Summary: You picked up the last ball and put it into the cart, carrying all the volleyballs. You pushed it towards the already opened equipment room and entered. As you stepped inside, the trolley suddenly got stopped by something. You went around it and you saw a big package on the floor, exactly at the spot where the cart was supposed to be placed.
Notes: kisala10 is finally back with a new one-shot fanfic! xD
This one was requested by divine_fanfics on ao3. Thanks for your suggestion and I hope you like it! (Cause I think I could have done a better job, but Iâm kinda tired TuT)

You looked around in the gym, eyeing every team member closely, especially the third-years. Everyone was practicing like it was any other day. The Nekoma volleyball club wasnât actually pulling any pranks on you or any other team member on April Foolsâ Day.
You were a third-year at Nekoma High and the manager of the volleyball club. It was around the mid of your first year at this high school when you applied as the manager. Kuroo Tetsurou, your classmate and friend, joined the club on the first day of school which was on April 1st. You had heard from him that all the first-years got pranked on that day. But those were just small shenanigans and they were mostly harmless. They served the purpose of making the first-years feel less stiff around the seniors. Kuroo told you that the seniors passed this tradition on to welcome newbies.
On the 1st of April in your second year, you had forgotten about April Foolsâ Day. You were completely unprepared and sleepy that day, so your upperclassmen used this chance to tease you, their freshman. Since that day, you swore that you were going to pay close attention on the same day next year.
However, nothing has happened so far. You flinched at every sudden move and you glared at the people making the movements but absolutely nothing occurred. The first-years were probably weirded out or scared by your behavior and intense staring.
Summary: âHajime, what is this?â you questioned you older brother, narrowing your eyes and pointing at the object on the ground. First of all, who would stuff their own childhood friend inside of a box and tape it? Sure, Tooru could be annoying at times, even soâŚ
Notes: FINALLY ANOTHER FINISHED FANFICTION *sobs*
Iâm also currently working on the fourth chapter of âSugawara Koushi X Reader: Anata no Ouji - Your Princeâ ;_;
I just hope Iâll be able to finish the chapter soon⌠Anyways, I hope you enjoy this one-shot fanfiction of my series âA Packageâ!
Ao3: http://archiveofourown.org/works/3907720
âIWA-CHAN, LET ME OUT!!!â a male person shouted from the inside of a taped, big package which lay in the living room. The owner of the voice was no one else than Oikawa Tooru. Hajime, your big brother just stood next to it with an annoyed expression on his face.
Today, Tooru decided to come over to play games with your brother and you just went away for about fifteen minutes to run an errand for your mother. Now you were back again and this happened. How could this occur in fifteen minutes??
âHajime, what is this?â you questioned you older brother, narrowing your eyes and pointing at the object on the ground. First of all, who would stuff their own childhood friend inside of a box and tape it? Sure, Tooru could be annoying at times, even so⌠However, after thinking about it for a bit, it appeared to you that he was at fault for something again. Your brother wasnât the kind of person whoâd do this to their own friend. So, he must have committed a really dumb mistake.
Helloooo~ Could I request a text convo between Goshiki and his s/o where Goshiki is looking for them while texting. He's getting all fired up and worried, but then turns out that s/o was just away from their phone for a bit. Thank youu :3 <3
Thank you for requesting this! Itâs really short though, so sorry about that ( ďźÂ´Đď˝) And the idea itself was better in my mind but after reading this so often, I honestly donât know how to feel about this (oT-T)ĺ°¸ But I still hope you are okay with how it turned out!

Could i please request headcanons for what type of super powers/magic the hq boys would have (and, if possible, what they'd use it for)? Also, good luck with the exams!! I believe in you :)
Thank you for requesting this! It was really fun to think of the headcanons and I used this page to search for different powers/magic. I wasnât sure which characters you wanted me to write about, so I used a random generator! I took the first 10 names and picked 5 out of them. I tried to get a variety of the teams, haha xD
And thank you for your encouragement! Iâll do my best just for you, anon (*â˘Ěá´â˘Ě*)Ů ĚĚ

Tsukishima Kei
Power: Mind reading
Have you seen Saiki-kun He is able to read the minds of people in a certain range but he hears all the voices in that area. He has learnt how to block the voices out and how to concentrate on hearing only one voice.
He uses this power to get information about his enemies, being able to interfere with their plans and developing the best strategy against them.
And honestly, he would openly show that he can read minds, smirking at a mistake the enemy made or an embarrassing moment which an acquaintance aka. Kageyama just thought off to mock him.
But it is especially fun for him to read Yahabaâs mind and poke fun at him because he seems to be desperate to find a girlfriend. Futakuchi is his partner in crime.
 Kageyama Tobio
Power: Mind Link
He chooses to use this power to develop mental links with other humans, in other words they would share their thoughts, emotions and memories with each other.
He has difficulties, expressing his emotions and understanding other people and vice versa, so he could avoid misunderstandings.
In addition, he would share a mental connection with animals because this boy does not want to hurt these small creatures. He just wants to pet them. (Some of them still run away because he is still intimidating.)
When Tsukishima mocks him, he would use this power just to emphasize his negative feelings towards the âsalty glasses guyâ (nickname made by Kageyama). Of course, Tsukishima knows about the nickname and he thinks itâs funny and he still provokes him because he knows that Kageyama is actually dying on the inside.
Yahaba Shigeru
Magic: Divination
He uses this power to gain insight into a question or situation by doing rituals. It is also known as âfortune-tellingâ. But he is also able to read the past and the present.
