So, DATEOTT? I don't have much to say about him. Just a silly little middle-aged guy living in nature

The album feels detached, like he's a hermit who once escaped the successful life that was prepared for him from an early age. Now he lives in a hut with his dream catchers, incense, a few plants and his thoughts. What else is there to do except to dream?

Even though I called him a hermit a paragraph ago, he's... not exactly one.He still loves people, is happy to talk to them and help them in any way he can.In addition, he often visits libraries, shops with incense or candles, studies all sorts of ancient rituals and teaches similar things himself. It is not to say that he believes in esotericism and astrology, but is clearly interested in all of this.

He's also interested in ntf cat, because of his eyes.

He has come to terms with all his problems and no longer feels them as problems. So he burdens himself with other people's problems.

Meeting him probably looks like help from him, a pleasant conversation and then... He disappears.

He is now actively communicating with Boingo, trying to help him with his apathy and relationship with his brother (Boi-Ngo)

Well... How does he helps...

As I said it before, I don't have many info about him. Ehhh... His name is Vadim because of local meme? Now that's all for sure.

I've been waiting for FOREVER to share to you guys MY FAVOURITE BOINGOVERSE STORYLINE but I didn't have any good drawings for it that would provide good context to what I want to share SO I WHIPPED THIS UP REAL QUICK

Okay so first of all, yes that is the ghost from the Stay music video. She is a lady who died in 1960 during her wedding day when an atomic bomb dropped over her village (the same bomb that caused the creation of soul). Since her entire body was ripped to shreds by the bomb, her spirit has chosen to possess an old television buried deep underground beneath the village. A broken piece of garbage that had been sitting there for ages.

While Soul was growing up in the cave, he discovered this TV and grew attached to it. He began lucid dreaming about the ghost when he would go to sleep, as it was a way for her to signal her existence to Soul. However he ended up falling in love with her in his dreams. The version of her in his dreams is not at all how she acts in person, and a lot of things she says and do is just a part of his imagination. Soul is in love with the false version of her, and would keep her trapped in that television to secure their relationship.

These lucid dreams come in random, and when it does happen, he'd always have to wake up eventually. Reminding Soul of how much of a LOSER he is and how he'll never get to experience he affection in real life.

At some point though, she does get let out, and Soul learns to move on from the relationship that was never meant to happen anyways. Since she had been in love with another from the start (her groom).

Of course this was all before he fell in love with So-Lo heehee 😊

I personally find whole album kinda... Passively aggressive or something? I know about all the background behind it, but still I based him on my senses mostly

That's why So-Lo is a host and journalist, who's don't really want to be there with those silly people who makes his life messed up. He boasts about his popularity and all the attention he gets and nonchalant with everyone around him and their made up problems. Life is good to him, who would care for more?

I I imagine him as not the most pleasant conversationalist because of all that arrogance, but he can still be interesting. As a person who has been to many places because of his work and has experienced three (or four) lightning strikes, he could tell you about it. He's also can be charismatic and more pleasant he just don't want it

And because I missed that excerpt from "Tough as Nails" he has nothing to do with the war. Rather, he suffered from the most insane relationships with people who have been persecuting him for almost his entire life. His background mostly based on "Gratitude"

Boi-Ngo... I think his author should tell his lore but I'm not sure when he will do that. All in all, he's a popular singer who's tired of insufferable part of being a star a bit. So-Lo's his fan /hj Well, it's the closest person in all city for So-Lo. They get along.

If we talk about the relationship with Johnny...

Johnny hates him and wants him gone. So-Lo doesn't mind if someone hates him but please STOP THREAT HIM WITH A KNIFE YOU WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING ANYWAY AND WE BOTH KNOW IT YOU LITTLE—

So, I made some... Album ocs? Humanizations? Designs? I'm not sure, but it's all highkey inspired by boingoverse stuff and in particular by the @gracestellaerie drawings!!

So, he is mostly based on Only a Lad album and some demos and his name is Jonhny yeah how clever and unique never call him that. Any other word would be nice

He's like the local town madman: he terrorizes the market, tries to bring back socialism, gets rid of "agents", pets dogs, etc.

He is often haunted by psychoses from an early age (around 10 years) about persecution by the state and the system, and because of his already poor behavior, the boy was no longer kept in the school and locality. He never returned and began to live in the market.

He is also partly French and communicates with Nothing to Fear. He ruined the cat's life, but let's skip that :P
