Trying to get back some of my detached wait and see where it goes energy, but god I've had such a shitty day and work was horribly stressful and we didn't get Valko and I just need to bawl like a baby and be mad for a while.
I'm going to be posting a lot over the next few hours, bear with me. I'm reporting back as I find out information

Home update with the kitchen

I am actively trying to find out if "coming soon" and Valko's info in WU is still there. This could very well be a delay like many of us were expecting.
Also, it's worth noting that the next multi was supposed to be Misty Invasion, NOT Wander in Wonder. It seems they are purposefully skipping over several other (spicier) banners. Infold is being watched, I'm sure of it.
We are still waiting on an official statement from them. I'm not losing hope until they definitively say that Valko is not getting released.

୨୧ — The arcade was sensory overload- shrieking children, seizure inducing lights, the cacophony of a hundred machines all screaming for attention. Valko normally would've hated it. Too loud, too bright, too many smells all competing for dominance in his sensitive nose. However... Today was a bit different.
He'd stopped caring about ten minutes ago.
Hard to focus on all that other stuff when you were bent over a claw machine like that... ass pushed out just slightly as you concentrated, tongue poking between your lips. Your shirt had even ridden up in the back. Just a sliver of skin visible above your waistband.
Dangerous view, he thought, tilting his head appreciatively. She's doing this on purpose. Has to be.
"Okay, sweetie, watch-" You were talking to some random little girl -couldn’t have been older than six, pigtails askew, face still sticky from cotton candy- who’d been crying over the machine, quarter after quarter swallowed by this rigged piece of garbage. You, being you, had swooped in like some kind of hero, all soft voice and gentle hands, crouching down to her level... and of course, he had followed you like he always did. "See that one? The gray wolf with the big eyes?"
She nodded so hard her whole body wobbled
"The trick," you said, crouching to her level while keeping one hand on the joystick, "is that the claw is a dirty rotten liar. It wants you to go straight for the prize. But see how that wolf is kinda wedged against that pink bunny?"
She sniffled and nodded again.
"We're gonna use that. Knock him loose first, then grab."
Valko leaned against the side of the machine, arms crossed, watching. He'd hidden his ears and tail away before you both left the apartment -couldn't exactly walk around in public with them out- but you knew the signs. The way he kept shifting his weight. The little twitch at the corner of his mouth. The soft, almost dreamy look in those golden eyes as he tracked your every movement... If his tail was out right now, it'd be going absolutely stupid.
Look at her, he mused, teaching strategy to a six year old like it's a heist movie. Cute as hell.
"Okay, here we go-" You positioned the claw with and waited for the perfect moment, and-
Clunk.
The claw descended. Bumped the pink bunny. The gray wolf wobbled, tipped, then finally fell loose.
"AGAIN!" the little girl shrieked, already bouncing, "Do it again, do it again!"
"I got it, I got it-" You were grinning now, feeding another quarter into the slot.
Natural, he thought, head tilting as he watched the way you let the kid put her tiny hands over yours on the joystick, guiding together. The way you gasped with her, celebrated with her, turned a stupid rigged carnival game into something magic. She's so natural with her...
It made his fingers twitch against his bicep with the urge to touch you, hold you, keep you.
The claw descended.
Gripped.
Then, finally, the gray wolf lifted... wobbled... held...
You froze mid breath. The little girl froze too, carefully following your lead.
Valko's expression softened despite himself. Gonna be such a good mom. Patient. Gentle. Probably let our pup get away with everything, spoil 'em absolutely rotten. His lips quirked. Can't wait to be the "fun dad" who enables all of it.
Valko's gaze dropped to your stomach...
Flat... for now. His cock threatened to twitch at the thought of you round and bred. He pressed his tongue against the back of his teeth, trying to ground himself, then shook his head to clear his mind. Easy. Public place. Children present. Don’t be a degenerate.
His ears were straining to pop free and he had to wrestle them back under control, but fuck, it was hard. Every instinct screaming at him to grab you, drag you somewhere private, and-
The stuffed wolf tumbled into the prize slot with a soft thump.
"YAAAAAAY!" The kid dove for the retrieval door, yanking out her prize and hugging it so tight the stuffing nearly burst, "HE'S SO FLUFFY!!!"
You giggled, ruffling her hair, saying something about how she did all the hard work, you just-
"Let's make one."
You froze.
Valko was still leaning against the machine. Still had that soft, dreamy look. But now there was something else there too- something heated and certain and wanting.
"Wh-...What?... Valko?"
He pushed off the machine, closing the distance between you in two easy strides, looking down at you with half lidded golden eyes as the little girl scampered off. "That." His head nodded toward the retreating girl. Like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Let's make one of our own. Ours would be cuter, obviously."
Your face went red so fast he could practically hear the blood rushing. "H-Here? Now? Valko, we're in-"
"Not here." He laughed, low and teasing, reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear, "I'm not that much of an animal. Usually."
Valko's hand found your waist and yanked you close -no asking, just taking. That infuriating smirk played at the corner of his mouth as his voice dropped to a low rumble- same one that always made your knees forget how to work.
"Watching you with her?" He clicked his tongue, fingers drumming once against your hip. "Hmm. 'Intoxicating' doesn't quite cover it." He tilted his head, pretending to think, "Maybe 'criminally unfair'? Yeah. That's closer."
You felt his thumb trace lazy, deliberate circles- like he had all the time in the world and knew damn well you weren't going anywhere.
"Got me thinking dangerous thoughts, sweetheart." His smirk widened, canines catching the neon light, "About how pretty you'd look all swollen up with something we created." He leaned closer, breath warm against your ear, "About how much fun we'd have getting you there."
Then his hand drifted with deliberate slowness until his palm came to rest against your stomach, the heat of him bleeding through the thin fabric of your shirt. The pressure was firm -possessive- fingers splayed wide like he was claiming the space beneath them.
He tilted his head to the side, those sharp eyes fixed on your face, reading every flicker of emotion that passed across your features. "What d'you think?" he tapped your stomach lightly.
"V-Valko- we- people can-"
"Can what? See me touching my girl?" His grin turned sharp. Wolfish. "Good. Let 'em look. Free entertainment. They should be taking notes."
And then the world flipped.
You yelped as he ducked down, hooked an arm under your knees, and threw you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. The arcade tilted wildly: neon lights, sticky floors, and shocked teenage faces all spun as he strode toward the exit.
"VALKO! What are you- Put me down!"
"No can do." He patted your ass cheerfully. "Taking you home. Non negotiable. Already decided."
"Oh my god."
"That's what you'll be saying later." Smug. So fucking smug. "Among other things. Loudly. Repeatedly. I'm taking requests, by the way."
You couldn't help it. A laugh bubbled up and you buried your face against his back as he carried you through the parking lot. This was insane. This was absolutely insane. Valko had just announced his intention to impregnate you in an arcade and was now kidnapping you in broad daylight and you were laughing.
"You're ridiculous," you managed.
"Mm, and you're gonna look so cute waddling around." He deposited you in the passenger seat with surprising gentleness, then immediately crowded the open door, caging you with his arms, grinning like he'd won something. One hand came up to tap your nose -boop- like you were the pet here before leaning closer, nose brushing yours.
Then the smugness flickered.
"So?" Softer now. That eager puppy energy bleeding through despite his best efforts, tail finally peeking free and wagging- thwap thwap thwap against the car door. "Yes? C'mon, say yes. You know you want to."
You bit your lip. Felt the giddiness still bubbling in your chest, the warmth, the absolute certainty that this ridiculous, impulsive, wonderful man was yours.
"Take me home first-" You grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him down for a quick kiss, "then ask me again."
His whole face lit up, "I mean..." He ducked down, lips finding your neck, teeth dragging just enough to make you shiver. "We have the car right here." Another kiss, lower, right at your pulse point. His voice dropped, "Right now. Why wait?" He pulled back just enough to meet your eyes, one eyebrow arched, challenge and hunger written all over him.
"Unless you're scared you can't keep quiet." A slow, grin. "Which- honestly? Valid concern. You are kinda loud."