âOh, dear lord, please tell me that Iâm going to meet a pretty girl today- Okay, alright, then no.â He is doing rituals, just to see if he encounters a beautiful girl the next day.
However, he also helps people with his magic. People who canât remember something in the past or who want a prediction for their future approach him in his shop. They pay him but he does not always agree on doing what they ask for. It depends on the reason for their request.
Lately, Futakuchi and Tsukishima have been making sudden visits, so he has been trying to predict when they come and prevent it at all costs. He does not want either of them to make fun of him for still waiting for a beautiful girl to come.
Haiba Lev
Power: Animal Intuition
He is spiritually connected with animals, being able to empathize and communicate with them. Furthermore, he has an intuitive knowledge of how to tame them, socialize with them, keep them under control and solve their problems.
He talks to animals all the time, feeling connected to them. They end up asking for favors and he helps them out all the time. He is close to most of the animals and he ends up telling them about his own problems too. Animals are his best friends and he grew up with some of them. He treats them like equal living beings and he protects them from evil.
Kageyama is jealous of him because he wants to get along with animals naturally, as Lev does. Lev has a big heart and he tries to teach the raven-haired boy. Sometimes it would even work and he is able to touch an animal. The first time it worked, Kageyama cried. Ever since then, they have been getting along with each other.
Futakuchi Kenji
Magic: Animancy
His ability revolves around magic that involves the living, life force and souls. He can manipulate the things aforesaid. In addition, it is possible for him to grant life to the lifeless. His gift is both a curse and a blessing. Ever since he was a child, his family, his relatives or even his friends have abused his abilities. His parents used him to make money.
He is a famous magician who is known as âThe Resurrectorâ. His past made him mistrust humans. He still gets many requests from people but he only accepts them for a high price. Most of the times, he wants them to accept the condition that they will have to fulfill any favor that he asks for. If they decline after he finished his job, he will make their lives a living hell.
That is why he loves plants. They do not complain and they do not beg him. They are simply quiet, beautiful and soothing. Whenever he sees a dying or a dead plant, he will make sure that they live (again).
He met Lev by chance in the forest for the first time. Lev was burying a dead animal. He saw Futakuchi and he knew who he was. Nevertheless, he did not ask him for anything. He did not ask him to resurrect the animal. It surprised Futakuchi but he was intrigued by Lev and he decided to approach him.

Practice Match
It takes place after the Interhigh Preliminaries but before the Spring Interhigh
Oikawa notices the improvement in Karasunoâs plays after their last match and he decides to (unwillingly) contact his former underclassman Kageyama
He asks for his number from Iwa-chan with a rather sour face (Iwaizumi was amused about the situation)
And thus, Oikawa finds out about the practice matches against Nekoma
He is curious about playing against that team, he has only heard of their playerâs flexibility and solid receives
He wants to be their opponent in an actual match, so he decides to talk to his coach about his idea and the coach agrees
The coach manages to arrange a practice match which is supposed to take place in a few weeks
Thatâs when Nekoma and Aoba Jousai clash for the first time
Both teams seem to be riled up because it is their first time playing against each other
Especially the captains are into it, they provoke each other during the whole day (Oikawa started it and Kuroo tried to ignore it but it was starting to annoy Kuroo, so he played along)
But that only leads them to being more determined and persistent into wanting to win
After the match ends, the captains exchange numbers and they keep in touch
At the beginning, they only contact each other whenever it is about volleyball which they are both passionate about though because they have both liked it since they were children
This leads to them, getting along with each other and they end up talking about other matters like school etc. and thatâs the point where they actually get closer to each other
After Spring High starts, they always send messages whenever they have won
After winning against Datekou, Oikawa texts Kuroo that he swears that they are going to go to nationals and beat Nekoma officially in a match
Kuroo replies to him that Nekoma is going to be the one, looking forward to winning against Aoba Jousai

Kageyama closed the door of the passenger seat and he walked towards the apartment complex where his prom date lived. He walked inside the building, heading to the destined apartment. He stopped in front of the door and he rummaged through the pockets of his tuxedo, making sure that he had the corsage with him. Then he pressed on the doorbell which was labelled with âYachiâ.
He straightened his tuxedo which was made out of a black jacket and black pants. Underneath the jacket, he wore a beige vest and a white shirt. His bow tie and his handkerchief in his pocket were beige as well, matching with the color of Yachiâs dress. She had only told him which color she had picked out but he hasnât seen the actual dress yet.
Kageyamaâs hands were sweaty as he stood outside, waiting for her. He tugged his hands in his pantsâ pockets and he turned his head to the windows behind him. He watched the scenery outside. The sky was already pitch-black and the buildings were lightening the darkness. The city almost seemed to glow. Suddenly he heard Yachiâs voice, speaking through the door and he turned his head back. âKageyama, is that you?? Hold on a second, I just need to get my purse!â
His heart had skipped a beat. He put his hands over the left side of his chest, taking deep breaths to calm himself down. He was unusually nervous today. The raven-haired boy lowered his arms and he pulled out a handkerchief from his pantsâ pocket, wiping off the sweat from his hands. He put it back and he straightened his jacket again and he made sure that there was no dust or dirt on his clothes.
He stood intensely in front of the door for a few minutes. Then he heard the door opening, making his heart jump. His whole body stiffened. Yachi stood at the entrance, panting and with a flushed face. âIâm sorry for letting you wait for so long! I couldnât find my purse for some reasonâŚ!â
She wore her hair loose and she had curled it. The blond-haired girl wore a beige dress, matching exactly to Kageyamaâs clothes. The dress was sleeveless, revealing her shoulders and her neck. It was tight around her waist and from that point the dress spread out, reaching to the floor. The dress glittered from the top halfway through the dress.
