The story takes place in the present timeline of Tears of the Kingdom, after the encounter with Ganondorf beneath Hyrule Castle and the disappearance of Princess Zelda. In this story, Link—Wild, our protagonist, awakens with more than one remnants of the past: he bears the arm of the first King of Hyrule and is joined by several other Links. These heroes have been pulled from their own timelines, where they had lived in peace after completing their respective adventures.
Now, they have been dragged into Wild’s present-day Hyrule, a kingdom facing imminent doom due to the destruction of the Master Sword and the reemergence of an ancient threat.
The central plotline will focus on uncovering how they arrived in this timeline and, most importantly, how to return to their respective timelines.

I thought about adding a section for ratings or prevalence of Gen fics, but I think you can guess that we’re a Gen- and Teen-heavy fandom. You can see my raw data and some more charts over on the Google sheet right at this link. Ha, link. :)
And in that moment, precious instant withering to dust as it was, he understood what the old tree had meant by calling his existence, kingship, strength, rage— everything that made him, him— a divine prank. It was only by his will that he managed to grip a piece, a broken shard that bit into his flesh and sank into it like a firebrand.

If it could be broken, it could be seized. Nothing so sacred as could run from him. This would not be the end. Power was no fleeting breeze. He would not falter, or yield. He would not fail. Should it come to it, he would not die, either. If the golden relic could snap so easily, he would force it into submission, and even the grave would bend and bow to him.
He stared into what once was a sacred place. A sacred realm.
Y'know Springtrap and Deliah? Tried a new take on the characters. Well, mostly Deliah.
