“How many of you people here tonight have gone through a hard time in your life? You know, life sometimes throws you an unexpected curveball. I had one of those about 2 and half years ago, when I was diagnosed with diabetes. Seemed like my whole world was turned upside down. When we went on tour that night and I found out on my way to the hospital, that night, I made a commitment to myself that I wouldn’t let this slow me down. But I’m here today to tell you that it hasn’t slowed me down. There’s people out there today who have come up to me and told me that my story is an inspiration to them. To all of you, thank you. I’m sure you have. In times of hardship… I put a smile on your faces every day. You’re an inspiration to me! Yeah, seven months ago, while shooting a movie, I was having one of those days, where things just weren’t going my way. So I sat down and I wrote this song.

This song is for every broken heart, for every lost dream, for every high and every low. But tonight, tonight, this song is for you. Now here’s what I want you to do.