She was absolutely gorgeous. Yachi was also wearing the heart locket which Kageyama gave her to her birthday. He also noticed that she was slightly taller than usual. She was wearing high heels.
âUhm⌠Do I look weird?â she suddenly asked. Kageyama snapped out of his thoughts. He has been silently staring at her without uttering a word. âI should have worn a plain dress after allâŚâ
âN-naf- niffs- I mean you look nice,â he stuttered, rushing his response because he was silent up to now. His body started relaxing but he felt his hands sweating again. He wiped off the sweat with his handkerchief as Yachi sheepishly thanked him for the compliment. Then she told him that he looked good too, eyeing him from the top to the bottom.
She tightly held onto her purse as he thanked her for the compliment as well. Kageyama searched for the corsage and as soon as he took it out, Yachi hesitatingly stretched her arm towards him. He put it around her small wrist, brushing her hand which was warm and sweaty. He wasnât the only one who felt this nervous.
He let go of her wrist and she moved her arm to her face, taking a closer look at the flower arrangement. It was composed of white flowers which were surrounded by green leaves. It looked like a small bouquet of flowers. There was also a beige ribbon, tied around the bouquet. She smiled at it. âThis is so beautiful⌠Thank you for buying this for me.â
All of a sudden, Kageyama grabbed her hand which made her shriek out of surprise. But he gently pulled her arm down and he pointed at one of the flowers with his spare hand. It was a creamy-white flower which looked similar to a rose. But the outer petals spread out in a circle. âThey are called Gardenia. The florist told me that they symbolize purity and sweetness and also that they convey the message⌠that the receiver is lovely.â
Yachi froze at the last words. She couldnât believe that Kageyama was so smooth with his words. She took a quick glance at his face and she saw that his face was slightly flushed which made her heart race even more. He was nervous and embarrassed like her and that made her even more tense for some reason.
He pointed at the other flower. It was made out of two layers. Both layers had three petals and the layers were perpendicular. They were all connected to the middle where the pollen stood out. âThatâs a Gladiolus flower. It represents strength of character, faithfulness and honor.â
Then he released her hand. She still felt his warmth and she realized that she had touched him with her sweaty hands. She was about to apologize but she stopped when Kageyama looked her straight in the eyes, continuing to speak. âI wanted to pick out flowers which reminded me of you in their appearance and their meaning.â
Yachi was a flustered mess. Her heart was pounding loudly and she couldnât look at Kageyama any longer. She averted his gaze. She was afraid that her heart was going to burst. âTh-thank you for thinking of me while picking out the flowersâŚâ
He was still looking at her for a moment and then he turned his head away, looking at the long hallway. He raised his arm and he scratched the back of his neck, feeling embarrassed over his own words. Both of them didnât know what to say anymore. Then Kageyama coughed slightly, breaking the silence. âShall we go now?â
âY-yeah, sure, your Mom has been waiting this whole time, right?â the flustered girl responded hastily, stumbling on her words. Kageyama went ahead a few steps, leaving her some space to close the door. But as soon as Yachi started walking, she tripped over her own feet. Her legs were shaky because of her nervousness and she wasnât used to wearing shoes with heels.
The raven-haired boy had fast reflexes and he instantly ran towards her, catching her in his arms. Both of their hearts were racing from this shock. Yachi immediately apologized to him for what happened. âI-Iâm sorry, my legs just gave out!â
Kageyama called her an idiot for being careless. Yachi stammered an apology again. Then he sighed as his heart calmed down. He released her from his grip and he turned his back to her. He muttered: âGrab on to my arm. Iâm going to support you.â
Yachiâs heart was beating rapidly and her concern that she was going to die from a heart disease grew bigger. She quickly closed the door to the apartment and then she approached him. She hesitatingly slid her left arm in between the space of Kageyamaâs right arm and his body. She grabbed on to his arm and they started walking in a slow speed.
She took a glance at the corsage and she smiled at it, feeling soothed by the colors. Her grip around his arm tightened and she walked closer to him, speaking up. âThank you for inviting me today and for being so nice to me. I mean youâre always kind to me but⌠I just feel blissful right now.â
âNo⌠Thanks for being by my side this whole time, even though I can act like a jerk. But Iâm trying my best to make you the happiest person, so thanks for staying with me,â Kageyama responded honestly. He felt humble, talking about his feelings and thoughts which he hadnât expressed to her yet. But he didnât realize that these words alone were already making her feel extremely happy.
Yachi chuckled lightheartedly in response, feeling overjoyed by his words that made him feel modest. Then she replied determined: âNo, I insist. I should be the one thanking you for everything.â
The conversation kept going on like this. It had somehow turned into a competition. As soon as Yachi had realized that, she started laughing. They were already downstairs and Kageyama was confused by her reaction. Then she said merrily: âItâs nothing. I simply love being with you.â
Hi! I'm so happy you're open for requests!! ^v^ Can I request a scenario where Seijoh has a manager (third year) who constantly getting hit on and that makes the entire team getting protective of her? Thank you!!
Hit me with a car pls Thank you for your request! It was really fun to think of ideas for this scenario, so it ended up being really long, haha. Sorry, that it took me so long! But I hope that you enjoy reading this o(ăďźžâ˝ďźžă)o
(The crossed out words are literally the first words I wrote down for the scenario xD)

The school bell rang, signaling the teachers to end their lesson. It was lunch time now. You searched for your lunch box and you set it on your desk. You sat still, waiting for your underclassmen to arrive. Yahaba texted you during the break, asking you to explain an exercise to him and Watari. He said that he would pick you up.
