Hello there!I will try to teach how I neutralize the colors.should have some different tutorials, but I’ll teach how I do. Remembering that this tutorial will depend on what color you want to neutralize, in this tutorial I will have as base a yellowish scene (for scenes with other colors you just follow the tutorial plus change the opacities and curves of the tools that I will quote here now). Tools that I use: curves, solid color and color balance. 1º Curves → (image) with this tool you will be able to balance the lighter parts of the image and you can also darken the image/gif. 2º Solid color → (image) with this tool you choose a color that is the “opposite” that you intend to neutralize. If the scene is yellowish I choose purple color, If the scene is reddish I choose green color (pinkish - yellow / greenish - blue…) If you choose other colors it can also work. After you have chosen the color you will classify it as “color” like the picture above shows and you just adjust the opacity. 3º Balance Color → (image) with this tool you will be able to balance the lighter parts of the image, the shadows and and the darker parts of the image/gif. For you to understand better I will make available the psd of the above gif and you look at my settings and use as bases! DOWNLOAD.

The gradient map layers which make these duotone effect are included on the files and you can modify them as you want. The soft noise effect is too included on the files, you can modify, hide or accentuate it if you want.

Informations about the PSD files : • Dimensions : 600 x 800 pixels ; • The dimensions of the different shapes are indicated on the file ; • Different .psb files to add your own pics (click here to learn how use and modify psb files) ; • Modify the gradient map layers to change the duotone effect or delete it if you want to keep your pic(s) in full colors ; • The fonts used are Salome, Playfair Regular and Big John ; • Download : model #1 here / model #2 here.

I don’t know if this is a good idea at all, but I thought I’d post it anyway:

I know that quite a lot of people don’t appreciate it if you use their textures (or other people’s copyrighted art for that matter) in your texture packs. 

So what’s this? - This is what I call a bunch of “texture” bases. They’re made from my own resources as well as public domain images, and they’re free for you to use in your graphics and, wait for it, textures! 

How does it work? - Right, if you don’t know where to start with making textures, you can combine some of the texture bases above to make your own textures and release them as a texture pack!

But wait, doesn’t that mean everyone will make the same textures? - Well, I hope it doesn’t. I hope this will bring out creativity in people. Please do NOT limit yourself to these bases, but also add your own scans or other public domain images to create a bigger diversity.

You can NOT take an unedited base and redistribute it, always change at least the colors or combine different images!

An example of a texture you can make with the bases posted above is this one (if you see this, feel free to use it as a texture in your graphics):

If this idea catches on, I’ll make bigger packs with more extensive choice.

Decorative Brushes: Set 06 — Fun Scribbles & Doodles (68 total)

Adobe Photoshop CS6 .abr file + .jpg image pack to load the brushes manually if needed. These brushes can also size down fairly well (some usage examples) but do not size UP so nicely as they were made years ago on a dying monitor and I realized belatedly that I didn’t quite clean them well enough. -_-;; I do have a couple more doodles in the pipeline that are better though!
