yes, you read that correctly!
my time in this fandom is over. i say this in the most grateful, loving way possible. im twenty years old, in college, i have an internship, and lots of other stuff going on and i don’t spend too much time using this blog. because of this, i thought the best thing i could do to give back to this fandom is give my hard work away!
moreover, i think i’ve outgrown my place here. i would like to now quickly disclaim this statement. this is not me implying that at a certain age you become “too old” to stan a band or actor or artist, etc. you are never to old to love and appreciate people and art! i’m simply saying that me personally has grown out of this specific fandom. a lot of my friends who made up the original blogs in this fandom are gone, i don’t follow the boys as closely anymore, and i think a lot of what’s going on in the fandom (drama, hate) is unnecessary and immature. so in summation, it is time for me to move on. but it didn’t feel right to just delete the blog. at one point it was so important to me, and now i want someone else to feel that as well. so enough with the rambling and on to the good stuff!

now knowing this...if you’re interested, there are a few conditions that i ask be met:
1. you don’t change the url/theme
despite not wanting the blog for myself, that doesn’t mean that i won’t ever want to check up on it / see what’s going on with the boys or in the fandom. i would appreciate you not changing the url so i can always do this! i also worked hard on the theme and would like to keep her around :). don’t worry, i’ll never log in.
the last thing anyone needs in this fandom (or anywhere for that matter) is hate or animosity. let’s keep it rainbows and butterflies folks.
3. you keep it about the boys
i would like this blog to go to someone who loves the boys and wants to post about them. i know there are a lot of multi-fandom blogs (ily!) but this one should be kept just to wdw (for the most part).

so. i know that i’ve done a lot of talking, but i did want to give a quick thank you. i’ve been a fan of the boys since around february 2017 and created this blog in october 2017. since then, i have made so many friends and come across so many incredible people. thank you for all of the love, advice, well-wishes, and happy birthdays. im so thankful to have been a part of this special place even if it was only for a little while. ♥︎
