seonho likes to think he’s a helpful person. even when he’s not doing anything related to knight, he still likes to help out with anyone in the hjh building. not only is it useful for him being able to get a good opinion from other people, but he also just simply feels good helping others. whether it’d be for anything music related or anything personal, he feels as if he tries his best whenever he’s around to help out.
actually, he’s sort of thought about that today. he intentionally meant to help out evol with recording their comeback by giving them advice and helping out with mixing. but as marie–the worldwide media member of the collab group–walked into the studio, he couldn’t help but feel as if something was off with her. he had managed to befriend her a while ago when it was her first time coming to the building, so he feels as if this gives him the opportunity to solve the mystery.
once she was finished recording her parts, he enters the recording booth with two granola bars: one being for him and the other being for her. “rough day?” he asks her as he hands it to her. “if not, that’s pretty much the look that’s all over your face right now.”
marie prides herself on maintaining her independence. accepting help from others has never been an easy road for her to take — if she can do it herself, she will, and if she can’t, she is stubborn enough to waste her time trying instead of looking for assistance. it is in her blood to handle issues herself.
which is why the vending machine debacle has her thoroughly pressed. a single milk tea remained in the machine — the only machine in the building that carries her favorite brand — and no matter how many coins she shoved in, it refused to budge. the better part of her short break was spent vying for the tea, and yet she reaped no reward. her upset was palpable to the producers, as they exchanged narrow-eyed looks throughout recording, and now even seonho was feeling the waves of her anger. figures.
“fuckin’... vending machine,” she offered unhelpfully, snatching up the granola bar. “just wanted some damn milk tea. they can fill all of them full of 10 different types of fuckin’ fanta, but can’t even restock my damn tea.”
