Fomoin and CeresDao’s first AMA ended successfully!

On August 30, 2022 at 12:00AM UTC, Doris-marketing manager joined the FOMOIN community for a live AMA. With the help of this AMA, Doris responded to our questions from the perspectives of technology, application, execution and market, so that everyone can fully understand the competitiveness and development potential of CeresDao project.

Hello to everybody! I’m Marketing Manager for Ceres DAO, Doris. With almost ten more years of experience in the blockchain sector, I constantly keep a positive outlook on the advancement of Web3.0 and DAO!

Ceres DAO is the world’s first decentralized digital asset management infrastructure and management system based on DAO governance and powered by Web3. Using a new, standardized DeFi asset investing paradigm, Ceres DAO offers non-custodial, decentralized asset management services for digital asset holdings.

Ceres DAO is a community-driven organizational structure that, in terms of governance, offers a flexible mechanism that can involve DAO members in investment choices in a way that conventional venture capital fund models cannot.

Q2: Can you tell us more about the native Ceres DAO tokens $CRS and $CES? What roles do tokens play in your ecosystem?

Doris-marketing manager:

Ceres DAO uses a co-share model, also known as AB shares. There are two main tokens included in the Ceres DAO ecosystem, which are the CES Token and the CRS Token.

Among them, CES Token is an equity token, while CRS Token is a secondary market liquidity token. The price of both is 1:1, but the equity is different, and we will discuss each of them and the relationship between them next.

1、Equity Token — CES

The biggest role of CES, Ceres DAO’s equity token, is to determine the next action and direction of the DAO through on-chain proposals and voting.

The CES Token can be minted in two ways.

1) VC Pool (Mainstream Asset Pool)

VC Pool conducts CES minting through mainstream assets such as BTC, ETH, BNB, FIL and etc.

2）Bond Pool

Bond Pool minting CES via stablecoins such as USDT, USDC or BUSD. The VC Pool and Bond Pool have a daily minting limit of 1 billion CES Token. After CES is minted by the above two methods, it will be released linearly after 7 days.

The funds in the CES mint pool will be distributed in the following proportions.

· 50% — injected into the treasury

· 30% — injected into LP pool (converted into stable coins and matched with CRS token for LP tokens)

· 10% — Commission (5% for CRS buyback-burn, 5% for operations)

· 10% — Marketplace Incentive (5% for DAOs Incentive, 5% for Nodes Incentive)

2. Circulating Token — CRS

CRS is a liquidity token issued by the Ceres DAO protocol, whose primary role is to provide good liquidity to the entire ecosystem.

In terms of access, CRS Token can be obtained through CES pledge, DEX purchase or 1:1 exchange of CES.

CRS has a total supply of 1 trillion tokens, for which the specific allocation ratio is shown below.

· 60% — Mining Pool

· 10% — Foundation

· 15% — Institution

· 7% — Development

· 7% — Ecosystem

· 1% — IDO

3、The relationship between CES and CRS

Following the foregoing introduction, it is clear that the core components of the Ceres DAO protocol are CES, an equity token, and CRS, a liquidity token.

Users can acquire CRS Token through staking, secondary market trade, or the CES exchange, whereas CES Token can be acquired through the two minting methods listed above.

In terms of CES and CRS conversion, it is carried out precisely in a 1:1 ratio (not reversible). The ratio of this component of funds is provided below. At the same time, a transaction tax of 20% will be imposed on the conversion of CES to CRS.

· 10% — injected into the treasury

· 5% — injected into LP pool (converted into stable coins and matched with CRS token for LP tokens)

· 5% — as commission (2.5% for CRS buyback-burn, 2.5% for operations)

It is worth noting that both CES and CRS can be staked to generate CRS Token. Staking is critical to the long-term growth of the ecosystem. Users are incentivized to stake their CES and CRS for compound returns. The incentive rate can be adjusted to market conditions to avoid hyperinflation.

Q3: Can you share us the details regarding the governance mechanism?

In the Ceres DAO ecosystem, each DAO or Node has its own NFT (i.e. Rich Panda family), which is freely transferable. The difference in authority between DAOs and Nodes NFTs is shown in the following figure.

The assets used to cast the NFT will be distributed according to the following allocation.

· 50% — injected into the treasury

· 50% — Copyright tax

Under this governance model, the governance of Ceres DAO will have the following major features.

1. DAOs will involve in the governance and deployment process of the protocol.

2. After screening for quality projects or better investment opportunities, both DAOs and Nodes can initiate proposals to the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, new product releases, integration and collaboration with other protocols, and deployment in other Layer 1 ecosystems.

