My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalm 73:26)
Maybe today you feel that God has forgotten you; you don’t hear Him or feel Him anymore. As you think about your circumstances, you feel completely discouraged. The reality of what you are facing can seem so overwhelming; you might feel like giving up. But don't give up. The circumstances may be too difficult in human terms, but in Christ there is always hope.
"Is there anything too hard for God?" (See Jeremiah 32:17). Absolutely nothing! No matter what is going on in your life, you can trust that He is in control, and is working everything out for your good. When you wake up in the morning and wonder how you will face the day, God is working it out. God knows the concerns of your heart, and can provide all the peace, strength, and courage you need. So don't give up! Confidently hope in Him. Hope … and persevere!
Psalm 34:15-18 NLT 15 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. 16 But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth. 17 The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. 18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
The cross is empty and so is the tomb. Jesus is alive!
What does Christ’s Death on the Cross and the Power of His Resurrection Offer?
-It provides the way, to God
-It provides forgiveness of our sin.
-It provides freedom to all those who believe, freedom from sin, shame, fear and worry.
-It provides new life. We have a whole new life and destiny through Jesus Christ. We are changed, from the inside. He renews our minds. He changes our hearts and desires. He gives us a fresh start , a purpose for each day.