âHey, pretty lady. How come youâre alone?â a classmate suddenly approached you, standing in front of your desk. You looked up to him as he kept speaking. You were acquainted with him. âDo you want me to keep company with you?â
âIâm sorry but Iâm going to leave soon. Iâm waiting for my underclassmen,â you replied, trying to sound nonchalantly. Your classmate wasnât a bad guy. He just liked fooling around a lot and he was really blunt. But you felt slightly uncomfortable that he was trying to get close to you the last few weeks. If he was simply doing it because he was friendly, then it would have been fine. But you knew that he was hitting on you.
âYour underclassmen? How cute. Wouldnât you rather spend your time with me?â he asked with a smug look on his face as he bent down to you. You leaned back, trying to put a distance in between you.
âExcuse me, the volleyballâs managerâs so-called âcuteâ underclassmen are here to pick her up,â you heard a familiar voice, calling for you. It was Yahaba. His voice sounded sweet but he only talked this way when he was displeased about something.
You smiled at your classmate and you grabbed your lunch box, standing up. âIâm sorry but I need to leave now. I already promised my âcuteâ underclassmen to eat lunch with them.â
You heard him clicking his tongue before leaving the classroom with Yahaba and Watari. The libero, who hasnât spoken yet, asked you in a concerned voice if you were alright. The setterâs expression was annoyed and he swore that he would do various things if your classmate bothered you again.
You laughed at their completely different reactions and you told them that you felt uncomfortable but that you were fine now. You thanked them for stepping in and as a token of gratitude, you would gladly help them with their studies. In response, Yahaba snorted because you had already promised to help them before the situation even happened.
After your lunch break, you hurried back to your classroom. You didnât want to be late for your next class. You recalled your schedule for today. You had to change the classroom for the next period. Then you entered the room before your teacher, sitting down at your desk and putting away your empty lunch box. The lesson started as soon as the door slid open and the teacher entered.
You had to pay attention for fifty minutes and take notes in between. The lesson passed quicker than you thought and it was time to walk to the other room. You packed all of your things, stuffing them in your school bag. Afterwards, you only had club activities, so you wanted to make sure that you didnât forget anything.
You headed to the hallway with your school bag in your hand. You passed by the second yearâs classrooms to go to your destined room. They were currently having the short break too. It was starting to get noisy. You took a peek in the classrooms as you walked by. You didnât know any of those people. Surprisingly, you didnât see Yahaba or Watari. They must have moved to another room.
But then you spotted Kyoutani. He sat in the first row, close to the windows. You stopped for a second and the boy noticed you. You raised your spare hand and you were about to wave to him but he suddenly turned his head away. He was acting like he didnât see you. You sighed but you let go of the situation, continuing to walk.
All of a sudden, you heard someone calling your name but they were cut off. You turned around but you didnât see a person who was trying to approach you. Were you just imagining it?
You were about to head to your next lessonâs room when you heard a loud bang nearby. You stopped in your tracks, turning around again. The other students were aware of the noise as well and they looked in the same direction as you.
Then you saw Kyoutani who stomped out of the classroom, shutting the door loud enough for everyone to hear. His expression looked grumpy. He scowled at everyone who was staring at him. Then he saw you and he glared at you for a moment. His facial expression seemed to have softened slightly. He turned away, going to the opposite direction of where you were heading to.
The whispering got noisier and you were watching your underclassman leave for a brief moment. You were confused about the situation but you were about to leave again. Suddenly, the door slid open and your classmate appeared, rubbing the back of his head. You blinked in surprise.
He walked towards you with a sour expression on his face. He said with frustration: âPlease tell the teamâs dog to stop being aggressive towards other people. And he should stop trying to meddle in other peopleâs businesses.â
Now, you could guess what happened by your classmateâs appearance. Kyoutani wasnât showing it but you believed that he was trying to protect you. âDonât call him a dog. And I think you gave him a reason to get mad at you.â
âWhatever,â your classmate responded annoyed, walking off. He wasnât in the mood to talk to you or anyone anymore. You kept your distance as you headed to the same direction. Maybe this incident was making him think that it wasnât worth the trouble to get close to you.
You entered the room and you sat down at your seat, setting down your bag. Your seat neighbor friendly approached you and you smiled at her, greeting her back. You were on good terms, so you were glad that you were sitting next to each other.
Now, you were waiting for your teacher to start the lesson. You werenât on cleaning duty today, so you could head to the club room right away. As you got caught in your trail of thoughts, your teacher arrived.
After the lesson ended, you bid your friend goodbye who was done packing her things before you. She wished you luck for the club activities as you wished the same for her. Then you left the room, walking to the school lockers. You took off your indoor shoes and you switched them with your outdoor shoes, putting them on.
You closed the locker and you heard two male voices, speaking behind you. You turned around to face two classmates. âHey, could we talk with you for a second? Our friend has been in a bad mood since the break and itâs pretty much annoying.â
They were friends with your intrusive classmate. They were standing rather close to you, making it difficult for you to leave. You felt uncomfortable, so you politely refused. âI apologize but Iâm not sure what Iâm supposed to do about it. And I have club activities right now, so if you would excuse me.â
You turned away but then one of them suddenly moved and he stood in your way, resting their shoulder against the lockers. âExcuse me, but weâre not done talking to you yet, âpretty ladyâ. We would really appreciate it if you came with us.â
He was imitating your classmate by saying the words which were supposed to be a compliment. But your classmateâs friends were being even more obtrusive than himself. You didnât like this situation. You tightly held onto your school bag, refusing one more time but you were interrupted when someone grabbed your arm, pulling you away.