3. TOP50 DAOs can participate in the governance of the platform and have the right to vote. If the approval vote reaches 67% or more, the proposal will be adopted and implemented.

However, as the market value of CES Token continues to grow, becoming a TOP50 DA0s will undoubtedly require more funding. Therefore, subsequent communities may form sub-DOs, and sub-DOs may also enter the ranks of TOP50 DAOs as a whole (multi-signature addresses) to gain access to governance.

Q4: Can you briefly introduce the treasury and its investment strategy?

Doris-marketing manager:

The Treasury of Ceres DAO will utilize a mix of “Beta” and “Alpha” investing strategies. As a decentralised venture capital, Ceres DAO must take into account both rewards and risks. Since it can be hard to combine the two into a single investment plan, it is inevitable that more than one strategy will be used.

The Beta strategy accounts for a bigger portion of the capital in the overall investment strategy since it provides Ceres DAO with a more steady investment return that is relatively safe despite the volatility of the cryptocurrency market.

On the other hand, the Alpha strategy concentrates on potential projects and seeks enormous returns, which naturally also means that it will also face greater risks. As a result, the Alpha strategy will make up a smaller percentage of the overall investment plan, and its investments will be subject to more rigorous scrutiny. After all, unlike BTC and ETH, the Alpha project usually does not receive much attention during its early days.

As treasury continues to grow, it encourages users to participate actively in the Ceres DAO ecosystem through CES staking. The treasury dividend is allocated as follows:

1) 80% of the treasury’s revenue is distributed to CES stakers,

2) 10% to the top 50 DAOs and

3) 10% to project operation.

The percentage of the treasury investment dividend that is given out shows how carefully the project works to promote both its growth and its social responsibility.

A multi-signature wallet, as the name suggests, is a wallet that requires multiple signatures to execute a certain transaction. This ensures the safety of treasury funds as the loss of a single private key will not compromise the treasury of Ceres DAO.

Q5: Please elaborate the roadmap of Ceres DAO. What are the events planned for the second half of 2022?

Currently, there is an on-going whitelisting event.

The mining of Rich Panda NFT will be divided into 20 phases. Each phase of minting contains of 50 DAOs’ NFT and 500 Nodes’ NFT. Only whitelisted users can mint.

During the first phase of minting, DAOs’ NFT costs $2000 USDT and Nodes’ NFT costs $200 USDT. At the end of each minting phase, the price of the subsequent phase will increase. The DAOs’ NFT will be increased by $500 USDT and the Nodes’ will be increased by $50 USDT every phase until the end of the 20th period.

Thereafter, we will launch IDO, whitelists are limited on fcfs basis.

Question 3: I’m gonna ask a tough question for this one. What kind of problem does SNW solve? There are also some competitors on the market now, I wonder what key differences SNW has?

This is really a tough one lol!

In one word, we hope to solve some existing problems with the NFT projects, the DeFi projects or general crypto projects. We want to create a crypto, web3 and metaverse native space for projects and users and add on values.

To be honest, when we initiated SNW, we figured out that most NFT projects are lacking interactive user case scenarios. On SNW platform, users add more value to their NFTs with more interactive use, application, liquidity, and social gaming scenarios.

For DeFi protocols, we found those procedures difficult to understand, lack newbie guidance, and lack customer channels. Using the SNW platform to do task bounty allows users to complete tasks in a game-like manner and receive rewards in real-time.

In addition, using SNW to do AMA can make the scene more vivid and fun, which helps to select the real users and do the secondary transmission of the activity.

Our main difference can be elaborated in 4 points:

1)Diversity, openness, and abundance.

2)Multi-chain deployment from the beginning.

Thanks for the great question here. Actually, we would define and stress more attributes of gathering people, aggregating scenarios & dApps, and tightening the community consensus.

The in-game token SNGold is more like a rewards point, which can be used to proceed with payment or upgrade your NFTs, making your NFTs more unique and attractive.

I would say that financial factors would be a good way to bootstrap the whole thing in the period from 2020–2021, but as of now, most players, projects, and investors have all realized that no matter how sophisticated your tokennomics or mechanism is, it’s really hard to avoid the death spiral case.

So, the measures we take are very simple, minimizing the financial factors at the early stage, while encouraging users to focus on hanging around in the SNW metaverse world, and interacting with multiple dApps（which I believe would be the daily routine for native guys), and enjoying social stuff.

Question 5: Many people worry that the potential systemic risks of Ethereum may affect the Metaverse industry, which is deeply rooted in the Ethereum ecosystem. Since Metaverse products and the upcoming Web 3 are almost solely built on NFTs, how is SNW planning to overcome this potential risk?

