Cam Schlittler Headcanons
a/n: This is my first Headcanons post ever. Please be nice. I’m a Yankees fan who has been watching every game Cam starts because he pitches so impressively. I’m hoping Yankees win tonight so I can watch him pitch tomorrow.
-First time meeting: kind of awkward, but sweet at the same time
-First Date: He probably would take you to do some activity whether it’s outside or inside, and then go to lunch/dinner, depending on the time of day
-It takes a few dates to prove how committed you are to start having deeper/more serious conversations
-probably won’t be 100% comfortable until a few months into dating
-start seeing his more reserved and loving side in private
-is less into PDA, mainly hand holding, hand on waist, prefers kisses in private
-typically has a very calm demeanor
-seems like a gentle giant when it comes to the people he cares about
-however if you are feeling uncomfortable in a situation, he will come over and defend/protect you (the man is 6’6, I feel he would intimidate most people)
-cat person 1000% (he has a rescue cat, Arya) and would be willing to help other rescues/strays
-big family guy (he doesn’t stand any bad talk about them)
-on days off, he likes to sleep in with you until the late morning

What is up with the Yankees bullpen. When the Yankees are doing well for offense and defense, the BP has to go and mess it up. Why can’t there be a day where both the offense, defense and BP be in sync.
This is still true completely with the games against Detroit. They have been doing fine until the relievers come in then they completely fall apart.

The Yankees somehow won this game against the Astros. It is all thanks to Grisham getting that homer and Bednar closing out the game. The smiles on their faces is nice to see.
Also this pic of Goldy and Rice gives off father son vibes and I can’t explain it.
I was at the Yankees game yesterday and got there early enough to see Ben Rice practicing catching.
There’s just something about him in the catching gear that just adds to him…
So happy that the Yankees got a win on the blue jays. They definitely needed that to help with the boosting of morale. Williams really did a solid closing the inning.
I’m also so happy to see Ben Rice hit the scoring homer.

That comeback was great. They all looked so excited and it makes me so happy. The look on Wells and Rice’s faces is just great.
I feel bad for Wells, he just can’t catch a break from getting beat up at the plate