You were surprised by it and you lost your balance for a moment. However, someone supported you, steadying your balance. You looked up to the person who had grabbed your arm. It was your underclassman, Kunimi. He was looking at you expressionless and asking if you were okay. You slowly nodded as he let go and you took a step back.
âIâm sorry for surprising you. But we couldnât think of anything else,â he apologized to you as you turned around and you looked at the scene in front of you. Kindaichi, your other underclassman, had pushed one of your classmates away, so that there was enough space for you to escape. âKindaichi, weâre done. Letâs go.â
âHey, is this the way you treat your upperclassmen??â the classmate who got pushed away shouted angrily. Both of your underclassmen were already pushing you forward to the exit.
Kunimi stopped in his tracks and he turned around, replying to them. âThen is this how youâre supposed to treat another person? She already rejected your ârequestâ and youâre still coercing her.â
Kindaichi who walked behind you had a tense expression on his face. He seemed to be nervous about this situation. Then Kunimi caught up with you. You heard a slam and swearing behind you as you left the entrance. The calm boy told you not to mind but that you should call for help the next time this happened again.
You gave a small laugh, thanking both of them for saving you. You probably shouldnât laugh at this situation but you felt reassured at their side. Everyone kept protecting you, even though you should be able to protect yourself. Both Kunimi and Kindaichi sighed. They were glad that nothing happened to you.
Then you separated ways, going to different changing rooms. You stood in front of the door, taking a deep breath before taking your keys out. Next, you unlocked the door and opened it, stepping inside. You shut the door and you proceeded to walk to the lockers, opening the one where you had already placed your sports bag.
You quickly changed your clothes, taking your bag with you. You left the room and you locked the door before going to the gym hall where everyone was already setting up the volleyball net. All of their heads turned to you when you entered. You stopped in your tracks, looking from one side to the other. Abruptly, everyone continued doing their work. You blinked surprise but you sat down at the stair case, changing your shoes.
As soon as you stood up, you pulled the bag along with you, heaving it over your shoulder. You turned around but someone was standing in your way. You saw an irritated expression which was directed at you. Your instinct told you that you should just leave the gym hall.
But he grabbed you by your shoulders before you could even turn around. You felt timid. You were probably going to get murdered at the spot. Then he removed his hands from your shoulders and he reached out for your face, pinching your cheeks. âWhy didnât you just forcibly push them away or call for help when you were cornered by those idiots??â
He let go of your cheeks and he sighed. You reached your hands towards your face and rubbed the spots he had pinched. âIwaizumi, I didnât want to use violence nor did I want to cause a ruckusâŚâ
âBut who knows what would have happened to you if Kunimi and Kindaichi hadnât been there,â he said angrily, crossing his arms. âI swear if I see your classmates coming too close to youâŚâ
âThen Iwa-chan would use his inhuman strength to crush their skulls,â the captain finished, appearing next to his enraged childhood friend. He laughed after making the joke and Iwaizumi frowned at him. âYouâre such a worrywart! They wouldnât dare to lay a finger on her on the school grounds and it was at the entrance where everyone was heading to.â
The vice-captain snorted and his expression softened. He pointed at his friend with his thumb and he replied, looking at you: âOikawa was holding a water bottle in his hand when Kunimi told us what happened. He just smiled and crushed his bottle.â
âOikawa, get wrecked!â you heard the other two third-years, shouting and laughing in the background. Oikawa cracked a smile, suppressing his annoyance and pretending that he didnât know what they were talking about.
Both of them joined you. Matsukawa put his arm around Oikawaâs neck, grinning at him. Hanamaki stood next to Iwaizumi, looking at the captain as well. Then your pink-haired teammate spoke up: âHe may not look like it but heâs really concerned about your well-being. Honestly, he can be as violent as Iwaizumi. But he wouldnât hurt them physically. He would demolish your classmates verbally.â
âAlright, itâs time for practice,â Oikawa loudly clapped in his hands, cutting off the conversation. He removed Matsukawaâs arm and he walked away. You watched him leaving and the other third-years turned their heads to you. The duo shrugged and they both smiled at you before following the captainâs lead.
Iwaizumi stayed behind for a moment. He suddenly raised his arm which startled you. Surprisingly, he ruffled your hair and he told you to be more cautious the next time. You fixed your hair as you watched him, joining the others. You closed the gym door and then you set your bag down. You felt better now. Everyone was trying to protect you, so you had to do your best too.
After the practice ended, you walked back home with the other third years. Oikawa and Iwaizumi lived in the same direction as you and the other two wanted to stay over at Iwaizumiâs place to do their homework. You stopped by the convenience store where Matsukawa and Hanamaki wanted to buy something. You all went inside, looking around for a bit.
You left the place first as the others were paying for their items. The automatic doors opened and you stepped outside, encountering your classmates from earlier who just passed by. The three of them stopped in their tracks. The classmate who got pushed by Kindaichi grinned at you. âOh, seems like we can finally talk after all. You really ought to discipline your underclassmen. Itâs rude to interrupt conversations.â
You felt your stomach turning over. You had a bad feeling about this. But you couldnât just run off. You wanted to clear this issue, so you stepped outside, making space for customers who wanted to enter.
âWhat the hell, guys? This seriously happened?â your other classmate asked in an amused tone. Then he turned towards you and his expression changed. âHey, sorry about acting that way earlier. And sorry, if my friends offended you in any way. They just wanted to cheer me up... Are you alone right now? How about you hang out with us? I can make it up to you.â
âIâm sorry but Iâm waiting for my friends right now. But I appreciate your apology and the invitation,â you respectfully declined his offer. You still didnât feel well but you actually had the feeling that he could be a good person. He just had an assertive way of approaching you.
