I love how John O’Donohue talks about the body being inside the soul instead of the other way around. There seems to be the consensus that the soul is inside the body… and the particulars may not matter in the end but I love envisioning the soul as an aura that moves and extends around me... sort of like a vessel of energy that precedes and guides me. When my soul feels at home I inhabit my body in a natural way. When my soul is at home I also come home to my body. My body has entered back into my soul.
“Held in the embrace of the soul, my body is safe, grounded, able to drop her boundaries and dip into the water of life.”
