Beyond these, Iām still looking at other options. Cold-Blooded Twilight has set up an account on Mastodon, which is a decentralized social system, so I might be making one of those, even though Iāve heard some off-color things about it. And then thereās Pillowfort, which, while it looks like itās the most Tumblr-like platform of all the alternatives, itās still in beta. To be a member there youād have to put money down, which has the double-edged sword of locking out people who canāt afford it, lessening your viewercount.
Time will tell either way. In anycase, I hope to hear from all of you at these other places. Tumblr was basically the best platform at the best time, but its leadership has obviously gone to the dogs. Time to toss caution to the wind, and hope for the best for the future. I intend to reblog this post once a day till the 17th, then weāll see what happens!

Before anyone asks, yes, Iām aware of the tumblrpocalyse. Amusingly a very low number of my posts have been flagged, but Iām not deleted yet. I will have a full post for you all later. In the meantime, hang in there.
The original commissioner of this asked me to upload this to my tumblr, so here she is.
Animations are not something I have a heck of a lot of experience and confidence in, but the interest appears to be there. This is 102 frames at 24 FPS, though said FPS can be adjusted higher or lower.
For the few animations that I have been commed for, I have been charging a rate of $5 for every 10 frames. Iāve been accepting them on a case-by-case basis. Commissions are closed for this year, but in the future when I reopen, if people want animations, youāll have to pitch it to me, and Iāll tell you if I can handle it or not.
Until then, enjoy some heavy marshmallows.