âWeâre really not bad people, so you donât need to lie to us,â his friend who hasnât spoken yet replied to you. âIt was wrong of us to force you and we should have asked you differently. But we really donât want to harm you.â
You politely refused again, insisting that you were with your friends which was true. But they still kept bugging you, trying to convince you to go with them.
âThe lady said that she doesnât want to. Why donât you just leave her be?â a familiar voice said. It was Oikawa. The Seijoh third years suddenly stood next to you. You didnât notice that the doors opened again and that they had stepped outside.
âWe just want to be nice to her. Donât frame us as the bad guys here,â one of your classmateâs friends raised both of their hands, assuring Oikawa. They volleyball captain crossed his arms, giving him a cold look.
Your classmate who has been pushy since the beginning suddenly asked jokingly: âAre you supposed to her bodyguards or what?â
âLook, weâre not here to fight you. We want you to respect our managerâs wishes. If she doesnât feel comfortable then give her some space,â Matsukawa replied calmly, trying to prevent a possible conflict.
âWell, maybe sheâs just shy about this situation. We could help her getting used to this,â your classmate responded, shrugging. His friends agreed with him. Oikawa was about to respond to them but then Iwaizumi stepped in front of you.
âSheâs clearly not comfortable. Anyone can tell who has eyes and a brain,â he said angrily, furrowing his eyebrows and looking directly at his opponent.
Your classmate laughed in response, turning to his friends. He pointed at Iwaizumi, obviously underestimating him. âIs this shorty seriously trying to provoke me? What the hell is your problem, man?â
âI think you shouldnât see or hear whatâs about to happen,â Hanamaki whispered, pulling you away. You turned around to Hanamaki, confused over what he was implying to. But then he covered your eyes with his hands. Someone else covered your ears. You couldnât see anything and you could only hear the sounds damped.
You heard your classmate yelping and someone landing on the ground. You picked up loud steps, shouting and swearing from both Iwaizumi and your classmates. âHanamaki, please donât tell me that theyâre fighting-â
A thud, followed by a groan confirmed your apprehension. You heard Iwaizumi yelling and then the distant voices of your classmates, swearing again. Instantly, you removed all the hands, looking at scene in front of you. Iwaizumi watched your classmates leaving. He turned around to you, revealing a bruise on his cheek.
You felt guilty. You felt like your heart was being squeezed. Immediately, you went towards him, worrying over him. âIwaizumi, are you okay?? And youâre not supposed to-â
âDonât worry about me. Itâs just a small bruise. And those three arenât going to talk about today. We have proof and witnesses that you were harassed by them, so they wonât try to get close to you anymore,â he huffed, interrupting you. His face was showing resolve as he talked.
You bit on your lower lip and then you laughed exhausted. âI canât believe you guys⌠This could have ended up badly for us. I really donât know what to say⌠But thanks for everything today. I donât think I could have dealt with this situation without you. Sorry for dragging you into this mess.â
Someone slapped their hand on your back, startling you. It was followed by two more hard hits. They walked ahead of you a few steps and then they turned around to you. Matsukawa spoke up: âDepend on us sometimes. Weâre teammates and friends after all.â
Those were the only words which you needed to hear right now. You couldnât help but give them a heartfelt laugh. You thanked them, stepping forward. One last person slapped their hand on your back. You smiled in response, walking along their sides and watching the sky which was painted in an orange color. You were proud to be a member of Seijohâs volleyball club.
Summary: It was winter again. It was your second Christmas which you spent with Issei as his lover. It has been more than a year since you started going out with him. It was fun and relaxing around him, so you always enjoyed being at his side and being able to laugh with him.
Notes: This is a gift for @miki-chi (・シĎシ・)ďžâĄ I actually printed this out and Iâll post samples of it soon <3
This is a Christmas fanfiction which I wrote for a friend! Iâm reblogging it to this blog in case somebody is interested into reading it. Iâm currently working on the requests and I most likely will post one of them on New Year! Sorry for the delay and happy holidays, everyone! (â´â˝`â)*â˛ďž*
Summary: "Kuroo, this isn't funny anymore. If this package contains the same as from that time, I'm going to-" you were interrupted by Kuroo who pulled his foot back and the door was slammed shut by your weight. You were thrown off your balance but you instantly steadied it again and you opened the door, stepping outside.
Notes: Hey, hey, hey! I managed to finish writing something for Christmas! It actually ended up being more of a simple reader-insert than a Kenma x Reader fanfiction though, haha... But I still hope that you enjoy it! And merry Christmas to everyone °Ëâ§â(â°âżâ°)ââ§Ë°

It was Christmas Eve and you were spending your time alone in your warm room with your laptop and a big blanket which was wrapped around you. Your parents were visiting old friends while you decided to stay at home. They said that they would be back in the evening. Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
You preferred to stay in your blanket but the visitor seemed to be impatient because they didnât take their finger off the doorbell. The noise resounded in your home which started to annoy you. You unwrapped yourself and you stood up from your bed, searching for your slippers. As soon as you found them and put them on, you exited your room, walking to the entrance hall.
It was colder here, so you folded your arms, pressing them close to your body. You drew near the door and you looked through the peephole to see the person who was disturbing you. You saw black and messy hair which covered the left part of the face. It was Kuroo.
You took a step back and you pushed the door handle down, swinging the door open. At the very same moment, Kuroo gave you a smile. You returned a smile and you inconspicuously scanned him from the top to the bottom as well as his surrounding, looking for anything suspicious.