This would come to how people understand the definition of Metaverse and the target of service. Let’s say, more abstractly speaking, we’re eyeing serving two kinds of people: 1)Native residents who wanna capture public attention or product promotion with an immersive experience; 2)The outside people who wanna step into the Web3 world, being more native.

So what we’re doing is somehow just “connecting the dots”, so let multiple DApps integrated into the app.snw.ai, while the NFT as the avatar is just the very first step to let you build your own identity or social status within the world, then you’re free to hop on any kind of things: social, promoting, growing community, participating in great dev grants, or simply showing off your portfolio or avatars.

Moreover, you would find that app.snw.ai is a metaverse middleware built upon multi-chain from day 1, not only EVM-type kingdoms but also the emerging non-EVM ones like Solana, Flow, etc.

Simply put, aggregating as much as we can to maximize the happiness people would possess within a fancy metaverse, and getting ourselves rooted in a multi-chain world rather than a single one, would be the way we proceed here.

There are 3 rarities: Epic, Legendary, and Genesis. The rarity determines the maximum stars and levels of that dragon. Of course, the higher the star and level, the stronger the combat power.

🧩 Epic refers to the dragons with an initial star of 3, that can be trained up to at most star 13.

🧩 Legendary refers to the dragons with an initial star of 5, that can be trained up to star 15.

🧩 Genesis refers specifically to the Ethereal Dragon 👻, which cannot be leveled-up, evolved, obtained only by purchasing the highest-level Mystery Box, SSR-Box, so it is very rare! The Ethereal Dragon can be bound to a dragon you already have and inherit the star and level of the previous dragon. (After binding, the Ethereal Dragon and the bound dragon cannot go into battle at the same time, because the bound two dragons are equivalent to one dragon.)

Actually, we often hear a voice from players that GameFi on the market is boring to play. But, like I just introduced, we are a traditional gaming company, and SNW is a card strategy RPG GameFi. And the game will provide you with an excellent gaming experience, where you can enjoy a full range of fun such as collection, strategy, horror and adventure. I think this kind of playability is something that other projects on the market can’t do.

The second is our well-designed economic system.

On the basis of the dual-token economic system that other existing platforms are routinely using, SNW’s tokenomics has made more optimizations in order to form a self-circulation system between GameFi, players, and DAO. In this way, we are confident that SNW can have a good and stable operation in the future.

The third is what we call unique operations.

We are running a new operating model that integrates IDO, NFT, Gamefi, and community. SAVER Token(SAVER) is a token given as a reward for progressing through the main story or PvP, and it is used as the payment method for purchasing character advancement items and consumables from the marketplace within the game. SAVER can be exchanged for SOUL by the ratio the internal operation policy stated.

In the PvP mode where the characters of different users fight each other in 1v1 matches or tag matches, users gain Ranking Point as a reward based on the result of the match. Acquired Ranking Points can be used as the payment method for purchasing special items from the PvP store. Ranking Point can be exchanged with SAVER.

I think first is growth – we want to see continued but more aggressive growth across all of our key metrics. These metrics are transactions happening across the network, assets held on the network, the amount of users that we're acquiring on the network.

More utilization of the network means more protocol revenue, and more protocol revenue means stakeholders are incentivised to participate in the network. So growth for me is the number one priority.

The second is talent. For us to be able to compete and build in an environment which is extremely aggressive and execution-focused, we need to be able to acquire the best talent in the market; the best cryptographers, the best engineers, the best community managers, and the best UI designers. We want to be able to bring on board the best talent in the industry.

The third for me is community. I think we are so early in our journey in building our community. As we get more and more mature and have the ability to build developer communities, we will be able to build communities more focused on certain layer one assets – communities within communities. And the growth of our communities across our various channels, whether it's Twitter, Telegram, or Facebook growing those out aggressively this year is a key focus.

Question 3: Please introduce the specific gameplay of Dragonaire and how to P2E?

As I just mentioned, Dragonaire is a Dragon theme card strategy RPG GameFi, which means the first step is to build your team with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 6 of different dragons. And everyone will directly get 3 free dragons once you log-in for the first time, so that you can directly play with “0 threshold”.

1️⃣ Gameplay I: Main Campaign (PVE Mode)

The first type of gameplay is Main Campaign 🌵. Here you will fight a series of computer-controlled enemies. When you pass a certain level, you can earn the token $DES, which is used to level up and evolve your dragons.

