After Shocks // Jeremiel & Cassie
foreveryourscassie:
The day after her first full moon was spent in bed for Cassie. Sleep was the only thing that seemed to be all she could manage, despite her desire to chase away the visions that met her when she closed her eyes. Unsure of the time, the blonde sat up in bed, her body aching more than it ever had before, even as a human. This was expected but that didn’t make the soreness from reaching every inch of her body.
Reaching for the glass of water by the side of the bed, she drink was remained but it didn’t cure the dryness in her throat. Her eyes scanned the room, her ears trying to detect any noise in the house. When she heard the faucet in the kitchen, she let out a short breath of relief that Jeremiel was still there. Rubbing her neck, she toyed with the idea of just crawling back under the covers.

Jeremiel remembered the night vividly. He saw his wolf lose control. It was expected for her first full moon. If she could only remember all the killing she did. He was not surprised to see her wolf white as snow. It contradicted his onyx wolf. Cassandra slept late into the afternoon. He spent the day doing some work and tidying up around the house. His head turned into the direction of the stairs. He would hear her stirring.
He turned off the water, drying his hands with the tea towel beside him. Silently he crept up the stairs, hand gliding along the railing. The blonde wolf pushed open the bedroom door watching her hide under the sheets. “Afternoon.” He smirked leaning against the door frame, looking over at her. “How are you feeling?”
There wasn’t much movement from Cassie when she heard the door open, just a small groan at his greeting, “I wanna sleep but I don’t want to,” she pushed the sheet just enough past her face that he could only see her and nose, “Does that make sense?” a small giggle came from her lips but it cause an ache in her back that made her cringe, “And that needs to stop,” she sighed before she finally sat up.
Running a hand through her hair, she kicked her legs over the edge of the bed before slipping off the mattress. Slowly she made her way towards him, “Have you been up all day,” she asked before slipping her arms around his waist, “I prefer when you are laying next to me.”
