Six years later Clarke is like “um madi does Lexa still think about me?” After being like “yeah bobo can die idgaf” i always thought it was a semi joke that would sell him for a corn chip but I’m pretty sure she would sell him for nail clippings at this point

She’d deadass give him away for two grains of salt for her food and not even blink.

Honestly, it’s hilarious how Juggles almost seems to do things to spite the Blarkes. During the Season 2 hiatus they were like “Clarke isn’t really gay. Lexa is just evil” and he gave them from row seats to Clarke munching on vagina in 3x01. Then they were like “Clarke didn’t really love Lexa” and to this day he’s still shoving dead Lexa down their throats. “We love Roan!” and of course Roan lasted two seconds. “We hate Echo!” and he makes them watch Blimpy not only being in love with her and calling her his family but also fucking her. Then there was “platonic soulmate”. Then the “best friends”. Then the slap. Then literally everything else. And now…NOW…after they were like “SHE WOULD NEVER REALLY SHOOT HIM. CLARKE WOULDN’T SURVIVE THE THOUGHT OF BUCKINGHAM DYING OR HER HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT!” She */literally/* is like “well…die then fuck if I care ✌🏻️”. Like…I hate Rotterdam more than I hate stubbing my little toe on furniture but I do admire his commitment to messing with the Blarkes.

An open letter

Dear @the100writers, @kimshum, @aaronginsburg, and the rest of you,

I know what you’re thinking. “It’s been a year, most of them are probably over it by now, this is their final hurrah before they go on to other things.”

While I’m sure that’s true of some of us, however, I can assure you that the majority of us will never forget what you did. We will never forget what you took from us. And we will NEVER, ever forgive.

Our Heda tried to institute Jus drein nou jus daun, but that ended when you took her life. Shot her for no other reason than loving who she loved. In doing so you reminded us that as LGBTQ people, her life - and ours - meant nothing to you. Just like Lexa, we were nothing more than a vehicle for attracting viewers for your “groundbreaking storytelling.”

So thank you. Thank you for reminding us that we have so much more work to do. Thank you for reminding us that just like the Commander, our fight is never over.

Ste yuj, Clexakru. Our fight is just beginning.

i still can’t believe it’s been a year

but honestly??? i’ve made so many close friends since then, have seen so many incredible edits and fanart, have read fic after fic of beautifully crafted stories, and all of them have helped keep clexa alive for me. i know a lot of the fandom has moved on to other shows– and I’m glad they’re moving on; at least someone is– but i can honestly say that the way lexa’s death brought us together was an overwhelming experience for me. it’s something i’ll always remember, and my love for clexa and what they meant to me isn’t going anywhere.

what are some things you wished had happened on the show before lexa died? i don't mean just clexa moments, but like, developments for her as a character

i have so many 

Lexa interacting with her people and how that plays out in times of peace? I would have loved to see her go down into the marketplace, or even just sit on her throne and listen as her people came to her with issues, complaints and disputes

more depth regarding the spiritual role of the commander–I would have liked to see her during a ceremony or a holiday or celebration or something? fulfilling some sort of role? (Well we got a TINY BIT with the wanheda ceremony and ascension day but it should’ve been more)

Lexa teaching Clarke about grounder culture, lore, and legends.

Or teaching her nightbloods and Clarke sitting in. 

Lexa and her handmaidens! I feel like the Handmaidens were alluded to multiple times but we didn’t see them.  

And I wanna see them bathing her but that’s just fanservice for me,,,

Lexa flashbacks! I wanna know what the fuck they alluded to with her and Queen Nia??? Roan implied that Nia wasn’t the only one in the wrong but the show just dropped it after that line? What comparable shit did Lexa do? Also I wanted to know more about Costiaaaa

also her family? either flashback or meeting them in person. 

Lexa Going To War in like. a Real War vs. the ice nation, and I wanted to see her in a Real Battle, not CoL garbage.

Also Wounded Lexa. like a serious wound but she survives it. 

LAUGHING i wanted to see her laughing for real?

Honestly just Lexa establishing a legacy of peace for her people and being remembered for it; being able to create a cooperative society for all of the grounder groups 

An episode opening with her and Clarke in bed together in the morning, like I’ve seen Thousands of Times for straight ppl

Speaking of Clarke their entire s3 arc about forgiveness and falling in love again should have been stretched out over the entire season

And personally I think Lexa’s whole head vs heart arc should’ve stretched out longer into season 3 as well; she’s had a lifetime of being taught that love is weakness…. and then pretty much all the development regarding that happened offscreen in the three month gap? no. I want more.

Or an attack on Polis happening while she’s sleeping and she doesn’t have time to change, just charging out of the room in her pajamas snarling orders at people. Sitting in her throne with her hair loose, wearing a tank top in shorts or The Nightgown™ holding a sword across a lap or a dagger in her hand interrogating one of the other leaders or strategizing

fffff Lexa deserved to say “I love you” to Clarke. Her entire arc was about love being weakness and then love being strength; for her to not even be allowed to say “I love you” to Clarke, to verbalize that, was really disappointing and pretty glaringly obvious considering what a huge part in her character arc that was? Like not only do I think she deserved to say it for the sake of their relationship because I love Clexa, but she deserved to say it simply for herself and her own development as well. 

 I wish she had been thrown from power as the commander, survived, and have to go on a campaign to regain her throne; learning how to navigate the world in order to get shit done when she doesn’t have Incredible Authority Over Everyone and An Army At Her Back.

I literally just cant. Sometimes are you guys hit by the fact, that Lexa the stoic Commander, with the wisdom of generations, fell in love with a smol girl who fell from the sky? She bared her soul to her, and she protected her, and improved and changed her entire life and the ways of her people for that small bi bean? She was so beautiful. And strong. And just…. Powerful. She moved us all. She inspired so many of us. She inspired hundreds of thousands of us to revolt against the media and their view of the lgbtq youth. She changed the lives of so many For me, the most powerful yet heartbreaking scene was one of her very last happy moments. That smile, that smile she gave Clarke as she leaned down to kiss her on the bed. Do you guys remember? That smile. It was like… Seeing her for the first time. Happy. Relieved. Satisfied. She looked so beautiful. And raw. And fucking amazing. I miss her so much

I fuckin miss her. I wanted to add some big text to say what i think about 307, JRot etc, but it’s 5.45 am (omg)… I wanted to finish it before sleeping, soooo… I won’t write something big or my english will be mor shittier than it is usually x’D. I hope you guys feel a bit better since “The Day”. That just was the first time i cried so much for a fictional character. Even my gf, who is not a big tvshow viewer, didn’t understand why i cried so much lol…. What a great woman you were, Lexa. What a horrible waste of potential….. What a well written and powerful lady. I’m…. well. I think this is the first time i experienced such horrible manipulation and marketing thing by a tvshow, with all the false hope, the “vancouver trap” etc…. I can understand (a very little…) why they needed Lexa to die. But the WHEN and the HOW is just fuckin awful. Well, all of this is of useless, you guys already wrote all i think about this. I’ll miss you, Leksa kom Trikru. Really. You left a mark on me.