2️⃣ Gameplay II: Trial Spire (Dungeon challenge)

The second one is Trial Spire 🏴‍, which is the main way to gain the governance token $DEAR. And there is a threshold to enter it as I just mentioned, you need to stake the token $DEAR to get an item called Dragonaire Point, and then consume Dragonaire Point to start the Trial Spire, which means if you want to earn more DEAR, you need to consume some first.

3️⃣ Gameplay III: PVP Arena

The third one is PVP Arena ⚔️. In this gameplay, you’ll play against the real players, and the stronger wins. The more you win, the higher the ranking you will get. And the rewards will be settled based on ranking. This is also a way to earn DEAR.

4️⃣ Hatching

I also want to introduce a function called Hatching. You must have two dragons for hatching a newborn dragon. Each dragon can breed 3 times in its lifetime. Each breeding needs 5 days to finish. And hatching needs to consume a certain amount of $DES and $DEAR.

5️⃣ Strengthen Your Dragons

There are some ways you can strengthen your dragon to pass harder levels to earn more. For details please check our whitepaper.

Question 4: Dragonaire has Adopted Dual Token Model for The Ecosystem. Can you please explain what was the thought process behind Dual Token ?

Of course. Dragonaire operates on a dual-token economic system encompassing both token $DEAR (abbreviated for Dragon Evolution Augmented Reality) + token $DES (abbreviated for Dragonaire Evolutionary Stone). In specific, we can talk more about the utilities of the governance token $DEAR.

First of all, players can only pay with $DEAR when buying a Mystery Box in our official NFT Sale.

Second, a gameplay that mainly generates $DEAR in our game is called Trial Spire.

To enter this gameplay, you need to stake your $DEAR into the Staking Pool to get an item called Dragonaire Points, and then consume Dragonaire Points to start the Trial Spire. And players can also stake $DEAR to get the governance rights of the DAO treasury, as well as the community governance and voting rights for major decisions of the game in the future. Besides, the total supply of $DEAR is 100 Million and no addition will be issued.

And I would also like to introduce $DES, $DES is the circulating currency in the game. Most of the functions consume $DES, such as dragon leveling up, evolving and breeding.

This is just a snapshot of our tokenomics, but in summary, it is all for the community , for the players, for the NFT collectors , with a fully-empowered DAO Voting mechanism, deflation model, and valuable utility system.

Of course, I think this is one of the most asked questions. Dragons are our currently valuable NFT assets. To explain clearly, I will still divide it into several parts.

🟡 The first question is how to get the dragon NFT?

Buying Mystery Box is one of the ways, and we offer three types: R-Box, SR-Box and SSR-Box. R-Box, all three types of Mystery Boxes will be available in NFT Sale on our official website（https://marketplace.dragonairenfts.co/#/mysterybox）. The other ways to get dragon NFT are through Marketplace P2P transactions or through the in-game hatching system.

🟡 The second is about the characteristics of dragons, different dragons have their different abilities.

For example, the dragon has six elements: water, wind, fire, earth, light, and dark. Among them, water, wind, fire, and earth are the four basic elements. And there is a restraint between them. In specific, water restrains fire, fire restrains wind, wind restrains earth, and earth restrains water. And light and dark are the advanced elements, and they restrain each other. Each element has its advantages. So you need to consider the element buffs of both your own and enemy’s to build a team and arrange the position of each dragon.

Yes, as I just mentioned, the first step in playing our game is to build your team. The team consists of at least 1 and up to 6 dragons. These three free dragons can directly participate in the formation, providing the team with the most initial combat power, and help to pass the first few easy levels.

However, it should be noted that these three free dragons are not on-chain NFT assets and cannot be traded on the Marketplace, cannot participate in hatching, cannot be evolved and leveled-up, which means that their combat power is limited and hardly pass the stages of increasing difficulty.

To put it simply, these three dragons are an opportunity for everyone to try with “0 threshold”, but if you want to challenge more difficult stages to gain real objective benefits, you need to invest moderately to buy a certain number of dragon NFTs.

My personal journey in this space began when I started investing in cryptocurrency mining back in 2015. I started my involvement with NFTs last year when I became a clone X holder. Within the Neopets Metaverse, users care for virtual pets called Neopets while exploring and interacting with the many lands of Neopia (the world of Neopets).

Spanning from the frigid peak of Terror Mountain to the bustling Marketplace of Neopia Central to the spooky, twisted paths of the Haunted Woods, the world of Neopia offers a nearly unlimited bevy of experiences for Neopians.

Neopia is a planet with themed lands inhabited by Neopets, Petpets, and a host of other NPC creatures. Each land features its own ecosystem, like the treasure-filled, arid dunes of the Lost Desert, the sticky, orange-flavored ground of Jelly World, or the mighty bulwark of Altador, long hidden city of heroes.

