.

Looking around for the perfect spot she finally takes a seat somewhere near the back, where they most likely would not be disturbed, yet not too far back in fear of the potential of other taller people obstructing her view of the screen.

With the seats secured, she makes herself at home, playing on her phone or striking up quick conversations with whoever that catches her eye to make the time go by faster. 10:30pm couldn’t come quick enough.

There was also the question of the whereabouts of her viewing partner. Last time she got wind of him he had seemed a little breezy already so the chances of him being fully too drunk to digest the scary movie tonight could be high.

(That is, if he actually manages to show up at all.)
