Ive always wondered why people choose to just reblog things, I mean I understand that with owning a blog comes the intention of having a place where people could get a little bit of you, what you enjoy, or what you dont.. your thoughts, what you do ect. To some extent I dont frown upon getting inspiration from others, but why not get a little creative and make things of your own?
Ive used Tumblr since I was 15/16 and I used to do the same but the repetitive factor to it makes me not want to be here anymore. I want to see interesting things about different people or friends I follow, not the same movie quote or GIF, or pictures of standard beauty i.e; skinny models and beautifully photoshopped specimens.. we all know this is not reality so why the F**** (sorry for my french) do we give such novelty to these things that are unatteinable
We are making millions of girls belive that they should lead these lives that they believe are true and chase these ideals of perfection and its not right. We are making boys alter their thoughts of what is beautiful in a girl as well. Its the old and still trending epidemic.
Im sorry tumblr but I think Ive grown out of you.
The only reason I come on here once ever so often, is to share a little part of myself.. in hopes that other people feel inspired to.