The lands of Neopia have their own unique landmarks, shops, games, and attractions. Neopia follows its own calendar and time zone, which runs concurrent with real-world Pacific Time, and has its own unique celebrations of certain real-world holidays such as Halloween and Christmas. The world of Neopia also has Neopian-specific holidays! Celebrate the liberation of Grundos everywhere during Grundo Independence Day, or send your fellow Neopian that rare Usuki Doll they have on their wishlist during the Day of Giving. If holidays aren’t your thing, we’ve got you covered: March 3rd has been Canceled Due to Lack of Interest.

Other than feeding and caring for their Neopets when they grow hungry or ill, there are no required gameplay objectives; Neopets Metaverse is a “sandbox” style game in which Neopians have agency to decide on what elements of the world that they wish to engage with. Whether through single-player PvE quests and mini-games, socializing with friends in the Neohome, crafting and selling through the marketplace, or multiplayer PvP battles, the Neopets Metaverse offers Neopians a diverse array of choices in how they navigate Neopia.

Neopets themselves exist in a wide variety of species and variants. Players can interact with their Neopets using obtainable items such as books, food, and toys, and Neopets can be customized with wearables, clothing, and accessories.

The crux of player interaction and socialization is the Neohome, a customizable home that players can furnish with furniture, decorations, wallpaper, and flooring.

Question 3: Is Neopets Metaverse planning on launching token?

Yes we are planning to launch our token.

NeoPoints Meta ($NPM) is Neopets Metaverse's native token for in-game economy and governance. $NPM can also be swapped into $CSM (one-way exchange, exchange rate TBD).

Codestone Meta ($CSM) is Neopets Metaverse's native in-game currency for the free-to-play and free-to-earn gameplay experience.

Our goal with $NPM and $CSM is to incentivize a flourishing ecosystem among token holders, investors, and players in exciting and innovative ways. The mechanisms described above have three main goals:

1) Lower the barrier of entry by enabling the community a free-to-play and free-to-earn experience.

2) Reward players for interacting with Neopets Metaverse while simultaneously incentivizing them to hold on to their tokens so they can claim additional rewards and/or tokens.

3) Decentralize the ownership and governance of Neopets Metaverse in accordance with our long-term vision.

Brian - Partnership Manager:

We are working hard to refine specifics on gameplay and blockchain design. Once details are confirmed, we will release additional information. For now, the team is actively working with our community and advisors by gathering feedback and incorporating it into our existing plans.

We are excited to bring our vision to life, and we invite fellow Neopians and creatives of old and new to join us on this exciting journey!

Our private testnet alpha launch is slated for Q3 2022. Q4 2022 will usher in our alpha 2 launch as well — both public and private alpha launches will be desktop browser-based. 2023 will usher in not only desktop app versions of the Neopets Metaverse, but also our beta launch, complete with mobile versions of the game.

August 2022

Private testnet Alpha launch (For our NFT holders and those of the community on the allowlist).

This initial platform will be desktop browser-based.

Rest of Q4 2022 Alpha 2 launch (still browser-based).

Q1 2023 Beta launch. Release of desktop and mobile app versions of the Neopets Metaverse.

Q2 2023 and beyond Major updates on a quarterly basis include but are not limited to:

Palmare is the project A big Community-First #Web 3.0 Social Network #App with inbuilt #SportFi and #SocialFi elements. A Sports Social Network Application including variety of features and go on multichain.

People will join in and own their own profile, fill it up, complete the daily Quest and building your reputation step by step. The PAL token is the Governance Token which you must have to buy NFT to Join, and also exchange in any DEX and CEX when listing. Users can earn PAL too when users get to high level of each Challenge and special events.

Our app will provide social graph and earning features for Crypto fans and Non-crypto Users. We focus on three types of Earning:

• Train to Earn each sport you participate in can help you earn by burning calories (for riding a bike or any of your favorite sports)

• Engage to Earn users contribute content to the sports community and earn back from social engagement (include like, share, follow...)

We have about 40 rounds of public sales and now is our genesis round which have the lowest price to buy PAL token. After each 5 rounds, you can fix swap to stable coin so that if you can own PAL this round, at least your investment multiply 2.5 times (increase 250%) warrantee. The Genesis Round will start on the 10th of August, and the Whitelist Registration time will start on the 5th August.

To avoid the downfall of crypto project, we need to focus on real revenue of the platform, not the money from new user or the hype of project. We limit and burn nft supply in the beginning so the token emissions will slow down and then use the real revenue to burn token to maintain price. Token price will be maintained balance to remove entry cost for new users.