He wore a grey coat with black pants and black leather boots. You noticed a big wrapped package on the ground in the corner of your eyes which was close to the wall of your home. You had a feeling of dĂŠjĂ vu. The package triggered memories from a year ago which werenât great to you and a certain other person related to this.
"Hello, dear manager and merry Christmas! This is your-" you interrupted him by swinging the door shut. But Kuroo had fast reflexes and he managed to place a foot in between the door frame and the door. You put your weight against the door to keep Kuroo outside.
"I'm sorry, but I think you're at the wrong address," you said in an irritated voice as you smiled, still trying to shut the door. Kuroo was pushing his weight against the door as well to stop you from crushing his foot. The door was trembling from the constant pushing from both sides.
He replied with a smile as well: "Dear customer, I am sure that I did not make a mistake. I have never made a mistake, regarding this issue. It seems that you are the one who is causing the problem. Now please, let me inside, so I can set this package in your entrance hall to solve this problem."
"So, what if I don't want it?" you asked in an arrogant tone, provoking him. You still refused to give up and release your weight from the door, nor did Kuroo. You were both too stubborn to back down now.
"I apologize but that is not an option. We, your team members, have made this just for you. As our manager, you have to take the responsibility and accept it," he answered as calmly as possible. But you knew that he was speaking in an undertone of annoyance.
Suddenly you heard a muffled voice, shouting the captainâs name. It was coming from the package. You slowly shifted your weight as Kuroo did the same. The door stopped trembling as much.
"Kuroo, this isn't funny anymore. If this package contains the same as from that time, I'm going to-" you were interrupted by Kuroo who pulled his foot back and the door was slammed shut by your weight. You were thrown off your balance but you instantly steadied it again and you opened the door, stepping outside.
You held on to the door frame as you saw Kuroo, escaping. "Hey, stop! I know that you can still hear me! Kuroo, I'm being serious if you- You canât just keep running away!! KUROO, GET BACK HERE!!"
You were filled with rage. Something similar happened in the past. It actually happened exactly a year ago. Kuroo stood in front of your door with a big package. You let him inside because you were confused over what he had brought for you. He said that it was a special gift from him and the others. It was a mistake to invite him inside with the wrapped cardboard box.
You already set one of your feet inside because your body was starting to feel cold. But you needed to transport this package inside. You heard the muffled voice again but you couldn't make out what he said. You took off one of your slippers and you inserted it in between the door and the door frame, so you wouldnât get locked out. Then you went closer towards the wrapped cardboard box, kneeling down and asking him to repeat what he said.Â
"It's really cold, please help me get out of here..."Â he repeated discouraged. You sighed and you stood up, walking to the other side of the package to push it inside. You were going to have a very nice and long conversation with Kuroo and the rest of the team. It was not okay to force a person inside, twice in a row. It was not alright to even think of doing this and carry out this idea.
Once the package was inside, you put your slipper back on again and you closed the door. Your body had cooled down from the cold and you were starting to shiver. You placed your hands underneath your arm pits, trying to warm them up. Then you approached the big wrapped box again. The gift wrap was red and a pattern of reindeers was printed on it. You also noticed that there were holes at the top. At least they let him breathe.
âKenma, Iâm going to get a penknife. So, Iâll be right back,â you said loud enough for him to hear. You didnât receive a response from him but you were sure that he had understood you. You still couldnât believe that your teammates were pulling this prank this year again. Last year, during the same time, they put Kenma in a wrapped package and he was the âpresentâ for you.
Back then, you werenât friends yet, so it was awkward for both of you to deal with this situation. But your parents were at home and they heartwarmingly welcomed him, inviting him over for dinner. You didnât talk much during the meal but afterwards, you apologized to him that the team dragged him in and that it was most likely Kurooâs idea. He also apologized for his childhood friendâs behavior and you ended up getting closer to each other, bounding together by talking over Kuroo.
You found a penknife in one of the drawers in the kitchen and you walked back to the entrance hall. You bent down and you carefully tried to only cut into the gift wrap. Then you ripped it off, revealing the cardboard box with the label âFragileâ. The package itself was sealed with transparent cellotape.
âIâm going to make a few cuts into the cardboard. Iâm going to be careful, so that nothing happens to you,â you announced to him before cutting into the tape at the two sides. You moved on to the top and you only let the tip carve into the cellotape. Then you proceeded to open the top sides with force.
You folded the carton pieces down, revealing a blond-haired boy with cat-shaped eyes, looking up to you. He wore a red ribbon in his hair and he was surrounded by colorful confetti which was also sticking to his clothes and his skin. He wore a red hoodie and black sweatpants. You also noticed that he had a hand-held game console. Your teammates had abducted him when he was still at home.
You offered Kenma a hand and he willingly took it, holding his console in his other hand. He was standing in the box now, trying to remove all of the confetti before stepping out. But it was nearly impossible to get them all off. Some of the pieces were persistently sticking to his clothes. You told him that it would be better to go out of the box first and he listened to you. He dragged a pile with him and he apologized for it.
You assured him that it was fine and you helped him to get rid of the snippets and you removed the ribbon. Then you searched for the vacuum cleaner to clean up this mess before your parents were back home again. Kenma silently stood next to you, staring at the floor. You turned the vacuum cleaner off, speaking up to Kenma. âYou can sit on the couch if you want to. You donât have to stand in the middle of the hallway.â
He nodded, heading towards the living room. You vacuumed the rest of the confetti and then you returned the vacuum cleaner in the cabinet where you found it. You set the cardboard box aside, deciding to deal with this later. You walked to the living room where Kenma sat still on the couch, staring absent-mindedly at the coffee table.
