just realised that my current writing inspirations come from an amalgamation of ferrante & le guin & hobb and now all of my stories are a reiteration of women going places and being obsessed with each other

no because i have been pretty dissatisfied with my writing (& my art but that is the perennial grudge i shall burden myself with) and would that i simply go back in time and write for the pleasure of it. i keep telling myself there is no deadline to meet and no mountain high enough to climb or whatever but the energy of other artists is too infectuous.
