Hi Friends! For my birthday I am raising money for Common Ground Farm and hope you will consider donating even $5. As Covid transformed everything in our lives, I have appreciated how this community farm rose to the occasion, grew and adapted its multifaceted food access programs to the changing needs of our community, especially those most in need (seniors, veterans and those on SNAP and WIC). While Common Ground always donates a large percentage of the food that it grows, this year the farm is well on its way to donating more than ever before, working with and supporting new partner organizations to distribute food to the Hudson Valley. Common Ground quickly adjusted its Farmers' Markets to support local farms and low income customers continuously throughout the season. As we undergo rapid change throughout our society and face uncertainty going into this fall, now is the time to support small, local agriculture.