You went around the furniture and you sat down on the arm chair. You both just sat there in silence for a moment, unknowing of what to say. The events of the past were repeating. You decided to break the ice exactly the same way you did last year. âI apologize for the team and their stupid idea which they somehow managed to accomplish this year too. And I canât believe that Kuroo was the one who brought you here againâŚâ
âNo, Iâm also a part of the team, so I need to apologize in their stead⌠And Iâm sorry about Kuroo too,â Kenma answered. His usually relaxed face was frowning. He was probably tired and he wanted to spend a peaceful Christmas at home, involving gaming. But those plans were hindered. You also wished for a peaceful Christmas but it was impossible to have one with these troublemakers around.
Then you started chuckling when you realized that your conversation began exactly like last year. Kenma looked at you, confused over the fact that you were expressing amusement in this situation.
âItâs just that the same events are happening like last Christmas. Last year, I planned to celebrate the holiday with my parents and then Kuroo just marched in and set the package inside. I ended up celebrating it with you and the exact same thing is happening again,â you explained, trying to clear up the confusion.
âBut we were only club members at that time. Wasnât it strange for you to celebrate Christmas with a person you rarely talked to?â he quietly responded with a question. It was true that you felt awkward that your parents suddenly decided to invite him over for dinner. But they were in friendly terms with Kuroo, his childhood friend because you were friends with him since you both were first-years. The same-aged boy visited your home a few times and they knew he was a good person and that he always had good intentions. That was the reason why they wanted Kenma to stay.
âI felt uneasy at first because we didnât know each other that well. I was surprised that my parents even made that suggestion,â you replied, thinking about the past experience and the feelings and thoughts that you related with it. You were unconsciously gazing at the coffee table as you talked. Then you turned your head towards Kenma, smiling at him. âBut now, Iâm glad that they invited you to stay. Iâm glad that I had the chance to get closer to you.â
The blond-haired boy slowly lowered his head, fixing his hair and thus covering a part of his face as he muttered the words âI seeâ. His face seemed to be emotionless and he spoke in a monotone voice but you were able to read his expressions now. Back then, you thought that he was cold and distant towards you. He was always clinging to Kuroo. But that wasnât true. He was simply shy like right now.
âHey, Kenma. I bought the game which you recommended to me. Do you want to play it right now?â you invited him to spend some time with you before heading home. He looked at you, nodding and smiling slightly. He did not move his facial muscles much but you could tell that he was excited about it. He had a big interest in games, so you knew that you could always start a conversation by broaching that topic.
At the end, you played the game until your parents were back home again. They invited Kenma to eat dinner with you and your family again. He politely refused at first. But when he received a text from Kuroo which said âI told your parents that youâre spending time with your girlfriendâ, his face turned red and he ended up accepting your parentsâ offer.
Of course, you did not actually know the content of the message which is why you were surprised by his suddenly flushed face. He kept that text to himself. But he was going to tell you someday. That day was going to come sooner than you would have thought.
But for now, you spent time with your family and Kenma. The mood was merrier than it was last year. You didnât feel awkward or restricted. You could talk freely, expressing your joy. Kenma didnât talk much but that was simply the kind of person he was. This Christmas ended up being more fun than you had anticipated. It might be a selfish thought but you hoped that you could spend your next Christmas with Kenma again.
Imagine that Saeran and Saeyoung are the protagonists from the fairytale Hansel and Gretel. Vanderwood kicked them out because they were tired of the shenanigens of Saeyoung. Saeran wants to stay close at the house until Vanderwood calmed down but Saeyoung wants to go into the woods.
The scared twin is afraid that they wonât find the way back to the house again, so Saeyoung decides to leave a trail as they go. Instead of leaving breadcrumbs on the ground like in the fairytale, he just leaves a trail of cats. Every ten meters he would set down a cat which he got from who knows where. This is a fairytale after all, so probably anything is possible. Meanwhile, Jumin finds them at some point and happily picks them up.
They arrive at the witchâs house which was made out of sweets. The door was open and the curious and brave twin stepped inside, followed by the scared twin. They hear a loud noise inside, cursing and furiously clicking. The place wasnât lit and they stepped into darkness as they went inside. There was only one room at the end of the hall which was lit. They decided to move forward as they saw a figure with a hoodie, covering their hair and part of their face.
The figure suddenly stands up, startling the twins as they shout at the screen with words they had heard Vanderwood saying before. The figure turns around, walking to the childrenâs direction as they move backwards. The person with the hood passes through the doorframe and then turns the light on, taking off their hood.
The person revealed under the clothes was a young boy who has dark circles under his eyes. It was Yoosung. He asks what they were doing here. Saeyoung answers that he was curious of what this house was. Despite the fact that they were complete strangers, Yoosung introduced himself and invited them for a drink and a snack to calm his nerves from the game.
The twins ended up staying until night, playing games with Yoosung. At night, Vanderwood arrives at the house and finds them and was worried sick because they couldnât find the twins anywhere. They were panting as they entered the house, apologizing for the trouble that the children had caused. Yoosung smiles at them and tells them that he had fun because he hasnât had any real company in a while. They bid goodbye and they walk back home together, happy that they had made a new friend.
Aand itâs another drabble. Iâm currently working on multiple fanfictions right now, haha⌠I should seriously finish one of them. But on Christmas, Iâm definitely going to finish one of them and post it! Btw this idea was kind of random? Iâm still figuring out whether I should write it humorous like in the style above or if I should go for âmy writing styleâ.
