I've been looking for something new and refreshing to do during this pandemic period. 😆

So glad that I am able to learn something new ❤😊

This is a Nagomi art using soft pastels ❤ this art originated from Japan.

Nagomi Art is a style of art healing originally founded in Japan where it uses soft pastels and fingers to produce a gentle, warm and colourful piece of art utilising simple painting techniques. The word 'Nagomi' means “harmony” in Japanese. ❤

Let me share a recipe shared by one of my student's parent (preschool teacher here 🙋‍♀️). It was super easy, yummy and healthy!

Healthy Dimsum

Preparation time: 40-60 mins.

Ingredients:

150g minced pork

water chestnuts

fresh mushrooms

carrots

prawns

1 egg

1 tsp. tapioca flour

Wanton skin

Procedure:

1) Add light soya sauce, sesame oil, egg, pepper and tapioca flour to the minced pork and mix.

2) Minced the water chestnuts, fresh mushrooms, carrots and prawns.

3) Combine the seasoned minced pork and vegetables and mix it thoroughly.

4) Wrap mixture using wanton skin. Steam for 15 mins.

5) Share and enjoy!
