I loved Aaron having a morning coffee with Robert. That scene was perfect. I’m so proud of both of them with how they handled everything. Robert after hearing the mess Ryan was causing immediately apologized and took blame. Aaron been just as quick told him he didn’t blame him. He made sure to thank Robert for being there for him and telling him, he wouldn’t want to see him getting in trouble for his help. I couldn’t stop smiling when I heard  Aaron calling Robert and him an “us.” Speaking of smiles Robert gave Aaron (a small) proud smile after Aaron told him about what happened with Gordon. Robert even after Aaron told him to wait, wanted to own up to his mistakes. He is amazingly selfless. He didn’t hesitate at all when DS Wise mentioned the idea that the witness was paid. I never thought I would see Chas wanting to help Robert let alone giving her blessing to Aaron.

- Chas first talks Robert out of going to the police about Ryan. - Then she protects Robert when DS Wise asks about Gordon’s allegations. - She tells Robert that it actually means something to her the way he’s been there for Aaron and was willing to go to prison for him. - Chas actually praises Robert to Aaron and tells him how Robert was prepared to confess about Ryan and risk going to prison just for Aaron. - And FINALLY Chas gives Aaron and Robert her blessing and encourages Aaron to ask Robert out on a date!!

SO MUCH PROGRESS FROM CHAS IN JUST ONE EPISODE!!! SHE IS ACTUALLY WARMING TO THE IDEA OF ROBERT BEING AARON’S BOYFRIEND!!!