The facts:
The 6.0 Version update is coming, no two ways about it. But, we have no idea what exactly it entails yet.
There will be a main story update, "The Shattered Quiet." See post here for visual.
From a user on X: "I noticed a small detail change in the Weibo customer service chat interface: previously, the entry for the official Love and Deepspace customer service had a note that said 'cancelling Ao Yin's launch,' but now that note about cancelling Ao Yin's launch has been removed, and the page now newly displays content about Love and Deepspace cancelling participation in the 2026 BW convention."
The 6.0 Version update is estimated to be about 7.9gb, requiring 27gb of storage to download. For reference, Sylus's 2.0 release was 3.7 gb. Caleb's 4.0 release was 3.3 gb. The FULL house feature in 5.0 was 5.3gb.
Cannot confirm:
7.9 gigs for a KITCHEN? I don't think so. I don't know for sure what's coming in that update, but I know for a fact that a mf KITCHEN isn't taking up 8 gigs.
There was an article allegedly posted by the China Ministry of Public Safety. Find link here. I cannot confirm if it is real. I have seen differing opinions on whether it is legit or not. As such, take it with a grain of salt. And remember that "rectifying" doesn't mean removing—it means correcting.
RUMOR: An alleged CN insider said that Valko will be returning. I cannot confirm or deny this. See post here.
My thoughts:
I know there's a lot going on right now, and Infold's silence is deafening, but let me try to give you a modicum of hope.
The size of the update. 7.9 gigs...yeah, ain't no way that's just for the kitchen.
Confirmed main story update. Raf and Xavier just got a main story update earlier this year, so we know it won't include them. Caleb and Sylus are next up, but the visual of this main story update doesn't fit either of them. To me, that looks like a no-hunt zone. "The real no hunt zone is up ahead. Do you dare follow?"
They already updated several things in the game (the WU stories, the Catch-22 outfits), and yet they kept everything pertaining to Valko. They kept "coming soon." That was on purpose—they could've gotten rid of it just as easily, and they didn't.
Here's what I think is going to happen: Valko's advertisements and voicelines will be changed to fit the demands of the government, and he will release as promised. We might see some changes in his story. I know it sucks, but Infold literally has to comply with the Chinese government. They can't fight them like Americans can fight our government, they can't take them to court and win—they follow the law, or their company goes under. That's just the truth of it.
For now, we wait on an official statement. They literally HAVE to say something today—the update is dropping in China. I'm expecting something this evening, so I will be keeping an eye out. For now, everyone stay calm, and take EVERYTHING with a grain of salt.
My midday report will cover more of what we've managed to achieve during this protest. For this one, I wanted to lay out what we know. As always, I'll update you as soon as I have more info! <3
